I received package on time and in good condition. After unpacking and setting up according to instructions, it fed approximately 2 sheets of paper of without issue. Then it jammed. I cleared jam as indicated. Still no success. I cannot find any paper jam in the machine. It will not pick up any paper, unless I gently force feed it one at a time, and then it takes 5-6 times of feeding it through one page at a time. I bought it for my insurance business and it is a complete waste of money. I cannot get it feed paper. Makes a loud clicking noise, and then pushes paper back out or it pulls it in half way and jams up. This is my 2nd canon printer.. my first was a lower end model that I never had a problem with in 4 years. So upgraded to something faster. However, this printer does not work at all.

Beyond frustrating. I have yet to actually print anything out of this printer. It keeps throwing error codes as paper jam ink cartridge issue among other things. It will not thread any paper through it. I am beyond frustrated and upset. I should have known that the price was too good to be true. I will continue to fight with this machine until I can get something out of it because I need a printer that is capable of doing something. I wish I could put more words into it but without using colorful language I am kind of stuck at it sucks. Update * so after literallt letting this thing dor for 2 weeks. I really needed a few documents printed off. So i went back at it. I found that a plastic piece was not snapped into place causing the jam. This couldve happened in transport I guess. But then it started printing double letters to which I had to clean the clear strip with alcohol. Which did fix the issue. Doesnt seem work with samsung print. Only the canon app. I am sure the printervis a decent printer. But christ o mighty the hassel.

This is a great, small printer for a home office. Its hard to find a white printer and one that takes up little space. I wouldnt recommend it for huge printing jobs, but it works really well for scanning, faxing and copying needs in your home office.

Just dont do it... I know the price is great and the you only need it for occasional use. But I would venture to say that occasional use is probably fairly important right? For me it was a mid-term for my MBA program. I needed to print my exam and then scan and submit as a PDF within 3 hours. Right off the bat, paper jam. Then..paper jam. After 15 minutes of fighting with this Godforsaken machine I got all 17 pages to print. I may be able to let that go as an isolated incident but when it came time to scan my completed exam, catastrophe. Strike One, it doesnt pull the papers in the correct order. Strike Two, it starts pulling papers in sideways. Strike Three, the the scanner jams with page 7 of my midterm crinkled within. FML. I probably wouldnt have written a review had that been the end of my printer woes but as of late (less than a month into owning this thing, Ive probably printed a maximum of 30 pages) the printer wont load pages correctly it keeps pulling paper sideways and jamming. This is a classic you get what you pay for, yes it checks all of the boxes in what you need from a printer (wireless, color, multi-page scanner) but Im telling you this printer will let you down and most likely it will let you down when you need it most. So, just dont buy this thing. Spend a little extra and get something else.

Like everyone else, this was sooo frustrating to set up. I still dont think it is set up correctly. I am unable to scan using the document feeder. Finally got it to scan to pdf format but then could not get a cover sheet to fax the doc from the computer. Using the fax app that came with it allowed a small msg on a cover sheet. Unable to print a receipt yet. Will have to spend more hours figuring that out. It prints slow. Printed doc looks good. It is likely I would be happier if set up was easier. 1-29-18 Update: returning printer. Chronic data transfer issues stop print jobs. The controls are so small on menu very difficult to operate. Weird keyboard to enter numbers/letters. I gave this printer a good try.

It took me awhile to get this going wirelessly, but I found a video that walked me through the set up and that helped. It is very nice to be able to print without all the wires. Good quality prints, too. I havent used the scanner or copier yet, but they will come in very handy. I expect I wont often use the fax feature. But it is nice to have. Glad I went for it and got an "all-in-one". The quality seems to be as good as my former HP printer and the cartridges arent any higher in price.

Great printer, came with detailed instructions on how to set it up. Came with black and color ink cartridges, you just have to insert them in the printer (so make sure you dont throw them away, theyre inside the box, look for them). Quality of printing is great, no complaints here. I did have to use a wired connection (via USB cable that I had to purchase separately), but its because I was at school and couldnt connect to a school network (school network doesnt allow to add printers that easily, you need a tech person/administrator), so I dont know how wireless connection would work. For me it didnt. But Im ok using a USB cable to connect with my laptop. Scanning, copying works great too. Very happy with the purchase. For a price, this is a great deal for such a nice printer.

This is good for small print jobs. Everytime I want to print over 5 pages (Which is common as a college student since I will have to print out my papers and reading assignments), the ink decides to stop. I still have a nearly full cartridge of ink and it stops half way and just releases my half empty sheet. You will have to print in increments of 1-4 pages at a time which can be time consuming if you are in a rush.

Mmmmkay...I have printed exactly TWO pages on this printer. They looked good. On my third page I got a paper jam. There is no release so it is holding on to this piece of paper like the jaws of life. You can’t really reach in to retrieve the paper without touching something that apparently even the slightest touch will break the printer and make it malfunction. There is a place underneath you can almost get it but not really in fact I don’t even know why they bothered. So I have a printer with a paper jam, I mean no big deal right ? Printers get paper jams sometimes. I went online to see how to handle this minor inconvenience and guess what their solution is? Just guess....you’ll never guess. The solution is...that I have to TAKE IT TO THE REPAIR CENTER....FOR A PAPER JAM!!! I do not have a special paper jam, it’s just a paper jam. Is it me or is that freaking Ridiculous??? There aren’t even any YouTube videos on how to do it yourself I guess because it is that poorly designed. Don’t most printers have a release? The ones I have owned did. Oh and p.s it wasn’t overloaded with paper either, I had ONE piece in it! No joke one piece
