I was iffy about buying this after reading all the reviews saying the images printed dark. The trick is to make the image lighter on your phone, do not edit within the app. The picture on the left was made brighter within the app and the one on the right was edited on my phone first. Love this product.

This is a really fun little printer! The print quality is good and suited for the purpose of instant photo gratification. If you are expecting studio quality prints than this probably isn’t for you. But, if you’re looking for an instant camera to print photos at parties, for crafts, and to get your pics out of the digital space then give this printer a try. You can edit photos to your hearts content in the app prior, and because you are using your phone camera the picture quality/zoom/colors come out nicer than with a point and shoot instant camera. The paper is more economical than other instant camera options, around $22 for a 50 pack of paper. Some advice. Make sure you scan the QR code on the back of the box and download the correct app, “Polaroid Zip” NOT the QR code from the instruction booklet- it is outdated and the app doesn’t work. The Correct app is called “Polaroid Zip” its black with a rainbow icon for iPhones. There are two versions in the Google Play App Store, if you download the wrong one you won’t be able to print! Overall we are really happy with our purchase.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. We were very pleased with the print quality, which I was happy to hear that my husband thought it was pretty good too, considering he is an advertising photographer. I guess it is really all about what you EXPECT to get compared to what you ACTUALLY get. Some people set themselves up to be disappointed. We had no preconceived notions about this device, nor did we get our hopes up for the prints to come out amazing. Really, for $100, it just seemed like a fun little gadget to have that hopefully would print halfway decent. And THAT it does! I was very happy with how these first two photos printed. I added a sepia filter (there are filters, stickers, borders, etc. you can add from the ZIP printer) to the photo of my dog and I, as well as a couple of stickers. The other one, of my husband and I, was printed as-is from my phone. The printer does come with a few photo sheets to get you started, but I didn’t count them before I put them into the printer. (Although I read on another review that it comes with 10.) I highly recommend the ZIP printer. It’s a relatively inexpensive way to bring the nostalgia back to taking photos and actually holding one in your hands, rather than just looking at a bright screen. Oh, the photo paper has a sticky back too, should you want to slap the photo you just printed onto someone’s forehead or something.

Install Flash Player This is a nice little battery powered mobile printer that prints your photographs from your tablets or phones that use Bluetooth. It has apps available for Apple products and Android products. Loading the paper was fast and easy and printing out photos is simple. I show how to load the paper and print photos in my attached video. The printer comes with a very brief instruction manual that doesnt contain any detailed technical information. There is a QR code that you can scan to get the app for your smart device. The printer comes with one pack of 10 sheets of Zink, Zero Ink, paper that you load into the printer. In my past experiences you will lose you photos quickly as your friends will take them from you for themselves so buy some extra paper. There is also a 31 inch charging cable in the box to charge the internal battery of the printer and it will charge in about 1.5 hours. You can use any USB wall charging source, your computer or your cars USB charger. Printing a photo is fast and easy and you can also edit them using the free app. I show some of that in my video. This is a good small printer and I rated it at 5 stars. The only two cons that I have are that the instruction manual is very limited. This seems to be a common issue with Polaroid equipment. The second issue is that the printer disconnects from the Bluetooth connection in a very short period of time and I had to reconnect several times while making my video. When I say short and mean in a few minutes it was disconnected. I still rated the printer at 5 stars as reconnecting was fast and easy and I assume that it disconnects quickly to conserve battery power. I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation. A review was not promised to the supplier in exchange for the sample but I stated that if I provided a review that it would be fair and honest.

I will start off by stating that I read alot of the reviews for the Polaroid Zip Printer before I purchased one. I did decide to buy one and I could not be happier. I read alot of negative comments on picture quality but I have not encountered that at all. Some say not to edit in the Polaroid app, but again, no issues editing within the app for me. Pictures come out wonderful! I have also printed pictures edited and enhanced in photo editor apps and again they come out great. Take the time to get to know the app, and the printer. My only complaint if there is one, is the battery life Is a bit short. But I dont see that as an issue either. Just use a power bank to power it use it away from home. Most people have one of those these days. I didnt expect much from this printer going into it, but I am very pleased with ease of use and picture quality. I would purchase this again.

