So of course I had reservations about this product after reading all the reviews about how hard it is to set up, isnt truly wireless, cant print from other devices, etc. Soooooo I just got this printer delivered and hooked up last night and found it extremely easy, but I do have to say, the manual that comes with it is not very helpful. My husband and I went directly to the Canon website and there is literally a how-to video on how to set up everything from start to finish. I literally had it set up and working in less than an hour. So complaint # 1 squashed. Complaints # 2 and 3 kind of go hand in hand. So using the how-to video, we set the printer up directly to our in-home Wi-Fi. If you have an internet connection and you can connect to it with your phone, tablet, etc, your Canon printer will connect to it too. You just have to put in your Wi-Fi password directly onto the screen on the printer using the alpha/numeric key pad. Not hard at all. Complaint # 2 squashed. Then we test printed from my computer, which is the main computer in the house, my husbands lap top, (which he did install the printer and driver on his laptop), printed fine. We test printed from our phones and that worked too! And we didnt even have to install or download Apple Air Print or any of the other aps that the reviews mention. Because we set it up wirelessly to our Wi-Fi network and our phones are obviously on the same network, we were able to print without a problem. Complaint # 3 squashed. Now with all that being said, I do think this printer is better suited for at home use than in a busy office environment. Im used to large heavy duty Kyocera 3 in 1s that are much faster than this machine, especially duplex copying and scanning. But for a compact machine that can do all these functions wirelessly?? Its amazing for at home use or use in a small office. I love the product and am extremely pleased with my purchase! You cant get better for the money!

Has all the features that you would need in an office environment. Incredibly fast first print is out in under 5 seconds even if it is the first print in the morning. Dupleax printing is really great. Cannot fault the printer with anything. ?Great buy.

I tried Epson, Brother, hp. Sent them all back. TOO Slow! Had a Canon Maxify and loved it but it ate ink. Apparently, Canon fixed this. I do copying, fax and scan it and this machine is so fast. I finally got what I was looking for. Scans fast, Fax fast, Copies fast, print good. Holds a lot of paper. I downloaded software, but you have to go into your computer and open the file. I needed to call in but had it up and running so quickly. My search and returns were finally over.

Canon image CLASS MF269dw (2925C006) All-in-One Laser Printer, 2018 Model with AirPrint, Wireless Connectivity and 30 Pages Per Minute, Low Energy Consumption and High Yield Toner Cartridge Option Available. This talented printer, by Canon, a leader in its fields of operation, will print at speeds of up to 30 pages per minute, with the first print available in approximately 5 seconds. It will support various mobile solutions, including Apple AirPrint, Canon print business, Mopria print service, Google cloud print; will enable the user to connect mobile devices without a router by using Wi-Fi Direct. It offers 6-Line, black and white touch LCD for easy navigation. Its paper capacity allows for 250-sheets in the standard cassette, 1-sheet in the multipurpose tray; all-in-one functionality allows you to print, scan, copy, fax with ease. Well, printers are apparently designed to start getting cranky around the three year mark, and my previous one did so. Told me it couldn’t print, then did. Also my previous printer lacked the capacity to fax, which previous ones before it did; I missed that ability. So I can fax again. Canon recommends this item for small offices and busy homes; what with my Amazon work, I do a lot of printing here. However, mercifully, this printer’s footprint is not much larger than previous ones. It fits on the same corner of my desk just fine, although it is of course noticeably taller than previous ones. Of course, owing to my age, am not as computer-savvy as some people might be: as ever, I needed my computer guru to help set the thing up. We hit some roadblocks, particularly in setting up the scanning function. So installing the thing was not that easy, but once operational, wow. Speedy, no muss, no fuss, no bother. Though there is, to be sure, a learning curve.

Overall, this printer is doing the job we need it to do. As many have noted here, there is a learning curve with setup and use. Tech support, once you reach them, are very helpful, BUT: They have limited tech support hours (10:30-6:30 M-F), the tech support is essentially unreachable on Mondays - wait times of an hour - and there is no online chat tech support available. I dont understand why Canon is so stingy with tech support. To go over the functions: Printing is easy to do and problem-free for us. We dont experience the text print quality as too light; we dont print graphics, and we havent yet used two-sided printing in the month weve owned this. Copying is also problem-free. Faxing works as expected. Scanning is harder to set up, and we still havent figured out how to scan multi-page documents, but we will probably get to that in time; did I mention that theres a learning curve with this machine? So, Pros: it works for us in all basic functions, is quiet, a small footprint, and can probably do a lot more than we will ever learn to do. Cons: Not simple to learn, tech support is not as available as one would wish.
