I dont see how you can buy a better project for this price. The picture is excellent, a real 1080P image, with vibrant colors and detail, even with image size close to 200". I also own a DooGee projector which is an excellent 720P projector, so I have something to compare to. The only better image I have seen is on a 75" 4k TV. But I prefer this projector for the large size picture. I have the projector 6 above my bed on the headboard shelf, and projecting on the wall 12 away. Initially I had a little difficulty setting the focus but playing with is a bit got it correct and I dont need to touch it anymore. The light source is an LED so you wont have to look for a replacement bulb for a while. Now for a few things that are not so good. The sound out of the built in speakers is not so good. I have plugged in a pair of powered speakers for now, but thinking about some decent ones ( Edifier R1280T ). I am not sure if a 5.1 setup can be justified for my bedroom, since that would be more than $500 with the amp/receiver. This ABOX A6 does not support Dolby, so a 5.1 powered speakers will not work. You need to grab the sound by plugging the HDMI into receiver not the projector. I had to change the Fire TV setting for sound to only use stereo and not the best available sound. So the sound problem is solved easily with good external speakers, but the problem that is not solved easily is the noise that is generated by the built in cooler fan. Yes the cooler fan is loud, and it may be the reason for some of you to reject this projector. But for me the most important is the image quality and for that reason I am still giving it 5 stars. I plan to put the projector in a box and use a quiet PC blower fan for cooling. I found a fan for $5 with 40 CFM and 24db noise level. Will see how that works out. I was questioning all this hassle around this projector, but my choices are limited. The only projectors that will give me this quality image are above $600 and they all use the old light bulbs with 7000 hour life, not LED light, and I will not consider a projector that does not use LED light source. Compare this to DooGee again, The DooGee has much better sound from the build in speakers. and the cooling blower is also very quiet. The only reason I upgraded to the ABox A6 is for the 1080P image as oppose to 720p on the DooGee. I would say that If you are not so hung on a 1080P image the DooGee is a very good choice, but for me 1080P makes all the difference.

After 2 weeks of using this projector, I know its ideal for me. I have used the projector at home for movie watching and as a presentation projector. I feel its the best option for anyone seeking entertainment and affordability. The size and quality of the display make it a nice middle ground between a home movie setup and a portable presentation device. It has native 1080p resolution with high lumens, so it worked well in a wide variety of rooms and settings. Fan noise is noticeable during warmup, but the fan sound decreases after the first 5 minutes. As for connections, it has two HDMI ports, two USB ports, one VGA port, as well as audio outputs, so you can connect extra speakers or a sound system. I have been quite happy with this model and have raved about its picture quality and rich color to all friends. It may not be the most compact projector, measuring about 12 x 4.5 x 9.5 inches and weighing under 7 pounds, but its small enough to easily transport. It’s a good entry-level projector because its user friendly, and youre able to use it to either present business applications or for home entertainment. Its the affordable option that checked off all of my boxes, when shopping around for the right projector to fit a variety of my needs.

I noted that the actual menu for setting has a lower quality than full HD, which is totally normal due to separate software in charge of the setting. Once you start playing, you will notice that this device is amazing. I bought another projector (3800 lumen 1080P native) and project them side by side. ABOX A6 killed it. It is a true HD quality, I would suggest to only use the manual correction. Overall a great projector for the price. I will update my post in a month.

I plugged it in and couldnt even get the home menu screen to focus. It was the 4th cheap projector I had tried to use, and was the worst of all of them. Maybe just bad luck.

Downgraded from four stars to two stars to one star Ive contacted seller/manufacturer twice after receiving initial email reply indicating replacement is required. Then, no further communications. If you do not care for warranty coverage. Buy it. If you value after sale support and service, buy with caution. Downgrade from four stars to two stars Contacted vendor for support. There are currently 49 five stars reviews and a handful of one to three stars reviews. Prompt initial responses but when it comes to replacing defective unit, slow action/inaction. Glad I am well within the Amazon return window. This model is good value for the price but image quality is 4 out of 10. Remote is back lite, nice feature. Limited zoom and keystone adjustments making getting a clear of focus video difficult sometimes. Product description shows two years warranty but so far my experience with replacement puts some doubt in my mind.

CUSTOMER UPDATE! I originally rated this projector at One Star because it did not meet my needs and I returned it to Amazon. In all fairness, the review is in comparison to a projector I already own that cost almost twice as much. After my review and return, ABOX was extremely concerned and reached out to me. After corresponding back and forth with them, I decided to change my rating due to their concern and offer of support. Sadly, there are some great features on their projector but I have placement restrictions in my home and it will not work correctly in the only place I can use it. The manufacturer is also planning on pointing out that this unit has no zoom in their advertisement. I wish ABOX well. Unfortunately, this product simply did not work as a replacement for my existing projector, which has a timed out lamp. When I looked at the advertising photos for the product description, I believed this unit had a separate focus and zoom adjustment. What appeared to be a zoom adjustment is actually a manual keystone adjustment. Its weird. When I got the image square, it was out of focus. When I got it in focus, it had a bad keystone. I placed it on top of my existing Viewsonic PJD 6210 which has worked well for years, so, location was not an issue. I could not angle this projector upwards and get a good picture. It needs to remain level which means elevating the entire unit and I cannot do that. The product box I received was crushed along one corner but the inside looked good. The fan is much noisier than my current projector. I would have thought that by now, LED projectors would have progressed more but I think I might wait for one more bulb cycle (2000 hrs) from my Viewsonic before looking into this again. ABOX had the best numbers for the price that I could find so they will be at the top of my list when I shop again.

