HP OfficeJet 200 Portable Printer with Wireless & Mobile Printing (CZ993A)

This is an amazing printer. Set up took less than 5 minutes. Every printer Ive owned was a pain to set up but this.. I started printing right away. No instructions needed. Its super light and tiny. Prints super smoothly and fast. I read some answers that it needed wifi to print... I simply turned on my mobile hotspot and connected my tablet and printer to its network and began printing right away. (Also downloaded the apps)

The printer was easy to use and portable. Started to malfunction after 4 months, and finally would not work. Unable to find anyone to help, or determine if there was any warranty period. Seems like the open box claim on Amazon is for used equipment, and tries to imply you are buying new products. I would appreciate some direction on how to get this printer fixed.

dont buy this printer if you are running Windows 10 because it will not work with it! This is apparently an old printer and the software has not been upgraded to work with Windows 10. I returned it and have yet to find another product that will work for me, but then again, I havent really looked because I am not traveling as much and dont really need a portable printer right now. This printer was a major disappointment as I was counting on it to get me thru an extended summer trip and it never worked.

I got the Canon and man it was a nightmare. All of this downloading drivers and blah blah blah blah blah doesnt recognize network blah blah blah blah blah. This thing I just plugged it in and Put in my Wi-Fi password and every device in our house work done it without having to do anything. It prints nice and fast.

I work in remote locations, often with no internet service, and bought this for my business, so I could print checks, forms, etc., on-site. I absolutely love the fact that I can print documents from my Dropbox through my phone with WiFi Direct. It does require installing the print drivers and HP software on your phone but the install process was pretty straightforward and I was up and running within about 10 minutes. The quality is decent for an inkjet (Im spoiled by my nice laser printer at home) but I certainly cant complain. I highly recommend the padded hard-case for it. I am a bit concerned the ink cartridges wont last very long, given their small size, but well see!

This little printer was such a good value. Ive had to realign the cartridges a few times to help with the color prints (you can see some faint lines when it prints a chunk of one color) but for what Im using it for (printing small photos for a happy planner) its been totally worth it. I also love that its mobile so I can move it around as I need.

This was exactly what we were looking for: a small, portable printer to go with my mom for a stay in assisted living. I love that its wireless or USB. I was concerned about connecting it to the facilitys wireless network, so we went with the USB. Now that shes home, it has seamlessly connected to our home wireless. I cant say anything yet about the expense of the ink, because we havent gotten that far. But its lightweight and the battery seems pretty durable. I would by it again.

I am in heaven. I upgraded from an Hp OfficeJet 100. Setup was amazingly easy. I was not previously able to use my 100 wirelessly. Would just not work, no matter what patches or HP assist I tried. I had to be physically connected to the printer from my computer. Not so with this model. Finally wireless!! This 200 model is such a pleasure to use. Very fast, color is excellent. I can now print from my iPhone, and iPad as well. Very, very happy with this purchase!

It didnt work out of the box. It would never connect with WIFI. HP tech support were unable to get it to work either. I returned it and ordered an Epson. It was probably a refurbished unit from a third party-I really dont know. I noticed the serial number and other bar codes covered with white labels as if to hide something. Not much else I can say. HP offered a replacement for the same price but I wasnt doing that.

I like this printer because of its portability. I sometimes visit relatives out of state and take photos of them and Im able to provide photos for them on the spot.
