It plays DVDs very well but weve had some considerable trouble with streaming services. Netflix will lock up, or hang on loading, getting stuck at 90%. Or if pausing a show itll lock up as well. Ive made sure its software is up to date and every other possible issue, but without resolution. Im really disappointed to pay more for an advanced unit and have it perform so badly for streaming.

Excellent product. It plays not only my North American region discs, but also my discs from England. The only problem Ive had, and I dont know if this is a problem of LG players specifically or not, is that the interface with Netflix hangs requiring me to shut down and reboot the player in order to get it to stream shows again.

We needed a DVD player which played DVDs from both the US and the UK and this Blu-ray player has successfully played DVDs from both. It is advertised as playing DVDs from other regions, but we have not had the opportunity to play DVDs from any other regions. We have not had it for long, so I cannot comment on the broader range of capability or its overall longevity. One minor complaint is it could use a more capable remote which supports a broader range of TVs.

So, after finding the instructions, (they were buried lol) Switching the BluRay regions is soooooo simple! This is a great player... except for the weird occasional tweeting it does which is why I gave it a 4

Wireless doesn’t stay connected for more than half a movie and there’s no Ethernet outlet to connect a cable.

Easy to hook up and works great and the fact that it has Amazon prime and Netflix is awesome

I gave up on finding a DVD or Blu-ray player that’s not cheap plastic disposable junk. I hit the jackpot with this one! Finally, a player that just works. And it’s a smart device, so you get all the Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and so in streamed right to your TV. I’m buying another one of these soon.

The only good part of this experience was how quickly Amazon set up my free return, which was complicated by the fact that I missed the return date by two days due to travel. Setup was more difficult than usual, but I tolerated it. The number of streaming apps was far fewer than with other Blu-Ray DvD players, but I tolerated it. All I cared about was that the player had Netflix and, as promoted, the MLB.com network. But after I had spent an inordinate amount of time setting up the player--no MLB.com app!. I never liked LG phones, and now that goes for its DvD players.

As we dont actually live in the U.S.A. we were advised that this would be the best choice. We purchased it and our son installed it about two months ago. We have had no issues, it was relatively easy to set up. The quality is great.

Great little DVD player. Does the job. I don’t really need all the fancy stuff it comes with, the WiFi capability and such but it’s there if the kids need it. I just need to play movies and it does that just fine.
