It worked for 3 months, and now I have had problem even to print with usb cable... piece of junk
This printer has hd numerous paper jams in less than 2 weeks of ownership. HP support sent a "refurbished" unit per their "policy" I would not recommend this product to anyone and will not accept refurbished
Everything started off fine. I used the instructions that came with it to install it and connect to my wireless network for wireless printing. It worked. I used it to print once and made a few copies. I did not use it again for a few weeks. Next time I go to use it I cant print wirelessly. Fine. I dig out the special usb cord that came with it and try to connect. Nope. Wont print, wont be recognized by the computer. I uninstall the software and disconnect everything and start over with the install. (It is ridiculous that this doesnt work via plug and play to begin with). I finish the install for wireless setup and it doesnt work. Try with cord, doesnt work. Uninstall everything and go through the setup again specifically for a wired connection.......nope doesnt work. I ordered this printer and waited for about a month for it to come back in stock. It finally comes and I go through the install process that shouldnt be necessary to begin with and it works for one day. Next time I need to print is about a month later and it mysteriously doesnt work now and my return period is up. Great...................
Extremely difficult to install and print, even though using HP toner and drum. Had it for two months after purchase, contacted several tech providers for assistance and they also found it impossible. It appears that all the problems are due to HPs imbedded requirement for authentication. Since there was a previous owner, there was longer a recognized certificate and no longer eligible for service. WE are left with no ability to get it to print, whether connected to the computer or wirelessly. DO NOT Purchase from HP SOHO Consumables. Information provided was useless.
My printer refuses to maintain a secure, reliable wireless connection to my network. I have contacted HP support multiple times to resolve the issue, and every time it is seems to be fixed, it resorts back to its previous state of not being connected. Not only is the wireless connection very unreliable, the USB port connections are also very unreliable. I would not recommend this product for anyones future purchase.
