I purchased to replace a Xerox Mfc that was still working fine just old. I work in the IT business so I know what to look for. I read all specs and reviews and reviewed specs on Lexmarks site. Printing is good and speed is good. They claim network scanning ability but that does not work. You can scan over a network to your computer but you cannot scan to a network folder. Also you have to initiate the scan from you computer, not good if you have several documents to scan. Also does not scan to PDF and if scanning a multipage document it creates a jpg file for each page. Tiff & PNG is not acceptable file format in business where everyone has a PDF reader. Probably should have sent the unit back

For setting up the WiFi, you are asked to download the LexMark app. The App cant be started because there is no way to accept the terms and conditions. The other option is to setup via the keypad. There is no indication where the space character is. I called Bangladesh for tech support and after 30 minutes of trying to explain what the space character is, I figured it out on my own.

This printer packs a punch with all of its loaded features. Its hard to find a high-quality printer with all of the features this printer and all in one offers. No more trips to the copy store for color duplex projects. Excellent quality output for high resolutions jobs, and adjustable resolution for day to day printing, duplex scanning, and our faxing needs. Its a larger size printer, more height than width. Setting up was a breeze. I highly recommend this printer.

The lack of help line is also horrible. I have spent about 1.5 hours total on the line. This printer is supposed to scan, but they have not been able to figure out how to do that. No icon is on the computer screen to control the printer. Unless things Improve I will return this piece of junk.

I would have given this printer 5 stars if it were not for the sometimes confusing documentation. Ive had it for 5 days but had it connected to my WiFi and printing from several computers within a few hours. Over the weekend I kept puzzling over using the scanner to scan a document into my PC. The Users Manual only refers to accessing "scan profiles" from the menu but there is no scan profile in the Web Server menu or the front panel menu. Finally, I discovered that I could simply use Windows Fax and Scan to do it but I still plan on calling Lexmark support to clarify the User Manuals instructions. What I suspect is, is that they have tried to write one user manual to cover about a dozen different models and things got so abstract that its not very useful. But that aside, it looks like a great printer/scanner/copier. Still dont really understand how the toner exchange program works but that will come.

The few short months the printer worked was great (we bought it in December 2018, it stopped working in March 2019). Then we got an error code of non-Lexmark imaging kit out of the blue. We called customer support several times and after 3 attempts from their repair technician at our location over of the course of 3-4 weeks, we still have no working printer and the same error code after shipping the same replacement parts for each site visit. Never did they offer a replacement printer. Instead of wasting any more time dealing with customer support, it is actually cheaper for us to buy a brand new printer from a different brand.

We tired of cheap inkjet printers, with expensive ink and low reliability. So after much consideration, we bought this color laser printer. It is much faster, print quality is excellent, and I believe the cost of toner will end up being less than the cost of ink plus replacement printers... this unit is built to last. The only downside is we havent figured out how to scan from Windows 10. Scan to USB works great, and we dont scan enough to be greatly inconvenienced.

It work, but not very clear instructions. Scanning doesnt seem to be able to do in adobe format. I called tech support, but found a google search to be more informative than the support line. The support line does not seem to know their own products or basic scanning formats at all. Price was decent and it works REALLY fast which is nice.

Would have given it a 5 but I had a problem with the wireless and called tech support and they had to escalate it to next level. Never heard back from them. I had it replaced and is working perfectly
