Install Flash Player This projector was surprisingly good for the price. Being that it’s 1080p— it sharp, crispy, and decently quiet with the heating fan. The speaker is great for small room listening. Good highs and mids; the lower will not always be there. I included a lot of video to show the quality of picture. Please note that the room is pretty dark to give the best quality possible. Please refer to site for size and spec. I was incorrect in measurements. Overall quality seems nice, the build— fit and finish seems just about right for the price.

Native 1080p confirmed! Replaced an RCA projector that "Supported 1080p" and its a world of clarity different! Worth the extra Benjamin for sure. I also like that it has 2 HDMI inputs because DirecTv requires a direct connection but I use an HDMI splitter for my other 3 components. The room has 2 windows with wooden blinds ( that dont cut all the light out) and this is much easier to see than the 720p native RCA in that way too. I dont use the projector speakers but they are pretty loud and clear for what they are. If you write a review of this without testing a Blu-ray(true 1080p output) via HDMI then you should before reviewing. My vision twice as good as 20/20 and I can assure you it projects pure 1080p for sure! It looks like real theater quality and in your own home, its massive! Putting up my motorized screen this week which should show even better than the white sheet I had up. The only minor down side I have found is there is no zoom to adjust the size of the picture throw. This means i had to devise and secure an extended glass plank from my wall in order to fit my screen. If you are just projecting onto an entire wall this shouldnt matter but other than that minor set back I am still utterly amazed at the theater picture quality of Native 1080p!

Hello, I took a chance when ordering this as there were just a few reviews. I went for it when it was on sale. I received it today 12/03/18 in the mail. I also ordered the Vankyo510 to compare. The specs were not as good but had 4.8/5 stars with over 370 reviews ( between the two colors). It was priced at $189. I have a room with blackout curtains and the "bestmassage" 100 inch wall screen for about $90 ( beautiful but needed a replacement piece ). I have little to no ambient light. My objective, best overall value for my money. I want a nice picture. Vankyo was sleeker. Vankyo was slightly quieter. Vankyo had a swanky travel bag. SENT IT BACK. I dont think anyone would be disappointed with it. Its a great model. I would have been satisfied with it if I hadnt compared. ABOX was just a better value. I dont need it to be sleek. Once I install it on my ceiling Ill barely notice it ($18 universal mount). I dont need a travel bag. Im keeping it at my house. It was a little louder, but after a few minutes I didnt notice it. What I did notice was the movie was brighter and the darks darker. It made the other one look slightly washed out. Again, my objective was best picture and value. I tried to take a video of them both but my phone quality isnt great so they looked the same but its noticable in person. Conclusion: ABOX is like shopping at Aldis. Might not be the prettiest but the value is there. Honestly, if value wasnt the most important thing, youd be looking at $600+ projectors. Give it a try. The picture is wonderful!