First off, this is not a DLP projector and doesnt even come close to be as good and bright as an expensive DLP or 3LCD projector. Having said that, for around a couple hundred bucks, this thing is pretty amazing. It offers 400 ansi lumens whereas the other led projectors offer about 200 ansi lumens. The picture is really very good but not completely perfect but for $200 you cant complain. My friends are blown away with the picture on this but keep in mind, this is for a dark environment only. This will barely work in a completely sunlight room. Use it at night or a very dark room and you will be extremely pleased. It is very light also and semi portable. The usb software works great and can play movies straight from your flash drive. I really love this projector and I am very impressed with the ABOX brand.

For the cost of this projector it is a great buy! Pros: Sharp picture with a native 1080P resolution, Fairly bright, it can even be watched in a fairly lit room(though it is best in darkness), sound is ok( No Dolby), easy to set up, menu is ok and fairly easy to navigate, Can project up to 200", but at 180" you start to lose sharpness, accepts external speakers, automatic horizontal keystone with manual adjustment, manual focus adjustment, lense cover, 1 adjustable foot for leveling unit, mounting holes for optional mounting attachments for ceiling mount or tripod mounting, cheap price $, good customer service, shipped quickly, LCD display Cons: No bluetooth, No wifi, No Dolby Pro Logic, No vertical keystone adjustment(projector must be centered on screen or picture will keystone/hourglass), sound is ok, short AC cord, package design is a little dated, and plain to look at, Not 3D capable, only 1 adjustable foot in front instead of all 4 corners, could be a bit brighter(in all fairness it is pretty bright, especially for the cost), a few specs of dust on the mirror inside my unit that if looked for can be seen on the picture( I plan to just clean my mirror by opening the unit, not a big deal for me). Overall this thing is great for the price. If they were to address all of the cons I listed which arent really deal breakers, for me, I would gladly pay another $100-$150. I recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great, cheap, entry level projector that has a native 1080P picture.

Listen, this is a legit review. Im replacing a $85 black Friday Projector ($115) with this one and the extra money is well worth it. I sent the other one packing because the picture was just so poor. And it said "3200 lumens" but as many of you know - and I do now - ANSI Lumens are what matter. ANSI means how bright the picture is once it hits the screen, the "3200 Lumens" of my $85 projector was the brightness of the bulb. I can tell you this 400 ANSI projector is at least 3 times brighter than my 3200 Lumen projector. A big disappointment with both is keyhole correction is actually projection shift which makes the picture fuzzy on sides. True keyhole correction is digital. This and my old one are manual (read-optical) and they are fuzzy due to physics... Thats because the light hitting the screen literally travels longer on top vs bottom (or vice versa). However, I found the sharpness of the picture on the ABOX helped compensate compared to my $85 projector. BL, at this price point you will not find a brighter, better picture. I took off 2 stars because this one is just so darn big and heavy compared to some others and another off because of the fib about keyhole correction. Still, the value is amazing. Because you will not find a brighter, sharper picture at this price point - and Ive looked - I give it a star back and you get 4 stars.

Install Flash Player The ABOX A6 1080p projector was a nice surprise. It was a little bit bigger than what I would call a “Portable” projector, however it is not too big if you want to use it in a temporary way to take out and set up only when needed. The video was surprising good, not because I expected a bad picture, but because the picture was as good if not better than I have seen from much more expensive projectors. With the Full HD projection and brightness this projector will make any movie or TV show look good in my opinion. The sound was surprising as well. I expected little more than canned sound which was obviously an after-thought of the projector, but this projector was too loud at first, and rich as well. It wasn’t theatre quality, but was much louder and richer than I was expecting from a projector. I still will most likely use a different source of audio for my home theatre, but for a temporary use in a living room for movie night this projector puts out more than adequate sound in my opinion. I am only really interested in the HDMI ports, which this has two of (a nice feature) but you also get two USB ports and a VGA port, neither of which I plan to use, but are nice options for some people maybe. I was surprised how close to the wall I needed to put the projector to get the full screen to stay on the projector screen on the wall. The room that I tested this in has an existing projector hanging from the ceiling and it is twice as far back as where I put this projector to get the same size screen. This is good news since most home theaters don’t have as much room for the longer throw projectors. The room I will be putting this projector in is small enough that it would have been a problem if this projector didn’t have the shorter throw lens. The video and pictures of the projector and the picture on the wall were taken with the room mostly lit, the only lights that were off were near the screen. The brightness pf was more than what was needed in the room I was in, even with the lights on. I was a little surprised to not see any moveable feet underneath the front of the projector. If the projector is being used in a temporary way on a table or other surface, you will need some items like books or boxes to get the height and angle correct. The keystone correction is manual with the controls on the side by the lens, but that is common in projectors that cost more as well. The projector has the mounting holes to mount to the ceiling with a bracket, which is the way I ultimately will be using this projector, and the moveable feet won’t be a problem when mounting it to the ceiling because all the adjustments will be in the bracket as well as the keystone correction. The settings allow for the projector to be set upright on a table or other surface like you see in the video, or also mounted on the ceiling. In addition it supports rear projection, although I am not sure how often that would be used in a home. I could see that being used if the projector was set up outside maybe beside a swimming pool with a rear projection screen. All in all I am very happy with this projector. Sure there are a couple things that I would have liked that I mentioned above, but for this price point I don’t think you can go wrong.
