Its perfect. We just needed a blu ray player because our Xbox One only plays blu ray disks one out of every 200 tries. Haha. The Sony Blu Ray player is super small, light and has such a great picture. It shipped quick and cane with an HDMI cable and micofiber cleaning cloth. Very nice!

Great little Blu Ray player!!! Its nice and compact and works great! Setup was super easy too! It was an even better deal because the seller threw in an HDMI cable with it so I didnt have to buy one separately. This has to be one of the best Blu-ray players out there!

Hangs up, locks up, buffers, locks up again... I have to unplug and reboot. TERRIBLE streaming. Good picture quality once it gets going (if it does). Takes forever... remote inputs kick in like a minute later. Bad product.

I purchased this Blu Ray player in July in hopes of replacing one that had stopped working. Unfortunately, I let the return window slip by. Not the cheapest Blu Ray player sold on Amazon, not the most expensive by a long shot. The Sony BDP-S3700 player offered me hope - offering features I liked at a price point I could afford. The packaging is nice, the player small, compact, and included the HDMI cable. The player was easy to setup/install and the apps are easy to use with the remote and relatively intuitive, but this player does not deliver. The disks rattle and roars while being spun to the point you can hear it from across the room, and streaming from the Amazon Prime app over my 5G WiFi and 60Mb Internet subscription, yielded a very disappointing experience. The video stopped, and started, stopped and started so many times that we finally stopped, fired the video up on my childs Wii-U and watched the balance of the movie with no interruption. Shorter video experiences were ok, but movie length streams from Amazon all sucked. Very disappointed with Sony.

Remote will not connect Sanyo TV, there are no number listed for Sanyo. Sanyo is not even listed in you setup page. Unit will not connect to X finite remote.

This replaces an older (7 years!) Sony blu-ray that tried to eat a blu-ray. It was easy to install although the interface for logging in to online options is tediously outdated. I’ve unplugged and moved it a few times without having to enter my password a second time. It does take a bit of time for a disc to be recognized- in other words, not as instantaneous as most folks would like...but not ridiculously do. I would take a half star away for the interface, but overall, I’m pleased.

Easy to set up if you have Wi-Fi it was easy to hook onto the Wi-Fi my problem is it has a tendency to Jump Around a little bit thats probably just me in my selection playing DVD or blurays will just go blank have to start over. Wont buy again Add on. If your wi fi blips as wi fi does machine goes out and wont restart itself. You have to do it. And this happens even when you are playing a DVD or blu ray

This player was not the easiest to set up due to poorly written instructions in small print. However, it was finally accomplished and put into use in July of 2018. The unit is so small and light weight that pushing the buttons manually is annoying because it causes the unit to scoot around on the shelf. The remote seems to be more useful for this purpose. However, the remote has tiny buttons that are difficult to find easily. It was used mostly for access to Netflix and Amazon Prime viewing, occasional bluray disc or cd listening. It mostly worked well for the above. But there would be occasional miscommunication with the wifi connection causing us to go thru a lengthy resetting process. We also had some difficulty turning the unit off without having to unplug it, which is difficult because it must be unplugged from the socket not the back of the unit. Today in trying to play a rental bluray disk this unit refused to recognize its communication with the TV. No amount of changing cables, resetting TV, Wifi modem or the Sony player would solve the issue. We continued to recieve "no connection recognized" message. Trying with an older disk player showed no problems with the TV, Wifi modem or the cables in use. Therefore, this Sony Bluray Player was determine DEAD. Not happy with only 8 months of use. Dont buy this thing.

The bells and whistles on a BluRay player are hard to overstate. I liked this one, but the lower right quadrant of the screen flickered.

Quit working almost as soon as I got it. Watching a movie on prime and it says file is too large and will be terminated few seconds later it stops working, restart, finish movie maybe. Now it wont turn on or off nor eject a disk. 91 days old today. Got to watch five dvds. Not a good deal. Disappointed with Sony.