I did a lot of research on printers and by far this is the best to buy. The reasons are endless, but the app and the printer makes beautiful pictures. There are so many options from boarders, adjusting lighting, resizing, rotating, collage and the list goes on and on. This little printer does more than a big one can. Another added bonus is the picture back peels of to use as a sticker or put on a magnet for the office pics. I use my planner also like a memory keeper of the day to day happenings. So when I can grab a quick pic of the grandkids, in the moment, on my phone later in the evening I print the perfect size and stick it into my planner. Now I am not letting little moments slip away. Nor do I have to drag a photo album out to see it. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this printer and will be giving them as gifts this year to family and friends. 10 Stars and all thumbs up!

Ok, I really dont get why so many of the people hate this printer. It is mobile printer, doesnt need cartridge, you just need to buy zink paper and it prints. Some say colours come too dark, well, make it little brighter before printing. Application is not that great, but it does its job. There are litterally hundreds of applications, that can help you editing your pictures, than put your in pollaroid app and just print it. For me this is really nostalgia thing, i have used polaroid camera in my childhood, and its instant printig was really amaizng. I have few of pictures hanging in my album. So i think, you should buy this printer, if you want want to print small, sticker pictures instantly and share them with some of your friends. Want better quality pictures? go print them with proffesional printers.

I got it for scrapbooking and a travel journal. Dont expect high quality and res prints, its a tiny mobile printer after all. If you want high quality prints, mobile printers arent what youre looking for. I did extensive research to compare between the Polaroid ZIP, Instax Share, HP Sprocket and Kodak and image quality, yellow/reddish vintage-like hues and lower res images seem to be the prevalent complaint. I settled on Polaroid because the app allowed collages and white frames for the polaroid effect. It seemed to have better options than the other apps. Youll need to manually lighten or brighten the photos before printing as they print a little dark than what youll see on your phone. It takes some getting used to. Just revert the photo after youre done printing. There was a lot of negative reviews on the app that apparently made it unusable or clunky to use but they have a new app or updated version following the bad reviews. Look for Polaroid Zip app which worked fine for me printing over 20 photos in multiple sessions for my scrapbook.

I got this device cuz i liked the concept of a portable printer that you take on the go. Also the fact that u get a quick zero ink pics., i really wanted to try that. I was not desapionted, actually i like this printer alot and my friends around me all go mouth open when they see it working. So heres my experience in this product so far. - I already left the seller a great feedback since this item got shipped in the same day ordered even though i had a free (5 to 8) days shipment on. So thank you alot. - The printer is very user friendly. U dont really need a manual for it. As long as you have NFC in ur phone. Or bluetooth. Just connect it. And itll open the app. Automatically, or take you to the app market to download the free app. - The app. Itself is kindda slow and needs alot of tweeking but gets you the job done. It also have alot of options and editing tools which i was surprised they were included, anyways this is a review of the printer not the app. (I would give the app. A 3 stars though, you need to check the app. To know what i mean). - Okey so i opened the box and found the free pack of paper in there ready to be put inside. This is probably the only tricky part of this whole thing. Once you put the paper inside as shown in instructions on the pack, you are ready to go. - Just NFC the printer with ur phone and the app will open. Choose your options, edit, and customize your picture then click print on your phone. The pic will come out like a rabbit being pulled out of a magicians hat, leaving the crowd anxious to see the pic, and experience the (zink) Ive been bragging about XD. My cons. to this product, and why its 4 stars instead of 5. Well dont expect to see the same picture in your vivid and lively colored phone screen coming out of this printer. I mean its portable after all and it got its limitations. The pics tend to get a tad reddish by default. Although you can tweek this through the app. Its still annoying and you could waste few papers (a pack of 20 for 10$) on trails.Ive added a pic that might show you the difference. Oh and if you are raeding this. Dont edit the pic, and fit it FULLY in the app. Leave some frame to it in the app. Unless you dont care about it getting cropped a bit. It also shows in the pic attached. Hope this was helpful :)

The Polaroid Zip printer is a neat little toy! The reason why I say toy is because if you want stellar prints from this printer then you are not going to get them. Dont get me wrong this printer is fun to play with and the app (which is now newly updated) works pretty well. The Zip uses 2x3 ZINK adhesive photo paper. ZINK is a technology that allows to print without the use of ink. I had the previous version of this model, the POGO. Polaroid has really stepped up their game with this model. The nice slick design and mobility of the printer is great. The photo quality, while still not amazing, is still tons better then the original POGO. I am excited to see where this technology goes in the future! I fully recommend this product to anyone who wants to easily make cute printouts of photos from their smartphones and not expect professional grade prints.
