By far the worst printer Ive ever owned. Havent even had it a year and already wishing I could just throw it out. From day 1, all black and white text was printed out smaller proportionally to the page than it appeared on the computer or tablet. All black text was fuzzy, regardless of size or style. Always looked like someone forgot their glasses trying to read it. Despite spending countless hours trying to realign, clean heads, etc (tried every single maintenance option, searched online, tried every fix...) it would never print clearly. Always has trouble connecting to my phone or computer, takes at least 5 or 6 tries for print job. Paper jams ALL THE TIME. Ink is very expensive and does not last very long at all (only lasts as long as it did because I never use this printer, because its always such a time consuming hassle) It takes FOREVER to print a single black and white page of text. Made me late to class on multiple occasions for taking 10 to 15 minutes AT LEAST to print 5 or 6 pages for class.... Just absolute crap. Only 6 months after purchasing this piece of junk, it now wont load paper, so virtually useless at this point. Also very confusing set up for ink and all the other awkward, flimsy compartments on it. Do not purchase this crap. Theres a reason its on sale for half off all year round... Because it sucks.

I wish I could give this printer a zero. Ive had it for about two years and, I implore you, buy anything but this wretched piece of garbage. It is worthless and infuriating and is only good for testing your patience. So unless youre in the market for a large-ish piece of black plastic to sit on your desk, you might as well go take your $44 and spend it on fireworks. Youll get much more bang for your buck. Literally. As I type this, I am just yanking my eighth or ninth piece of "jammed" paper out of this piece of junk. Im trying to print one sheet of paper. One sheet! This should take me seconds. Instead, EVERY TIME I use this thing I end up spending fifteen minutes figuring out how exactly to hold my mouth right to get the thing to work. I wish I was the type of person who cussed because I could cuss this sucker a loooong blue streak. Seriously, save your money.

This is a horrible printer. It paper jams continuously and I have had more frustrations with it than I did with my old reliable Cannon.This is just impossible and the view area for info is dark and what you can see is no help what so ever. OK it was cheaper than others but some of the reviews were great that is why I purchased, such a big mistake! Please do not waste your money on this.

I received package on time and in good condition. After unpacking and setting up according to instructions, it fed approximately 2 sheets of paper of without issue. Then it jammed. I cleared jam as indicated. Still no success. I cannot find any paper jam in the machine. It will not pick up any paper, unless I gently force feed it one at a time, and then it takes 5-6 times of feeding it through one page at a time. I bought it for my insurance business and it is a complete waste of money. I cannot get it feed paper. Makes a loud clicking noise, and then pushes paper back out or it pulls it in half way and jams up. This is my 2nd canon printer.. my first was a lower end model that I never had a problem with in 4 years. So upgraded to something faster. However, this printer does not work at all.

Just dont do it... I know the price is great and the you only need it for occasional use. But I would venture to say that occasional use is probably fairly important right? For me it was a mid-term for my MBA program. I needed to print my exam and then scan and submit as a PDF within 3 hours. Right off the bat, paper jam. Then..paper jam. After 15 minutes of fighting with this Godforsaken machine I got all 17 pages to print. I may be able to let that go as an isolated incident but when it came time to scan my completed exam, catastrophe. Strike One, it doesnt pull the papers in the correct order. Strike Two, it starts pulling papers in sideways. Strike Three, the the scanner jams with page 7 of my midterm crinkled within. FML. I probably wouldnt have written a review had that been the end of my printer woes but as of late (less than a month into owning this thing, Ive probably printed a maximum of 30 pages) the printer wont load pages correctly it keeps pulling paper sideways and jamming. This is a classic you get what you pay for, yes it checks all of the boxes in what you need from a printer (wireless, color, multi-page scanner) but Im telling you this printer will let you down and most likely it will let you down when you need it most. So, just dont buy this thing. Spend a little extra and get something else.

Like everyone else, this was sooo frustrating to set up. I still dont think it is set up correctly. I am unable to scan using the document feeder. Finally got it to scan to pdf format but then could not get a cover sheet to fax the doc from the computer. Using the fax app that came with it allowed a small msg on a cover sheet. Unable to print a receipt yet. Will have to spend more hours figuring that out. It prints slow. Printed doc looks good. It is likely I would be happier if set up was easier. 1-29-18 Update: returning printer. Chronic data transfer issues stop print jobs. The controls are so small on menu very difficult to operate. Weird keyboard to enter numbers/letters. I gave this printer a good try.
