Very lightweight and a bit noisy due to that fact but thus far does the job effectively. I did not expect much from such an inexpensive printer but its much faster than my now defunct old Epson. Cannot comment on ink usage yet, but will return to edit. Copies are clean and clear. I did not want to invest in a scanner/printer combo yet but needed a new printer in a hurry and this one was priced right.

My more expensive Canon Pixma MG7120 stopped printing, but still scans. I never needed the wifi feature. Since it still scans, all I needed was printing only. This TS202 filled my need perfectly. It arrived yesterday. It was exceptionally easy to set up - I did the set up with the included cd. I will point out it does NOT come with a USB connector. I used the one from the other printer. But you can get them cheaply here at Amazon. This TS202 is a printer only - no scanner, no copier, no wifi. That being said it prints very well. The text comes out much more cleanly and sharper than the much more expensive MG7120. I even printed an 8 x 10 photo on Canon Pro Luster photo paper (its matte photo paper with just a bit of glossiness to it). It didnt want to print when I chose to print with any of the photo paper options, so I set it to print on paper. At that point, it did print onto the photo paper I had loaded and it printed the photo out beautifully. So if you dont require wifi, scanning or copying, I would highly recommend this printer. Fortunately the scanner still works on my other Canon, and I dont need copying, so Im covered. Im retired and use printing only for personal needs.

Easy install. Took me 5 min. Did not use the enclosed disk. I find it easier to plug and play. Printed a test paper, looks good. I really dont print that much but, I do need to print stuff once in a while. As for noise, she is a little noisy. My last printer (an HP 1512 all-in-one was very quiet, lasted 3 yrs before she bought the farm).. This is a basic printer nothing more, nothing less. works for me.

It does what it says--print and its "ok" at best. But truthfully, youre paying around $30 for a printer so you cant expect much. Its loud when it prints and it takes up more desk space than I thought it would. I had to replace the ink cartridges almost immediately and I wasnt even printing anything ink heavy. So do yourself a favor and either get another printer or buy a set of ink to go with it to save yourself the trouble. Id swear the ink was less than half full when receiving it. Im using this printer for my small business and it put me at a halt for the next few days (while I wait for new ink to arrive) because I ran out of ink and the printer refused to print even when a small amount remained in the container. Thanks Canon. #sarcasm

Easy to use, easy to set up, although it DOES NOT come with the required USB cable. Not a big deal considering the price. Good print quality, fast and can be shared over your network, makes up for lack of WiFi

It’s an inexpensive printer, and it works great! Seems like a good value so far. I’ve printed off about 20 pages so far and everything has come out just fine.

I dont know the print quality since Im unable to install the printer. Apparently its sold without the USB cable which is NECESSARY to set up the freaking printer. Im so mad right now. The instructions which accompanies the printer tells you to use the cable found in the pack with the instructions, but the box tells you that its not included and guess what, ITS NOT INCLUDED!

I have been printing checks using a PC and printer for a very long time. I have been using small HP brand printers which have been reliable in printing input information consistently in the proper location, until the printer ultimately ceases to function after some years of use. I had decided not to purchase another HP unit after the black ink cartridge would not print properly on my last one, even after cleaning and replacing the ink cartridge. Since a new HP would not be utilizing the same spare ink cartridges I had already purchased, I decided to try another brand. Using this Canon model turned out to be a horrible experience for my purposes, due to the excessive noise that it produces prior to and during initial paper feeding. It begins with 3 very loud clicks while it prepares to feed the paper, then 1 very loud slap as it feeds the paper into the machine, which would cause you to believe that something has broken inside, although it operates normally. The other frustrating issue is that no matter how many test printings were performed to assure that the check information would align properly, using blanks then backing them up to an actual check and appropriately adjusting the template, the text would always align differently from the blank when actually printing on the check, which resulted in several voided checks. After one such instance, a ruined check was reprinted several times after readjustment of the template to track the changes until proper alignment was achieved, only to print in a different location on the next check. If such precise alignment is not an issue and the noise is not concerning, this printer may then be adequate, considering its low price. As with most ink jet printers, replacement cartridges are as expensive as the printer, so given all the testing I have done to get this thing to align, I find myself to be already needing a replacement color ink cartridge. Instead, I will get rid of the printer and have already purchased another HP brand.

Bought this printer to replace a more expensive printer. Easy to hook up. Recommend this printer. The last one I bought like this lasted years. Cant beat the price.

I had an old HP printer that wed had for years. I got a refill set or refurbished ink cartridges when needed. I shopped around when it died and found it was almost impossible to do that these days. Then I found this printer. It was a great price, I could set it up with a disc for my desktop or with an inexpensive cable for my laptop easily and it can take Insmax or other refurbished cartridges as well as its own! Yes it is noisier but I dont care about that so much. I HATE the idea of being forced by a machine to buy its ink when it says. I am not smart enough for smart equipment--or I am too smart to support them.