Edit. While I can not recommend this unit (I really doubt you can get an acceptable 1080p at this price now).. the seller themselves were INCREDIBLE. the best. I hope to see them again. I improved a lot of things with the unit but in the end 2 for 2 units had a bad keystone lenses. This is also a 1 lcd vs 3 lcd unit which isnt really how they do it. First the bullet points: *LOUD. If this is "x amount" quieter then their old one, they must have used a prop plane propeller before. More likely it is simply "Chinese marketing"...more commonly referred to by the rest of the world as a "lie". (A lot more info on this at the end). *The closer you have the projector to the screen, the more the focus ring moves out. Further out means the lens cap wont fit. Bummer, Ill think of something. *I searched long and hard for the lowest cost 1080p (actual) and this seemed to be it. Days after having this I can find several more at a similar price point (Amazon search is very "fishy" sometimes....most times). *The most important thing to me is the picture quality. The biggest disappointment there is getting it focused perfectly. If I focus one corner, the opposite is out if focus a bit. Im pretty sure this is precisely where the more expensive brand names bury stuff like this. I think there is software that can be used through your computer to help correct this, so hopefully I can fix this. But even if I cant, the picture is much better than my old 73" DLP TV and it is 200 times smaller furniture-wise, and 100% larger screen! So Im happy enough. Maybe. *Noise and sound quality can be fixed with better fans (probably), and external speakers. *It isnt as nice "looking" as pretty much any other unit, but again thats of the least importance to me at the low end price... (But a lit remote would have been nice. EDIT. Its lit) *User interface is the only other thing of big importance to me. The instructions dont explain much at all (what does horizontal correction do?) and it is lacking features there...but acceptable. *Brightness is "OK". I cant say how accurate the lumen claim is, but I wouldnt want any less to work with unless you will only ever use it in almost total darkness. Even then, more gives you options, and you can always turn it down and it will run the system less hard. *One thing I really love is that it is bright enough for me... But uses LED instead of HID bulbs which never last long and are expensive. Hopefully the cooling is sufficient to make it last. *On that note, this was the best warranty I came across (Assuming it is honored. Not a lot of reviews at this time). *For the price this is almost 5 stars, but due to slight picture distortion and UNBEARABLE fan noise I have to give it 4. Still a good buy IMO (as of Nov 2018). ....So... The noise. I measured it and it was close to 60 decibels at the unit. That sucks, because: I have this...."sickness". Where I must modify.... everything. So Im thinking, on the one hand... 5 year warranty that will likely be voided if I mess with it. On the other hand... The sickness... So I tore into it.... (I know I know) The offender is one of the 2 fans. (They could have spent 2 more bucks and sourced a better fan and not forced me to do this)... Ill be buying a different one once I research them a bit, and report how it goes later. It is a 12v 9733 type blower fan only marked 2400s (assuming 2400 speed or RPM). Ill be looking for something 30db or less and as high a CFM as possible. Ill compare the blowing power when I have them side by side to hopefully have similar or even better CFM. (If the seller/designers/manufacturer wants to chime in on CFM info that sure would be awesome... If they dont hate me yet haha!). Heat is a real killer to these things so you want to be careful getting anything that just blows less air. In this case it wasnt so much air being blown creating the sound.. but a whining cheap motor, so I think I can get a better fan to help. While I was in there (sickness), I decided Im never going to use the speakers. One in particular is half blocking what is already unintentionally an unfiltered air inlet, so I pulled the speakers and drilled out the speaker vents a bit more before gluing some filter material in (a vacuum should have no problem cleaning them from outside). This can only help improve airflow and seal the box up from dust some more. For the time being, until I get a new fan, I insulated/isolated the fan from the chassis a bit (you can use filter like foam, or packing peanut material, or rubber etc. Even folded up paper towel chunks could help if your desperate). This alone actually dropped the noise down about 10 decibels to 50. That is still too loud for me and it reads 30 decibels at even the furthest place away from the projector in the room I am using. I will update this "review" over time in case someone else feels like... voiding a warranty. *rolleyes* Update1. Holy balls this thing is so LOUD! I have a new fan coming (pretty sure a guy in a rowboat is making his way from China), but good gawd. My 33 year old truck is quieter. Also the image is pin-cusioned. ALSO, it will only focus if the keystone is off, so I cant get a squared picture. Im thinking a mirror or other optic is not positioned perfectly maybe. Im just the type to try to make stuff work instead of getting something good to begin with... (Stupid sickness)... But for most people... Seriously... find another bottom end 1080 projector and try it instead. The optics arent precise, the fan is unbearable... It also could use firmware with more options... OH! and I cant get it to reproduce an accurate red. Reds look pink no matter what I do... You sure you want to deal with all this still? edit:If you should choose to deal with this model and are handy I recommend doubling the outlet fan so one will be on the outside of the unit. Those ones are quiet. double or change the inlet fans but run them at reduced power for noise. I personally also added another heatsink. It ran so cool it was fantastic but in the end I had to abandon it over the lens issues. I could recommend more things but seriously, go to projectorcentral. They wont steer you wrong. type in your price range and use and distance and screen size etc.. but entry level decent ones start at like 500. I dont think these 200 dollar ones work. More like a kids meal prize in quality

I wanted a 4K capable projector but prices are still far too high, so this unit will suffice in the meantime. So far, so good. For an affordable 1080P capable projector, this unit is spectacular. Displaying 4K edited video, scaled down to 1080P, it simply looks exceptional. The controls for keystone, zoom, focus, etc., are a bit fidgety but easily useable and the overall case feels sturdy. GooBang claims an extremely wide color gamut for this projector and I can concur. The color balance using the Cinema (normal) mode matches the Retina display on my MacBook Pro almost perfectly when judging by eye. Black levels arent perfect, no LCD based projector really is but they are very good. Contrast ratio seems excellent and the light output is such that a darkened (but not pitch black) room will allow daylight use. It is nice that is has 2 HDMI cords to plug in multiple devices. A little hard to change the focus but sure it will loosen over time. Overall great projector.

