Printer works well for the first couple weeks. after that problems start. The printer becomes slow to print. The fax feature stops working. the printer WiFi option stops working. the paper starts getting jam. and when you call XEROX or the stupid 3 year protection plan ( which its a waste of money because they are going to try to do everything in their power to avoid to give you a refund) they will want to waste your time making you follow directions for over almost two hours to try to make the printer work and at the end they will offer to send a tech and charge you $58 for it.

This unit is a paperweight. Weve spent more in toners than on the product itself. Every toner reads that the toner is invalid even though they are genuine Xerox toners. Xerox does not care and will only charge over 200 dollars for one hour of maintenance which costs more than the total of the printer. I have 8 paperweight toners here at a cost of 59.99 a piece and a heavy worthless printer that my organization can not even use. Avoid this product like the plague.

The printer works... prints fast, no issues with quality of prints.... The setup was a pain, but I was able to get it on my wireless network. My desire was to be able to print wirelessly and scan documents to SMB. Neither of these features works. Every time I need to print I have to completely restart the printer, and it does NOT scan to SMB. The AirPrint feature does work, but you have to physically restart the thing EVERY TIME, which defeats the idea of quickly printing something from a mobile device and grabbing it off the press while heading out the door. Maybe this could be fixed by connecting it to the router via LAN, but that isnt a compromise Im willing to make. Not a good product, would not recommend!

The machine itself seems to be very good, but as other reviewers have said, setup was challenging. I expected the standard issues others have mentioned and I was able to connect to the machines web browser-based interface. The main problem was that I was unable to connect the WorkCentre 3215 to the WiFi from my Verizon FIOS G1100 router. Xerox customer support said there is a compatibility problem specifically with this router. Eventually, I found that turning off the WorkCentres "WiFi Direct" connection solved the problem and I was able to connect to the FIOS router. Apparently there is interference between WiFi Direct and routers WiFi. Other brands of printers may have a similar issue. I also set up the printer with a static IP address. Note that it is possible to turn off the Configuration Report from the LCD on the printer itself. Go to: System Setup > Machine Setup > Conf. Page, press "ok" and select the "off" option. One reviewer mentioned the messy toner during setup. Pull the plastic out of the toner cartridge slowly and it will minimize the toner that comes out. It is a good idea to do that step over something to contain the small amount of toner that comes out.

Worst printer I have ever owned. It has printed the unit reports on how much toner is left over 45 times. It jams on every print request. It does not take in the paper properly and jams throughout every order. The printer is connected and it keeps saying printer will not print and prints a report on what the printer has instead. I will be returning this piece of junk. This was was first xerox printer and it will be the last. A total piece of crap.

I needed a basic reliable printer and scanner for a work-from-home situation and this printer seemed like a very affordable option. When I can get it to work, it does a suitable job. But right off the bat I had to spend hours with the installation/set up, first on my own and then with multiple phone calls (many of them dropped or disconnected mid-call) to Xerox technical support, and was still unable to get the WorkCentre 3215 to connect to my newer Dell XPS13 and my older MacBook Pro. After about the fourth unsuccessful attempt to get help with this I was finally transferred to someone in 2nd level software support who was able to resolve the installation and wireless connection issues by logging on to my PC remotely. However, two months later I continue to have intermittent connectivity issues which are sometimes solved by rebooting my PC (as suggested during yet another call to technical support), sometimes not. Two days ago (outside of call hours) I tried to scan to my PC and got a cannot connect message. I rebooted both my computer and the printer (which has to be almost force shut down, by the way - simply pressing and releasing the power button once does not turn it off) and could not get the scanner function to work. I then tried connecting to my PC with the USB cable and still received the same error message. This morning I spent about 15 minutes on hold with Xerox, had the call dropped, called back once more and then, after starting to problem solve with them, found that - surprise! - the scanner was working again. So if you like unpredictability and frustration when it comes to being able to print or scan, and enjoy automated phone systems and bad hold music, by all means - make the purchase.

Cheap product. After scanning approximately 75 pages, the multipage feeder stopped working. Very cheap material used in this product. Save yourself the stress of having to buy a replacement, buy spending a bit more money for a better product.
