Recently, I purchased the HP DeskJet 3755. I originally began researching what printer would be the best fit for my printing needs, I looked for one that was compact, versatile, and durable. I, being a college student, needed a printer that could easily fit on a desk but also had many uses and could withstand the occasional printing. Once I bought this printer, it seemed to be a perfect fit for my needs. After some use, it seemed as though this printer is the ideal printer for occasional printing and for anyone with limited space. With this printer, the best features include: • It’s size. This printer is 17 inches wide by 4.5 inches tall. This makes it the ideal size for a small space. • The type of actions it can perform. It has many different functions. It can scan, copy, and print, both in black and white and color. It also has the ability to be used via USB cord or Wi-Fi. These are features that are not typically found in a printer of this size and price. • Lastly, it’s ease of use. There are limited buttons on this printer and setup via USB was very quick and painless. You simply have to follow the prompts on the computer and can typically print within 10 minutes after beginning setup. The main downfall to this printer is the speed of printing. It takes approximately 15 seconds to print one full page in black and white and much longer in color. Due to this, I would not recommend the HP DeskJet 3755 for anyone who heavily uses their printer. Despite the printer’s speed, it’s positives definitely outweigh the downfalls of it. If you are in need of a printer that encompasses the features stated above, this is definitely the printer for you.

What primarily drew me to this printer was it’s compact size. I would describe this as a light-use, convenience printer/scanner. If you’re like me who doesnt print or scan much but still would like to have a machine on hand when needed, this will work just fine. As for looks, the design is clean and even nice to look at. The power supply is integrated inside so theres no bulky “power brick” attached to the power cable to clutter up the floor. There is also a USB cable option in case you don’t want to use a wireless connection. Unlike other multifunction printers, the scanner uses a feeding mechanism instead of a flatbed. I was a little wary of this at first but it scans or copies with good quality. it accepts various sizes of documents from full-size 8.5x11” to smaller pieces of paper like receipts or photographs. Considering it uses rollers to feed the document I’d exercise caution with brittle or fragile paper like old family photos. Print speed is about “average”. Color on regular settings on plain paper will take about 10-20 seconds and black and white about half of those times. Regular black and white text documents will print quickly. Higher quality photo settings with color are the slowest. Id recommend a better printer if youre looking for faster and frequent photo printing. The ink cartridges are small so this is definitely not a high capacity printer. As i stated earlier, if you infrequently print from time to time this will be sufficient. If you’re really worried about needing more ink HP sells high capacity cartridges. The wireless has worked flawlessly and was easy to set up. Ive found printing directly from my iPhone is SLOW. One standard print, even in black and white took almost 3 minutes. I usually never print from my phone but it’s nice to have the option.

Right out of the box it was one problem after another. First, the printer wouldnt connect on a 5G network (the network I use for my home computer)... so I had to switch my home computer to another network if I want to print. Second, the printer had a very difficult time finding my network. Took about a half a dozen times before connecting. Once these issues were resolved then the color ink cartridge that was included with the computer didnt work. So now its on to spending at least 20 minutes on the phone with HP support with someone who does not speak clear english. .... After about a 30 minute call they told me to buy a new color cartridge. When I told the person I did not want to purchase a new $25 color cartridge when I had just purchased a brand new printer, they told me that was the procedure because they were not sure if it was the cartridge or the printer that was defective (that rationale still doesnt make any sense to me). That was HPs "help." Its that kind of crappy customer service that will have me going out of my way to NOT buy an HP product in the future. I had the printer less than 2 hours before I had to box it up and return it. I just want to print out some plain, basic documents over my home network. Didnt think that would be such a hassle.

this product looks and works great except for one important thing, it purposefully wastes your ink so you have to buy more. I cant figure out how to stop the printer from printing a page with updates after my computer downloads an automatic update, instead of sending me an email or a notification on my computer, it prints the update... waste of ink and paper. or, if there is an issue with the printer, instead of communicating it to you on your computer, it makes you print an info page in color, to know the issue, again, WHY are we being forced to print instead of receiving this information via email or notification? I was then forced to print again hours later because of an issue that I did receive a notification about. Does HP think we arent smart enough to figure out that theyre purposefully wasting our ink? Ive had this computer not even one day and so far Ive already had to print 10 pages of things which has eaten into my ink stores. Returning unless HP can offer a solution.