Best projector in its class (native 1080p around $200). In short, if you are looking at this projector because you don’t want to compromise on your set budget (and you are reading through all the reviews like I had) then you can go with this. It is mountable unlike most in this class (holes are under the glued rubber tips of the feet). I mounted it 13.5 ft away to create 160 inch image. Very good image but not as great as dlp projectors. Viewing position was 12 ft away, which is not far enough because picture felt (very slightly) blurry. This is not the case with dlp projectors which I am assuming is because of their way higher contrast ratio. DLP projectors generally have conventional lamps and throw better picture as compared to projectors with LED lamp like this but they cost atleast twice as much. Although, LED lamp has 3 times longer life than conventional lamp (which is good enough to last till high resolution, casually styled, augmented reality glasses become common ;) ). I compared it with another popular 1080p projector in the same price range(and with more reviews). Its picture was clearly brighter and sharper. Dlp projectors with similar brightness work well in daylight. This one, not as much (maybe it works better at shorter distances). Installation was tough, but I didn’t mind this one time effort for the price. The mounting screws are not of metric specification and not replaceable with screws provided with mount. It’s size is between M3 and M4. The head of the screws is narrow and passing through the holes in the mount. I had to buy M4 washers to keep it above the mount holes. Almost no mounting flexibility. If your screen size and position is fixed, then there is only a small range (thanks to keystone, there is a range) of height for the projector where it will have the right focus. This may be compromising or unacceptable for someone with an existing setup. For my mentioned screen dimensions, which was starting very close to the ceiling, my ideal position was 1 ft below the ceiling. But I kept it 6 inches below the ceiling which was the edge of keystone (15 degrees). Automatic keystone did not work for me when mounting (with projector upside-down) and I think it’s for ppl on the move with no permanent setup. Oh, the first thing I would do before starting the setup is the reset configuration to factory defaults and then executing the “horizontal correction” option in the menu (and then never touch them again after installation) Remote control range and angle was limited, there are lots of remotes that work while pointing anywhere (or atleast general direction) but I had to consciously aim for this to work. I like the backlight on the remote, though. I had scrutinized the projector a lot and found few small imperfections which otherwise would not be noticed by someone who just enjoys their purchase. Menu features where adequate except for shutdown timer which I excepted to have longer options. Did not test sound enough to grow an opinion on it, as I had a home theatre system. Except for screws not being metric and longer shutdown timer, I would not call out any possible improvements on this as that may increase the price point which is its best feature.

I was doing what I normally do. Came up with a plan on Wednesday to have everyone over for the big game on Saturday. Looked at every projector available on Amazon and compared them all. This requirement was leading me to a projector that was in the 3000+ lumens category, but all the projectors that met this requirement were outside of my price range. I found this projector in an Amazon search and saw that it had very good reviews. I was worried that the picture quality and brightness would not be bright enough for an outdoor setup. This was definitely not the case. The picture is plenty bright enough and the picture quality is true high definition. No dark corner or dark margin. The picture is evenly illuminated. Works great, picture is fantastic and the built in sound was surprisingly great. I have a great outdoor sound system, but this would do very well with no other speakers. Take it from the guy that spends countless hours comparing products to no end, buy this one, you wont regret it. The build quality is that of a much more expensive projector. The only negative thing that I can say is that the small leg, used for leveling, seems to be very thin and one must be very careful with it to avoid breaking. Other than that, this projector is great for the money.

The picture quality is extremely crisp and clear when you adjust it to your atmosphere. This projector is easy to set up and move around. With its 4000 lumens and 1080 p picture quality makes it great in varying light conditions. The room doesn’t have to be completely dark to use it. The auto screen squaring feature is great. I would recommend this to friends and family. My search for a quality projector and a budget is over.

Install Flash Player There are not many items that bring joy like the feeling of pulling out the tabs on a box for an electronic that you have been thinking about for a while. This was the feeling I got when I opened my projector for the first time. I was trying to decide on when I should pull the trigger on purchasing a projector and when I came across this one it was a no-brainer just because of the price. The projector came in a nicely packaged box with foam to cushion and includes an easy to use remote, HDMI cord, and Aux cord, and power cord. It is super easy to set up with the foot being the only assembly. I plugged in my power and input source and away I went. It is easy to adjust the keystone and the focus (as shown in my video). The size of the screen can not be adjusted with a lens, but rather is adjusted based upon the proximity of the projector to the surface being projected on to. It has 2 HDMI inputs for multiple source use, and an auxiliary input for coaxial use. The speakers on the projector blew my expectations away. Normally the speakers on a projector are garbage and not worth the materials used, these speakers are almost better than the picture quality of the projector. Overall this projector is great for the price! Pros: the price point, easiness of use. Cons: the keystone seems to mess with the clarity of the image, keep the projector flat as much as possible to avoid having to use the keystone.

After searching Amazon for awhile, I finally came across the Abox A6 projector. For the price you cant beat it. The best and most important thing you get with this projector is native 1080p. Many of the other brands claim 1080 support which I found out will project the image BUT at a lower resolution. The lumens is bright enough to watch during the daytime and with lights on. The only thing I would advise is NOT to expect the same features as a projector that cost 2-3X the price. If youre realistic, youll be more than satisfied with the image quality this projector can project. I was having issues when I first got this projector, but they responded and made sure I had a good experience. Thank you very much Abox.
