WOW - this includes a b&w and color ink cartridges! I got this for a total of around $40 (after the $12 off coupon) and am so impressed. YES, it comes with ink. Setup was easy and fast (less than 30 minutes, including connecting it to wifi printing. I printed a test page from my macbook air (no wires - Yaaaaay!) and its crisp and clear. Great value for everyday printing.

If you are looking for an affordable printer to print every once in a while. It comes with one black and one color cardridge. It’s wireless, and I had almost no connectivity issues with Mac and Windows. However, if you are volume printing, I don’t recommend it at all. For ref, the black cardridge that came in the box lasted about 50-60 pages.

I am happy with this printer...so far. My macbook setup was easier and my iphone setup a bit more difficult but after I downloaded the Canon printer app from my applications, I was able to successfully finish the setup. The setup process is accomplished via the web. I have now printed from both my macbook and iphone. The printing process was quick.

Just needed a small printer for very basic jobs. Didnt want anything expensive or with too many bells and whistles, just a wireless connection. Setup was relatively easy - connecting to phone went by without a hitch. It took a couple tries from my PC but it still wasnt much of a hassle. For $40 I really cant complain about anything - if you just want to print on basic paper every now and then, this is really all youll need.

Setting the printer up for phone usage was somewhat easy, though not entirely painless. However, setting the printer up for wireless usage for PC usage was so frustrating that after 40 minutes of effort I finally decided to just use the USB cable to set it up that way instead. The software was installing, please wait for 15+ minutes with no progress bar in sight. I finally cancelled the software installer and clicked troubleshoot. Well, when you click troubleshoot, Canon apparently thinks its perfectly normal and you should just continue to wait. And thats all it says. VERY helpful.... Luckily, Windows finally decided to randomly recognize the Printer via USB, it just took a few tries. Maybe the software or driver partially installed enough for that to happen, Im not sure. However, now the printer is informing me that my black ink is low.... Ive printed maybe 10 pages at most (from my smartphone) and they were NOT ink heavy pages at all. If you were to write a page of text and print that off, that would have used probably three times as much ink as Ive used. I dont think Ive ever owned a decent printer in my life and this one is no different, but at least with the others I could get their basic functionality working within 15 minutes. Ive spent well over an hour with this one just for it to work over USB. Buy at your own risk.

Received everything in good order and it works as expected. Doesnt have any real bells and whistles but for $40 who is complaining? Came with ink so that was nice and I have used the smartphone copy feature multiple times which is very useful. Prints without problems and effectively, I calibrated it and hooked it up without any hiccups, and I can recommend this as a cheap printer. I have gotten burned with issues from cheaper printers and disappointed with the cost effectiveness of more expensive ones for my needs and this fits perfectly in that sweet spot.

MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE WAITED FOR THE SETUP WAS WORKING CORRECTLY, BUT A FEW POINTS, BY THE WAY IF YOU GOOGLE ONLINE IF THERE HAVE BEEN PROBLEM REPORTS, HOWEVER, THIS IS LIKE U.S. TELLING THEY HAVE FOUND THE WEAPONS OF DESTRUCTION IN IRAQ. THE MANUAL IS INCORRECT AND IT USED THE SET UP FOR THE WHOLE PIXMA TS 300 SERIES, THERE ARE SO MANY INCORRECT STEPS TO SET IT UP. GOING ONLINE, YOU ARE TOLD CANON HAS HELP FOR YOUR PROBLEMS FOR $5 . HERE TO, I WILL FINISH THIS REVIEW, BY, MFG. WATCH OUT I HAVE TOO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS, I FOUND ALL FLAWS.

It did print clearly but would not connect to the wireless network even after 45 mins of phone support. was returned. If you can connect with a usb cord, not included, its an acceptable printer for the price.
