The very best Blu-Ray player I ever owned, and I have had many, the about of Internet selection is awesome and you hugh, set up super easy, overall Quality is excellent, small size and big value, plays all regions like stated, in 1080!! User friendly, remote easy and well laid out, plus the remote works with all current TVs and DVD players, Sorry Samsung, this a much better product, what were you thinking making a player without any lights to know if is on or off???

Great Blu-Ray Player works great! It can play my copied DVDs with higher quality! This is my first BD player after holding out for years, I finally jumped onto the BD bandwagon because HD-DVD failed, and HVC is way too costly @ $15,000 for the player and couple hundred per disc. For now I can watch my "Back to the Future Complete Adventures" on Blu-Ray!

So very easy to hook up. Unlike a previous "region-free" player I used, this one truly IS region-free and very easy to change zones AND regions. Also, it is wi-fi ready. Im extremely pleased with this BD player!

Followed the instructions for set up. Green light power comes on and then the system shuts down. Every time I try, same result ... so cant get past the power up portion because it only powers up 15 seconds (shows a blu ray logo, and then powers down). Sounded great, but will be returning.

I purchased this to replace an old Panasonic wireless Blu-ray that was kind of pokey, did not support close-captioning on certain streams and had certain apps that could not be upgraded. It mostly plays Netflix fine, though not perfectly. It is awful with Amazon (I can use pause 15% of the time, captions often consist of a bar that reads only "this is a sample of close captioning." It is awful with Hulu for some of the same and for different reasons. (And of course it does not have HBO go - but I knew that when I purchased it) I am chucking it and replacing it.

WARNING!!! Do NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! This item is NOT brand new and illegal item!!! As soon as I saw the box, I could tell that this was not a brand new. In addition, the item was not the model described on the site. It was a older model. The box had stickers all over it--is said "Region free DVD player..." I soon found out why--the sticker was on the every model number written on the box. The model number was hidden under those stickers. On top of that, this item is NOT AN OFFICIAL SONY PRODUCT!!! This product was originally a regular region restricted product. It was tampered and was made this product region free. See photos. Do not buy this product!

I ordered the used version of this item and was so disappointed to find out it was only 2.0 stereo. Id give all the region frees and blu rays to get my surround sound back! I had to return it.

I was really afraid this would not work on my zone 4 DVD of Dorothys Dance Party my disabled daughter loves. IT WORKED first try. SO SO happy. Everything set up easy the first time. I have the same model but for USA only DVDs. We will see if it will handle all day viewing better than the first one, it started making noises while playing. will resubmit in 3 months.

This is the worst blue ray player I have ever owned! Constantly doesn’t work. I have called in they fix it and then it stops working the next day. It’s been a royal pain and about to walk it out to the trash!
