Ive been considering purchasing one of these printers for a while now, but finally decided to go for it after seeing posts from a wedding - I recently got engaged and thought this would be the perfect way to print off fun wedding memories, and I was not disappointed! The printer itself is sleek and compact, the perfect size to throw in my purse, which makes the quality of the photos it prints all the more impressive. I wasnt expecting such crisp, high-quality images, but all the ones Ive printed have come out looking just as good as they did on my phone screen! The quality of the product is evident, even down to the laminated instructional booklet, and the entire augmented reality photo/video concept feels like the perfect cross between the cute aesthetic of tangible, polaroid photos and the fun and ease of customizing the image AND having all of the action on video! The printer required almost no set-up, all I had to do was power it on, sync it to my IPhone using bluetooth, and load the film. I thought the film might be a tad difficult to load (Im coming off of my experience with a number of old and newer model polaroid cameras), but all I had to do was open the package and pop it right in. It came fully charged so it worked right out of the box. The app was easy to find in the app store and super simple to navigate and work with - I immediately got lost in deciding what to print first! You have the ability to choose 11-second long videos and pair them with a still image (which doesnt have to be from the same video), as well as add effects, stickers, drawings, etc. to the image you print. Watching the image come to life in the app is the best part, and I love being able to record the moment to post or send to friends! The print time is super quick and the adhesive back on the zinc paper eliminates the need for tiny frames or strings of photo clips - Ive been sticking the prints right onto the wall! It might be a small thing to note, but I also love that the adhesive backs on the photo paper doesnt peel off easily on its own as it means you can keep them as regular photos if you want to throw them in something like a memory box. Overall, I have loved my entire experience with Lifeprint and am SO looking forward to printing off amazing memories from my big day and everyday in between!

Install Flash Player I bought this without a lot of reviews, so I wanted to add my own two cents. I got a Me and My Big Ideas Happy Planner for my birthday, and the spaces on the pages are perfectly suited for the photos printed from this kind of printer. I also wanted to be able to print pictures on the go for travel journals. I had almost hit “purchase” on another printer when I stumbled across LifePrint, and was so excited by the AR feature I bought this instead. The AR feature no longer prints a username, just the LP symbol, and I haven’t noticed significant glitches when trying to play back my videos. My friends I’ve showed it to love the concept and now they all want one too! I will probably get one for my friend for her wedding guestbook. Like I’ve seen in reviews of many of the printers that utilize a cartridge-free ZINK system, the color saturation and clarity can be a problem, and this is really my only complaint aside from occasional connectivity issues and double-printing of photos when there is a connectivity issue. I’ve found the color issue to be very variable. Pictures tend to print a bit on the dark side, but I edit my photos outside of the program by lightening them up, and have had great success there. It’s a tiny portable printer, I didn’t expect super high-quality pictures. I haven’t tried the social sharing aspect of it because no one else I know has the printer or the app, so I can’t comment on that aspect. Overall very happy with my new little toy, and paper is cheaper than some of the competitors too! Attaching a video to see the Hyperphoto in action!

I love this idea and saw it work in the store really well. I got it as a birthday gift but whats great about it is its portability but there is no on/off switch so if you take it to where you are going, the battery is dead by the time you get there - also the top comes off so easily and then all the film falls out. I think I will wait until the next generation to buy this again.

I really didnt have high expectations for this, just wanted to see if was any good - and now I LOVE it. Im terrible with technology, but this app is so straightforward I had no problem using it! The instructions are clear and I had no problems setting up or printing my first photo. I went from downloading the app to printing a video in less than 10 minutes - and that includes printing and unpacking time. I also love that you get to pick which part of your video is the cover photo for printing. The video is also so clear, I didnt think it would be as high quality as it was. I wasnt sure about this at first, but Ive had the product for a few days now and absolutely LOVE it!

I love this printer. Simple, easy, and portable – plus the design fits right in with everything else on my desk. As someone who never deletes a photo on my phone I wanted something to keep my memories in physical form so I can actually see them every day at work, and this printer delivers. The ability to embed videos in the photo with the Hyperphoto element is also super cool, and Im not going to lie its really fun to watch peoples reactions when the photos come to life. In terms of setup, the printer came charged and ready to go and I was printing my first photo in a few minutes.

I have the smaller version of this and I absolutely love it. So I decided to try the bigger version. Ive had just as much fun using the bigger one. I live in Oregon and so Im always hiking where nature photo opportunities are all around you. As a nature photographer, I appreciate the detail that comes out in the photos. There are all kinds of effects and ways to edit the aspects of the photos as well. If you are someone who is always taking photos and wants an easy way to print them out without having to go through some retailer and depend on someone else to make sure the quality is right, you need one of these. Seriously awesome and budget friendly!

I bought this as a gift for my partner for his upcoming themed birthday party. It was a success, he and everyone loved taking pictures and then having pictures come out. We installed the app on both of our phones and logged in with the same account so that either one can take pictures. Its like your little photo booth. Few things that were not perfect, but did not affect our overall opinion. 1) pictures tent to come out kind of dark, so before printing in the app, you should increase exposure. 2) Keep it plugged in because if it gets below 15% charge, it will wait to recharge a bit before printing again.

The physical product looks good but the iPhone app sucks completely. It not worked by one week or more and I could not use the printer, in addition, the app is slow, crash frequently and it can not load when there is a lot of photos. I recommend prefer buy another product for printing photos.

This is a super cool gadget. It was easy to get started and really cool. The printer itself came with a set of film, and all I had to do was drop it into the printer. Once I got the app, I followed the directions and printed out a video photo. It looks like lots of people are already using their app. The photo printed out just like an old Polaroid, and I put it on my fridge. Its a cool photo, but even better: when I use the app to view the photo it comes alive and looks like a video. Its very cool... like Harry Potter in real life. I think it will be fun to use for vacation photos and other memories that I want to store as a picture, because it will have the added benefit that when I view the picture some time in the future through the app I can see a video. It will really bring the memory to life.
