I have had this little projector for over a month. PROs It is compact, when it works well, it works mostly very well. The speaker is "nahhh" but you dont expect great speakers in projectors. It does its job well. It has batteries although they dont last much unless you have the light source in Eco. It isnt heavy and mostly delivers. CONS 1. At least mine has some issues connecting correcly to the cable box. The image is fine, but sound works sometimes, and some other times it does not. The same HDMI source, when used on my old OPTOMA HD projector or on my LED TV always works fine. So the issue is the projector. I took the time of writing to AAXA before writing this review. We exchanged emails with a nice guy called Michael. Most of the time he tried to explain how everything worked and the problem was just mine. After going back and forth 9 times, I finally gave up. He was very nice to apologize but then again, he said that there must be a compatibility issue between my Cable box and the unit (again, the problem was mine and not the units). As I explained to him in my last email before giving up, I get sound, another days I dont...on, off...if it is incompatible, it just does not work since the software cannot "work out issues" (it is not a programmer, it is just a program), so it will not work out what is wrong. If it works sometimes, and sometimes it does not (while everywhere else the connection is always fine), then it is either an issue with the HDMI imput or with the projectors software. Thats it. So we agreed to disagree. 2. Other annoying little issues: a. I put the lamp in BOOST mode, and the projector, on its own, brings back brightness to Standard within 10 minutes. It will just not stay on BOOST (brightest) b. Focus is very annoying. It is just a short wheel. So if you miss the exact spot, you are off focus. ALSO, if you have it working with the tripod it comes with and listening loudly with the onboard speaker, it will shake enough to move it and to get it off focus. I have to get up every 20 minutes to refocus. c. This is common of all these small projectors, the interface works but it is awful, and the remote is just garbage. OVERALL: It is still a nice little projector and it delivers a lot for your buck. It is just full of little nagging issues which very much detract from what could be an enjoyable experience. Their service department is responsive but I wish it tried to solve issues instead of, very politely, trying to convince the user that there is nothing wrong with the unit... Just because it works, and it is bright (although very often only when it feels like it) and has sound (again, mostly when it feels like it)... 3 Stars.

I wanted a small LED projector I could use indoors and outdoors to watch movies at home. Read some good reviews on the P300 Neo and talked to their customer support to make sure this mini projector would be a good fit for me and I’m glad I went with it. Not only is this projector VERY portable but the projection its perfect for my kids. It’s super easy to connect to my laptop and just as easy to connect my iphone X, which allows me to pretty much stream whatever I want. Very happy with my AAXA projector and I would recommend.

I just received this projector. I was skeptical. Tried it and it blew my mind away. First, the colors were richer than my HD laptop screen. The image was very bright. We could see it with side lamps on in the room. It immediately played various formats of videos on a memory stick including very old HD videos recorded on an old HD camera and playback was perfect. In fact, no device I have in the house was able to play back these videos smoothly but this one did. I was able to project the screen only an 18ft ceiling and it was nice, bright, and awesome. The kids laid down on their backs and watched part of a movie that way. I even projected the image onto neighboring homes and it projected far. I may attach it to a drone and see how high I can go up and project down to the ground. Anyway, fun aside... Comes with a nice small tripod, power supply, and full function remote except I couldnt do fast forward or rewind :( It is NOT loud. The fan noise is very reasonable and not a problem. Focus is manual and I like that. Very easy to focus. I tried the HDMI and it worked like a charm. I tried projecting an application for business and it worked great. I plan to use this on multiple business trips so Ill update the review once done. We did hear sound out of it and it was reasonable considering the size. DO NOT expect unreasonable sound volume and richness from a small device like this. So it met my expectation. Want more sound then connect external speakers. Does not come with a carrying case or protective case unfortunately. You have to get your own. No lens protector either. It is small and light. Very portable. I purchased a carrying case for it. It impressed our entire office. I was able to walk around, without wires, and project stuff all over the place. Didnt test the battery capacity yet.

This is hands down my favorite projector I’ve ever purchased and easily my favorite purchase of the year. This tiny little thing packs a punch!!! I was used to using $80 amazon projectors or a $1200 massive beast of a projector, this one performs just as well as the $1200 one, but it’s portable and has a built in battery! It’s so tiny. Incredibly satisfied with my purchase. The regular sized hdmi port on the back is a great feature. The onboard computer is amazing, allows me to play photo slideshows with ease and doesn’t have any kind of persistent or annoying graphic when an image is paused, etc. I bought a hard drive case along with this that fits it perfectly! This is an amazing projector. Hands down. Best purchase. Love it! Great engineering AAXA!

I bought this projector specifically to have a small projector to carry with my Nintendo switch. Its bright enough even with some ambient light in the room and its very crisp in detail especially when you set the switch to output 720p. My only gripe is that as a portable projector Id really like a way to protect the lens when not in use. I bought a case for it that should work fine but a little sliding shutter would have been awesome.

