AAXA Technologies P300 Pico Projector with Rechargeable Battery - Native HD resolution with 500 LED Lumens, For Business, Home Theater, Travel and more (KP-600-01)
I bought this two years ago and the bulb went out. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me that they do not have replacement parts for their products and offered me a discount to buy a new one (discounted price was $20 lower than what I could by a new one on amazon). I spent $400 on a product that lasted 2 years with no way to repair it. AAXA just got two thumbs down but not backing their own products.

It never worked properly and now has stopped working at all. I bought it on February 3 and it is April 27 and I find out I cannot return this POS. I will never buy a product from this company again It is January 2018 and the second one has died. This is two units and three batteries. Never will I buy anything from this company.

The AAXA P300 micro projector is an amazing little device. For such a small unit, it lights up a 100" (diagonal) Screen Innovations projector screen with enough brightness to be visible without darkening the room. Setup is very easy and intuitive with sufficient inputs and media format support to handle just about anything a pocket-sized projector would be asked to project. The unit does come with a battery installed, despite the implication in the manual that its optional. In reality, an *extra* battery is optional. There are several picture modes (e.g. Movie, Standard, Presentation, User) and color temperatures (e.g. Warm, Normal, Cool, User) to tweak the color space, gamma, and contrast. I wouldnt call any of them THX or ISF calibrated, but theyre definitely good enough for an ad-hoc movie watching session, screen sharing, or PPT presentation. The only two minor nits that each knock half-a-star off my review are: * The credit card-thin remote is VERY twitchy. It takes a gentle and/or lucky touch to have the thin film button actuate once, and only once. * The brightness drops noticeably when running on batteries. I was testing all kinds of inputs and formats while plugged in and was very impressed with the daylight brightness. When I performed a demo for wifey, after the unit was fully charged and unplugged, the projection was noticeably dimmer. I thought I had a setting wrong, but confirmed that you lose maybe 1/3 of the lumens on battery. In summary, Im very happy with the little powerhouse. It performs up to or exceeds all my expectations.

Pros: -Excellent contrast. Blacks are black. And this thing is BRIGHT for how small it is. -Simple operation. -Having an internal battery is neat. -Image quality overall is pretty darn good. Cons: -Noticeable "rainbow" effect when scanning your eyes across the screen, but no worse than other DLP projectors -Poor color handling and image tearing when using HDMI (wrong colorspace, some kind of wrong sRGB handling), you should use VGA when possible -Feels like cheap plastic and weak case design (creaks when you push the buttons)

I took a lot of time before deciding which projector I wanted to get. I needed it to be portable, bright enough for classrooms that did not have light control (since our classes had ventilation blocks along one side), battery operated and had various input options. Eventualy, I decided on the P300 and was pleasnatly surprised when I got it to find that it had been upgraded to 400 lumins and contained an installed battery pack. One the first afternoon I mounted it on a u8000 tripod that I had for years and I projected along a wall at home to the maximum size of 120 (it was actually 127) in a room that had a fair amount of light. The movie was quite viewable and the audio was louder than I expected. The colours were crisp and the details were quite clear. I am not at all disappointed in this purchase and look forward to using it in my classes. Update: I just connected my 500 Gb hard drive to the USB outlet and it worked. I am able to watch movies that I have stored on the device. From the manual, I presumed 32 Gb was the limit.

So far, this projector has lived up to my expectations. The image quality is surprisingly good. I havent had the opportunity to use it in a large room, but in my office it has been great. I suggest getting a larger carrying case; I bought a smaller more compact one, but that doesnt hold all of the "stuff" that comes with it. It connects to my computer. The built in menu has been easy to learn. The fan is a little noisy, but tolerable. Im waiting to use it in a larger venue to determine the image diffusion and ambient light contamination. The reviews had me a little nervous, but at this juncture in time, I have no qualms about recommending it.

I use this projector for work and leisure! The quality of the materials used is top notch. This is a very sturdy projector and well worth the price it is selling at! The size is perfect for traveling and the lumens that this little guy has is amazing for its size! Best of all it is an LED projector so the life of this projector is LOOOONGGGGGG! Another pro about this projector being an LED is that it starts up in no time (approx less than 30 secs). The fan noise on this projector is mediocre, but after a while you dont even notice it anymore. Pros: -Light Weight and size is PERFECT for fraveling -High quality material used -Looks great -Easy to navigate the settings/different modes in menu -LED = Long life time -Rechargeable battery (Can run up to 2 hrs on highest setting before running out of battery) - Super Bright! works well even with a little sunlight in the room Cons: -No Key Stone adjustment :[ -The tri-pod that came with it is poop

I travel a lot with my job and needed a lightweight projector I could carry with me. Reviews on the AAXA P300 were good, however, it is an absolute epic disappointment. Its so lightweight, you have to tape the tripod to the table to keep it in place. The focus wheel is an epic fail. Its hard to turn, and so sensitive, there is no fine adjustment, its either a lot blurry or a little blurry. Then there is the brightness adjustment. With instruction book in hand, I carefully read through what to do when the projection needs to be brightened. The projector wouldnt let me do it. It had greyed out the option to brighten the picture. Horrible, hate it, will be sending it back.

This is a great, small LED projector. Good native resolution, unlike other small projectors that claim to support HD, but actually down convert to quarter VGA. I purchased this projector because of the ability to run on a built in battery. Will run at reduced intensity for about an hour. We use this as part of the display for a trade show kiosk, projecting an image of about 50-60 inches on the back of our booth. These days conventions charge a fortune for electricity. This projector allows us to run on battery and avoid purchasing power for the booth. The power supply is a 120 VAC to 12 V DC brick; I am planning on using an external 12 volt battery to get more run time and at higher brightness while still not having to plug in the wall. Colors and contrast are very good. There is keystone correction, and HDMI as well as VGA inputs to run off of a computer or DVD player. Speaker is anemic, but there is an external 3.5 mm audio out socket, so you can plug in some external speakers for more sound. Will support video files directly from microSD card or attached USB so we run our booth without needing a laptop. Amazon sells a case for this projector which works well and will protect your investment.

Very disappointed with this projector. the LED light went out after only a few hours. unfortunately, it is out of warranty, and they didnt even act like they wanted me to send it in for repairs. they suggested I just toss it, but offered me a small discount on a new one.. No Thanks.
