The DVD player works good but every time I attempt to use netflix or amazon it tells me there is no internet connection. After a few reboots and setups (every time) it finally connects and works fine. Too late to return it and would not buy it again.

This is a nice Bluray player and I have no complaints so far. I suggest you ignor the claim you can stream Sony video games through the Bluray player by simply buying a Sony Dual Shock 4 controller. There is no distinction between two available Dual Shock controllers one of which is not supported and another older model that will allegedly work. I ordered and had to return both because neither was functional with the Bluray player.

Remote only operates certain TVs (not our Funai); not programmable with codes. Apps do not include Google Play, one of our primary sources of programming. Was advertised as including HDMI cable; this was false--no cable was included. Primary reason for buying was simplifying process of finding programming. We still have to keep the TV remote and the telephone on the nightstand, so all this did was add a third thing to fumble with. Why pay extra to have streaming apps on the BluRay player when you still have to have the phone there anyway? Just cast them all from phone. Silly. Its going back.
