I cant fault the unit as it works well. With that said, whomever invented the remote control deserves a swift kick in the nether regions! All is well if you are playing a DVD, but the buttons are small and in the lower 40% of the remote. However, if wanting to use an APP such as YouTube you will most likely hate it and curse most every time you use it. The buttons are very small and far too close together, and for some ignorant and stupid reason these controls are at damn near the bottom of the remote causing it to be unbalanced in your hand, as most it will be out of your hand without being able to fill your hand, and I have small hands! I have many-many times accidentally backed out of the search feature or the video in YouTube because of accidentally hitting the wrong button, and a plethora of times having to have to get the cursor back to the selection I wanted for the same reason. All of this is a reason I would never buy this again, the same for any unit using this remote control, truly the worst remote control I have ever operated.

It plays nicely, but about 80% of the time when we first try to turn it on for the day with the remote, it doesnt work. So we have to unplug it and plug it back in, and then it works again. Didnt start happening until after the return deadline. At least it works, but its mildly annoying. No problems with skipping or freezing either. The remote works great, and the functionality is intuitive. But having to unplug it and plug it back in all the time is why Im giving this two stars.

I have had a lot of issues with the product and with the company itself. First, it did not come with the HDMI cord that it said it would. I had to contact the people and they eventually sent one about a week later but for a week I was unable to use the product. Two weeks after the return deadline, it started messing up a lot. I contacted Amazon and they appointed me to the company that sells the item. They were not helpful at all and not very nice. They said that because I was two weeks late I couldnt return it but I could get another one. However, they didnt go about how I would be able to get another. Ive had it for four months now and it is just gotten worse. It doesnt work. I cant watch Netflix or use Youtube. It pauses and freezes all the time. It is CONSTANTLY having issues. I always have to unplug and then plug it back in but sometimes that doesnt work. I checked to see if it was my internet connection that is messing up but it isnt. If I could, I would never have bought this product. I do not recommend it to anyone. If you are thinking of buying this product, do not. The company is not helpful and the product itself is terrible.

LEMON. Right out of the box, it has no power light, so you dont know if its on or off. It worked intermittently for 3 months and then quit altogether. I can load DVDs but no signal comes out of the HDMI cord. Its in the garbage can where it belongs.

It does not actually have any way to browse sites/urls on the internet. If it isnt a pre-loaded app, you cant get it. It says 250 apps on the box, but I can only find about 8. Without browsing capabilities, I dont need them so I did not investigate that further. However, the disc player is quite good, it plays discs my 2 other dvd/bluray devices spit out. It has HDMI, LAN and CoAx connections, so your A/V setup would need to accommodate that. The wireless works flawlessly. The Samsung help desk is quite useful and operates for a broad number of hours.

Do not buy this product. As pointed out by other reviewers, it has no power indicator light, which is very frustrating. Mine didnt work out of the box. You can get a better quality product for less money at Walmart. Samsung really dropped the ball on this one.

This DVD player is absolutely fantastic!! I had another one about 7 yrs old and broke it in my move south. I ordered another and was amazed at how small it was, maybe a pound in weight, extremely easy to hook up, and it plays both blue ray and regular DVDS perfectly!!!

This is a terrible product. There is no light associated with the power on or off button so you cannot tell by looking wether it is on or off. It gets to warm and starts shutting down and restarting on its own. The case itself gets so warm it should be considered a fire hazard.

Worked fine for a few weeks, then stopped recognizing my Wi-Fi and the tray wouldnt open. When I contacted Samsung support they told me that had heard several complaints about this issue. I had to shipped it to them for repairs. I dont have it back yet.