I mostly like it for the size, contrast, brightness. I use it almost every day. The colors had to be tained down to about half of the default which makes the picture a little pail nut more reasonable because the default is too "punchy" alot of saturation , which makes the reds really pink and glowing... it sounds like an old laptop on high performance mode. you definetly hear the fan, but with the movie in the background you forget. if you want the projector to attach subtitles to the movie it doesnt work. subtitles in english are unreadable, and other language such as hebrew doesnt work. I think the price is good but you have to know the downsides. PROS: size , contrast, brightnes, good white color. sharp if you nail the focus ring by the milimeter. no lag. nice tripod. price. remembers last settings. good standart light even with battery but for 30 minutes- eco mode is longer. (buying an extrenal battery for outdoor use as it draws only 25W) CONS: color too harsh. red is pink. no subtitle support (very important for traveling if you are not english native - now i have to buy a player..), a lot of light is spread around the picture (like a 20% frame of dim light). no keystone on the device bottons (have to keep the remote with you). handle gently with focus ring to nail exact focus. update : loses focus after few minutes. needs to be refocused after about 5 minutes. and than stays in focus

Fun little gadget. In works as advertised, and most of the reviews are spot on as they point out the pros and cons. Its got a nice picture, its a little loud, it gets a little hot, its very portable, etc. Just a few notes: 1. Its not super bright. If you use this in a dark room with all lights turned off, then it is super bright. But if you try to use this in a room with windows during daytime, then its not that easy to see. 2. The battery is almost a joke. It says 2.5 hours in Eco mode in the description here. On the AAXA website, it just says 60+ minute operation. We were able to get exactly 60 minutes on Standard mode: we were watching a movie, and the projector shut off at the 59 minute mark, but we probably spent 1 minute setting up in the beginning. 3. Connecting was surprisingly easy. Bought a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable (like AmazonBasics Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Cable - 6 Feet ) and connected the MacBook Air to this projector. Then selected Digital Input on the projector, and Voila! There was a beautiful image.

After owning an old P1-J for years(and loving it), I upgraded to this. Pros: * Real HDMI input * Keystone correction. Granted, its digital, but still way better than nothing. Cons: * Archaic onboard "media player" is terrible for several reasons: 1- Its very finicky about what formats it will play, and AAXA gives no documentation on what codecs work best. 2- Theres a lot of input lag when using the remote. 3- When moving the selector over a file, if you stop, the entire interface will lock-up for a few seconds, the screen will go totally blank, and then it will start playing a "preview" of the file. Theres no way to stop this or to turn it off. * Battery life is "iffy" - best results occur when plugged in. The wall-brick draws 36 watts max, so you can power it off of a Jackery powerbar. Also, the included power-supply is very bulky. For the price, this thing should just run off of USB-C. * The included remote-control is terrible for several reasons: 1- All buttons are shaped the same way, so if youre using it in the dark you cant distinguish one button from another 2- If you forget/lose the remote, the buttons on the top of the projector arent very useful. They are capacitive, so its hard to tell what youre pressing. Also, many functions are difficult/impossible to do without the remote. 3- Lots of input lag. * 32GB max on the USB and Microsd card? Called support regarding this, and they said "Well, it might work with bigger devices, but this is the highest we support". Get real! Nobody has cards this small anymore. This is a big limitation, and even their latest high-end 4k projector says 32gb max. Thankfully, most of the cons are alleviated if you just use the HDMI input, which works as youd expect. Given this, I love my projector and would probably get another one.

I normally dont write reviews for products but this little projector blew me away in terms of what it was able to do. Even though it is small enough to easily hold in one hand, I have come to the conclusion that the P300 Neo is the perfect projector for my entertainment at home and it can probably be excellent for business use, assuming a dim room. Its extremely simple to connect to other hardware as long as you have an HDMI cable and I was able to connect a thumb drive with pictures and videos and play them off the projector as well. As long as your files are in a file format the projector can read, you will have no issues! I reached out to customer support with some questions because the projector was not reading the first thumb drive I tried to connect to it and got an answer pretty quickly! All I needed to do what make sure I was using a thumb drive 32GB or less and to make sure the thumb drive was formatted to FAT32, so once I switched to an 8GB (was trying with a 64GB at first), I had no issues! Do not hesitate if youve been thinking about getting this -- Im glad I did and Im sure you will be too!

Install Flash Player Proprietary VGA adapter not included. I had to spend $20 to get it from the manufacturers website. I mounted it upside-down, which I think maybe the manual says not to do. The metal mounting thread insert slipped outwardly a bit, but I dont think it can come all the way out. Seems to be fine upside-down. It uses a standard camera mount. Some fan noise. Not bad though. I think the IR ( Infrared ) receiver is on the very back somewhere. You have to be directly behind it to use the remote. Room will need to be moderately dark to see the image well. I covered the windows, and we turn off the nearest half, and sometimes all of the lights while using this projector. There is no zoom or optical keystone adjustment on this projector. I would recommend adjusting the image by placement of the projector. I also recommend you avoid using the digital keystone, as this will result in horrible image quality on a moderate resolution projector such as this. See attached video and pictures for more details. Note that parts of the video go out of focus. This is my camera, and not the projector. Update: Threaded insert for mounting finally came loose after being upside-down for months. I used epoxy to secure it back in place and its been fine ever since.