I was amazed of the size of the printer when it arrived. I am able to print ,scan to my photo album and copy documents from my IPhone. Relatively easy to set it up; just follow the instructions. It definitely reached my expectations !

So I needed a printer because I am too often going to Staples to print out pictures for my scrapbook. I did my research and decided the HP Deskjet was perfect! It needed to not only be compact but cheap, nothing too expensive. I read the pros and cons and decided to take a chance. I am thoroughly happy. The color is so pretty, it is compact enough to fit on my desk and it came with detailed instructions (which made it easy to install). Now, I understand some of the flaws: 1. It does take some time to print out a picture or a document. Like...20 seconds? 2. I have to turn off the printer and turn it back on whenever I want it to connect to my computer. 3. The picture quality is good, as long as I edit it before hand (like make the picture lighter or sharper) 4. It isnt quiet but it isnt loud. Its a printer, lol you cant expect it to be quiet like a mouse The Pros: 1. The instant ink subscription seems fair for someone like me who doesnt constantly use a printer. 2. The sizing is perfect 3. Simple set up 4. Just connect to a power cord and youre ready to go. 5. The printer has its own email so you can print anywhere! I mean, idk how Id use that but I guess it could be helpful for some. I really enjoy this printer. Sure, I wish the quality was better but It does do the job. Just edit the pictures so they arent so dark, sharpen the quality, and youre ready to go.

I held off writing a review for this printer until I had some experience with it. I can now say I would recommend this as a light duty, inexpensive printer. I have had no problems with either the print quality or the wireless connection.

I love this printer. It is very compact which is why I purchased it. The color is great too. It prints at a decent speed. For a home office/kids school work printer, you cant go wrong.

I waited all day with my blinds open watching for the mail lady to come so I can have my new "toy". Ive had it two hours and I already love it! I have been able to print some emails I have been saving for a year and I was even able to print my grad school acceptance letter. Printing from your computer takes longer to set up than printing from your phone but I did both installations, printed a diagnostics page for the printer, and documents for personal records in less than an hour. The power cord was hard to plug into the back of the printer but its in there now. Print speed is slow as per some reviews have stated but that honestly doesnt affect me. My main need for this printer is school as I start online classes next month. Ive never had a printer like this before so it is a nice change. Im overall very happy with it and seagrass is such a pretty color! :)

I thought this was going to be great. It was cute, it was compact enough to fit in my tiny home, and it offered to do everything I needed it to do. The first one I purchased was a lemon (print cartridge holder would not move into an accessible place when I opened the door). I sent it back to replace it. I should have known then to find something else. I have wasted more paper and ink (an entire black cartridge) trying to troubleshoot, set up, and/or calibrate this printer than I have been able to actually use to print things I needed to print. Any time the printer is shut down, I have to re-connect it to the network. Sometimes (like today) it takes a lot of fiddling to get the set-up software to work. At this stage in technology, one should not need to re-set-up a printer just because it was turned off. The network is the same, my laptop is the same. This is absurd. The print quality is poor, at best. Its streaky, sometimes blotchy. Calibration is so tedious and time-consuming as to be utterly impractical. (Print out a page of lines - about a dozen or more different groups of them - answer questions about each group, print out another page, repeat ad nauseum until youve decided to use someone elses printer somewhere else.) Ive printed more pages at my local FedEx store than on my own printer which Ive owned for a year. Scanning is a very manual process. I knew this going in, but the printer offers very little to help guide the paper into the scanner. Ive routinely ended up with large blank areas at the top of my document as the scanners wheel spins while not taking in my document. It also goes sideways very easily. Im going to dump this pile of junk and try to find something else that works and fits on my tiny shelf. I do not recommend this printer to anyone.
