looks better than on pictures. Really love the idea that you actually can charge it using usb port. The quality of pictures is good enough for someone who cares about having memories. I bought it to print old pictures and in case if I forget to grab my camera, I could use it to print pictures taken on my phone. I had no problems with the app. Everything worked. Havent updated my ios tho. So maybe if you want it to work, you should not update your phone

This is a huge hit with the teenagers in my household. We bought an Instax Mini camera last year, but we can rarely capture good photos on it. They are nearly all washed out or out of focus. It is also difficult to bring the big bulky camera along on trips. My kids love that they can snap photos on their phones and come back to print "Polaroid" photos. We have had no issues connecting to the printer. Weve downloaded the app to our smartphones, and it has worked perfectly every time. Highly recommend!

I love this little printer! It is much more convenient that carrying around an actual instant camera! I get very nice pictures without the worry of wasting the expensive instant film. I love having the ability to print photos on the go for other people and I love having an actual photo album of these pictures because now-a-days everyone just keeps digital copies on SD cards and flash drives that will never see the light of day again.

This is totally fun. I have the instax neo90 instant camera, but I wish I had just bought this to start off. Its way more convenient to just take pictures with your phone wherever you are, so you dont have to haul around an instant camera and take every picture twice (once with the phone, once with the instant camera). And you can add filters, images, text, etc. The quality of the print depends on how old your film is, so dont stock up too much. I would recommend buying it as you need it. Also, one thing that tripped me up is that you have to have location ON on your phone for the printer to pair and print pics.

I returned the printer that was defective and decided to try one more time in hopes I would be sent a functional one. It worked! I love, love, love this little printer. Its really easy to use and the photos come out great. The only thing I dont like is the app that you need to use to print the photos. It glitches constantly and you have to re-download multiple times. Still, I think its worth it for such cool quality photos. Review from receiving defective product... I was really looking forward to this but unfortunately it arrived with issues. As soon as it was plugged in I could tell it wasnt charging based on the red blinking light. I tried to adjust the battery, charge the thing overnight, but nothing worked. I was sent a faulty/returned item Im sure. After reading some of the glowing reviews I decided to spend the money and go for it but I was not so lucky. This may have been a one off but I would make sure you keep all the return packaging for this just in case.

I love this printer. I have tossed away so many pictures taken on my instax camera due to poor lighting or poor composition. This printer has taken the guess work out of instant photography. It is compact and easy to travel with. It has a rechargeable batter and it is very easy to set up. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to use this with the app. I have an iphone 6s and it works perfectly with the app and the printer. Make sure that when you print you select the WIFI printer option. It is not bluetooth enabled.******** update August 2018 it also has been working perfectly with my iPhone X

I have galaxy 8+ with android 8.0 version. Following only the instructions in the package did not allow my printer to work. Follow the instructions but make sure your location setting is on! You will have trouble finding the printer without it.

You gotta love the irony of this printer. Back in the Polaroid days, that camera was gold because you could take a picture and see it instantly - I mean how amazing was that in the 50s? But now, we have digital cameras that shows us the pictures instantly and can print billboards in very clear quality, but we love a printer that lowers the quality of the photo and shrinks it from 20MP to like .25MP. I love this printer. I had the camera version saved on my wishlist for the longest time but never liked the idea of taking a picture that 1. could come out like crap and then film was wasted and 2. could come out amazing but I cant print it again. This was a really nice solution for me and I more than welcome the extra step or two it takes to get it up and running to get clean, clear pictures each time. It may sound ridiculous, but most of the time I take a photo using my Leica Q ($4k full frame camera), transfer it to my MacBook Pro, post process in Lightroom Classic, upload the photo to Google Photos, download the photo on my phone, connect the phone to the printer and get a nice little printout of whatever I just took 1.5 hours ago. Maybe thats a bit over the top, but then again so is the Q in it of itself. I dont really have any negative thoughts about the printer, the film, or the kinda old looking slightly janky mobile app. It all just works, which these days, is more than enough for me. Highly recommend.

My reason for 4 stars was only due to the fact that I purchased this item on 11/24/18 and just began using it this week so the longevity of the device has not been proven yet. I feel a star if not more should go to how something holds up. As for the item I love it so far. The photos come out much clearer and crisp than they do from the actual camera which I also own. I believe this is attributed to both the fact that you can do some minor editing with the printers app and that your phone is taking better pictures than the Polaroid camera. Though they are nicer the photos still have that great old school quality as the camera photos do. I love that look and purchased this as a means to achieve it on some of my older photos stored in my phone and various clouds. In regards to the app it was super easy to install on my Galaxy S9 and works seamlessly. There is a few seconds between sending and printing but nothing inconvenient. I was able to print 20 pictures in what seemed like 5 minutes or less. The phone and printer found each other quickly and there was little to do in set up. I have used it now on 3 separate occasions with no technical issues at all. As I said some editing can be done via the app such as filter, contrast adjustment, frames and typing which is nice (I fee there are a few more things but this is what I actually tried out when editing). It seems to hold a charge well as I have only charged it once and used it 3 times without having to recharge. Not sure about charge under conditions outside of what I did which was printing of several pics at a time. The size and look of the printer are exellent. The printer is about the size of a small tablet maybe. It should travel easily as it weighs little. There are indicator lights along the front to show battery info, photos left in film role and charging info. The app itself also tells you how many photos are left on your role. Overall I am really happy with my purchase as it allowed me to access older photos and print them in that cute "throwback" manor the photos come out of the camera. I was able to create a more complete display using pics from 2006 AND 2018. Outside of longevity at this point I would and have recommended this item to others as I find it fun and useful. It is not a NEED item but it definitely fills my WANT category. If you can afford a little splurge and like the look of those instant camera photos like I do buy this printer. You will not be disappointed.

Bought this for my daughter at Xmas . She was very excited. But when she tried to use it 6 weeks later it wouldn’t work right. It keeps spewing film. Costly and wasteful . Then app says printer had no film. I personally loaded a new pack to make sure it was loaded correctly . Same thing happens: film just comes out when you turn on the printer. But app says printer had no film and won’t print. We have wasted multiple packs of film . I do not recommend this printer!
