Decent printer, especially for it price ! But as a heads up to future buyers, be aware that this printer is not wireless and that a printer cable is not provided in the box. So make sure that you have one readily available or pick one up prior to purchasing this. luckily I was able to find this cable from my previous printer. Also, color and black/white ink cartridges are provided inside of the box, which is a huge plus! Overall everything is in working order , and I would definitely recommend others to give it a try.

For less than $50, I bought an all-in-one printer where you can scan, fax, print and photocopy. It accepts regular paper as well as card stock. It takes up very little space, is lightweight, easy to set up, and produces a quality image. While it is not wireless, it conveniently plugs into any USB port. Recently, I purchased black and color recycled cartridges online in the event that I run out. My experience with recycled vs. new toners has been very good. I can absolutely recommend this Canon printer.

Makes more noise than what seems necessary, paper is ejected slanted everytime and I have to physically pull the corner of each sheet from the printer. The color alignment process does not complete. Some colors are out of the lines. Spend a few more bucks and get a decent printer.

For a $20 printer/scanner it works great. I have not scanned anything yet (other than the test page during setup) but the printer works great. Comes with CD for setup, or (like I did) a link for online setup. Does come with a printer cable, but its only 3 ft long. So did purchase a 6 ft to make things easier. Also, another way to save money with this is to buy the XL cartridges (buy a 2 pack, its cheaper in the long run) and just refill them. Havent messed with it too much yet, but what I have printed was perfect

Great little printer/scanner combo. It meets my basic needs and has held up well over the last few months. However, as others have stated, it DOES guzzle ink. Stock up.

This is a bare bones printer and a low cost. Its working okay, but seems to go through cartridges more than I think it should since I dont do a lot of printing. It makes loud grinding noises also which alarms me thinking its malfunctioning. So far so good.

So far Im enjoying my printer. Ive only just set it up and printed two photos but boy, was it tough getting there. Physically setting up the printer was easy. There are only two cables (power cord and USB, both included) and ink cartridges to install. Also, the printer itself is very lightweight. The troublesome part comes when installing the software. I spent two hours trying to troubleshoot several issues before being able to print and Im still not sure of all my settings are correct. The first problem came when aligning the print head. I followed the instructions on screen and in the online manual but never reached any kind of confirmation that the print head is aligned properly. I decided to move past the alignment troubleshooting and try to print some pictures on photo paper but when the print settings were set correctly to print on photo paper, the printer couldnt register that there was photo paper but did register when I switched the settings back to print on plain paper. I think that killed the quality of my pictures a bit. Overall, Im pretty happy with my purchase but also frustrated because Im not sure if the software will fail in the future. Update: the black ink does not dry when set to plain paper when printing on glossy paper. After some research, Ive found that many cabin printers are not capable of printing on glossy paper larger than 5x7 (this one doesnt pri t above 4x6) and I think that is my issue here. Disappointed that this is advertised as a printer that can print out the n glossy paper but the limitations is not disclosed.

The printer is cheaply made. It spits out 5 pages of paper to print 1, meaning you have the paper tray constantly. Text is constantly smeared even though I use the "Business Document" setting along with the "High" quality. I cannot print in greyscale as everything comes out just a thick black line with no definition. I tried to print out a 5 page document earlier today. The printer spit out 23 pages and only of 3 of them were legible! Every time I turn it on it sounds like it going to fall apart. I will never buy Canon again!

I got this printer as a bonus gift with my purchase of a Canon Rebel T6i DSLR. I bought the camera a month ago and still have yet to crack this beast open. All in all it was nice that they give it to me for free but there is one main gripe that holds this bad boy back - they dont include the USB cable with the printer. I honestly dont understand; its like selling sushi without the chopsticks or teapots without the handle - how do you expect us to use it? So if any prospective buyers plan on purchasing this sleek and portable printer, do yourself a favor and add a USB cable along with it, lest you just want to keep this as a trophy rather than actually using it. TLDR: portable, cheap, prints photos and documents, DOES NOT COME WITH USB CABLE

What a crappy printer! I change the ink after a few printed pages. The pull out tray is so cheaply made I am sure it will eventually snap. Sorry I bought this ink hog and am already looking for another HP printer. As of now will not buy another cheap Canon.
