I do like this printer and got a good deal on it, but my patience is starting to wear a bit thin. The quality of the prints and the mechanical performance of the machine has been solid up till now (coming on 2 years as of this review). But its one of the quirkiest printers Ive ever dealt with as far as networking and wifi. If you plan to do wireless printing via a network, the most reliable and stable method Ive found with this printer is the Ethernet cable method (via TCP/IP address). Wireless connections via wifi direct, WPS, SSID, PIN or whatever method are too unreliable and seem to go off kilter after awhile and it just stops responding. Sure these things happen with wireless printers, but it shouldnt happen as much as it does with this one. After so many times it gets tedious resetting and/or find another connection method to see if that does the trick. So if it acts up again, I"ll probably go back to Brother. My last one lasted well over a decade and still worked, but it was mono. UPDATE (May 2018): Finally had it with this thing after 2 1/2 years of disconnecting and acting up. Boxed it up and just going to give it away. Bought a Brother 3170CDW and works like a charm. Should have done this in the first place. Lesson learned.
