Holy moly. This is the printer of the photonic future. Beep beep. Connects automatically, like freaky, like to my firewall wifi router with no password... But this thing prints incredible photos. I mean amazing. Check out the pic, those are 8.5" x 11"... absolutely stunningly crisply sharp. And its great on toner, I printed atleast 60+ high def photo quality prints on gloss (maybe more). Water doesnt make the toner run/melt either. I cant say enough about this thing. Diamond in the rough.

I cannot go on enough about this printer. I mean it. Worked straight out of the box and its flawless. TIPS: 1) Ditch the cd drive. Didnt need it at all and it slowed me down. I tried to follow it and got stumped. Its not user friendly. But these days you dont need all of that. I set the cd down and asked my computer to find the printer and just download the driver. It was set up within 30 seconds. 2) To pair it with your wifi, use the menu button on the machine itself. Hit the menu button (looks like a paper with bullet points) and use the up arrow to get to "Admin Menu". Hit ok and use the same arrow to get to "Network". Hit ok and use the arrow to get to "Network Setup" and hit ok. Choose your network name and hit ok and use the arrows to enter your password and save it. Trust me: Even though it takes time to type in your password this way, it saves a ton of time in the end. Trust the process. 3) There is an issue that has the easiest work around ever. Sometimes the computer will say the printer is offline after the computer auto sleeps overnight. This also happens with my iPhone using AirPrint. I use this printer exclusively wirelessly for every device. The only wire is the power plug in wall. Workaround: On the right side of the unit there is the power switch. Flip it off and then back on and all of your devices will see it again. Seriously. Its that simple. Personally I turn my computer, backup hard drive and the printer off every night, but most people dont. If you simply flip it off and right back on in the morning, youre good to go for the entire day even if youre not printing constantly. Buy this... dont hesitate. Its amazing. Fast. Sleek. And just the best printer Ive ever had.

I love this printer! Works with Windows and Linux (Havent tested OSX or Android/Google Print.) If youve been unsatisfied with inkjets, try a nice high quality laser printer! Makes a world of difference! I can throw 300+MB images from the gimp at it and it just chews through them. I dont print a huge amount, maybe 10-20 pages a week, mostly letters to friends and envelopes. You do get barely-visible lines running through pages with full-page images -- its not quite film quality but its good for proofs and for sending photos to friends and relatives. The text is crisp and clear. The toner wont bleed like inkjet ink will when it gets wet. In the spash test I did, water beads on the surface of the image and doesnt soak through to the paper. This can sit on a wifi network if you have one, which is how I set it up. It picks its address up with DHCP and the Linux and Windows drivers do a good job of figuring out where it is so they can print to it. You set the wifi credentials up from the front panel, which is a bit clunky but you only have to do it once (At least until you change your wifi password.) The only thing I regret is not getting a second tray for it when I purchased it -- I print enough envelopes that itd be nice to have a dedicated tray for that. In fact, I think Ill order one now that Im thinking about it!

This printer is REALLY good. I switched from ink to laser because powder ink doesnt expire as fast as ink...I dont think it even expires. I like the format of the printer. It doesnt have a duplex unit, but is no big deal to take papers and then just put them back in the tray. I use it in my home network. I have it connected to my router to share with laptops and directly to my desktop. You cant use the wireless option if you have it connected to router. I just feel is more secure, and faster, to have it connected to my router. It was a BREEZE to set up! If you are using windows 10 I recommend you download the "Phaser 6022 CD package download" from XEROX. Make sure you choose Windows 8.1 and the right bit format for your system, 32 or 64 bit. The google cloud print feature did not work for me. However XEROX and GOOGLE engineers are working to solve the problem! I recommend you update the machines firmware as well. Make sure you call XEROX and register your product for warranty purposes too. You can save ink by going to PREFERENCES > IMAGE OPTIONS tab, at the bottom of the IMAGE OPTIONS tab youll see Draft Mode, you can select how much ink to save there. Just save as default and every time you print it will save you ink! GENERAL LINK [...] LINK for WIN8.1x64Bit [...] Once there you can choose any other system version you might have.

This printer has surpassed my expectations. First of all it is extremely easy to set up (am a Mac user, I thought I must add), the page feeder is nothing complicated, like others Ive had before. It has a very simple and user friendly combination between the selection buttons and LCD screen. What is second but not least most impressive is the quality this printer has to offer, wether its black and white documents or color pictures, you will be surprised with how neat and bright the colors come out. To top out these great features we have one last thing that I think is also crazy about this printer, the price. It took me a few weeks to decide if I wanted another inkjet printer, laser or I dont know what other technology printer to buy. I had always bought HP and Epson printers, but was willing to give another brand a chance, I am so glad I did. I would recommend this printer any time.
