Easy to set up and operate. Holds lots of paper and has a window so you can see when the paper is getting low. I have only used it for less than a month and ran through a couple of reams of paper, but no paper jams or other problems. Excellent copies, faster and quieter than the Brother machine I replaced.
I visited many office supply stores and checked what type of fax machine they used to send commercial faxes. Most of these fax transmission stores used the Canon FAXPHONE L190 Monochrome Laser Fax Machine Duplex Printer. So I figured out if it was good for them it would be good for me and my little business. The machine was inexpensive too. The operation is speedy and will also print well when the other printers are tied up. Dont be worried about the Canon but just in case I bought an additional 2 year warrantee for $14.00.
This was perfect for what we needed in our office. We still utilize faxing and for the price this was worth the buy.

Top loading feeder is fast and quiet. It has not jammed on me except when I used wrinkled paper. The paper storage bin has plenty of capacity. Instead of installing the handset I plugged a cordless phone in back and use the fax line as a spare. Print quality is good. Lots of programmable options. The downside is that the toner cartridge 128 is expensive. You can use generic cartridges that are much cheaper with no loss of quality. The Blake 128 replacement worked well for me. What you need to know is that the fax machine appears to be programmed to display an error message, " check cartridge" when a generic one is installed, even when it is working perfectly. You just have to ignore the message. I would purchase this again.
I have 30 staff using this daily. It handles 20-30 faxes and copies every day and has lasted more than twice as long as any of the other 7 machines weve tried in the past 6 years.
Excellent machine! We usually use it for outgoing faxes. I wish though as soon as I hit Start it would show on screen the activity and as to whether the fax is sending, in case it gets a busy signal. If it fails to fax, like it did yesterday because the other offices fax was broken, it does print a page telling me that. Overall, no regrets; I think we made a good choice in this machine. One reviewer said it wont send a bunch of sheets at a time; Ive only evaluated up to 5 pages at a time, no issues. Next time we send more and it if jams I will write back!
I have been using printer for more than 15 years. I need roller copier with scanning function but also gives me many pages with inexpensive cartage. It come with a fax functions that I do not needed. However more is better than not meeting my needed. Cannon is one of the great brand I love beside Samsung. I used Brother printer before and I hated it!
So I have had this fax in my office for about 2 weeks now. My office is a mid size office. We send about 50 faxes a day and receive in about 100 to 150 a day. It has workes GREAT. We love it. Our last fax sounded like a cat in a garbage disposal for the last few weeks we had it so this fax (as quiet as it is) was a blessed relieve. I don’t really have any issues to report. It prints fast, holds a lot of paper in the bin (about 250 pages). The only thing that threw me off was that you put the papers face UP rather then face down to fax. But other then that the set up was easy to do (about 40 minutes all together and that included entering in all 50 of the speed dial contacts). The toner just today stated it was getting low. So it lasted about two weeks BUT it was the starter toner so we didn’t expect it to last longer then this. It seems about the same time frame as our last fax machine toner. And the toner is the same price as our last one so that’s a good sign. All in all I would suggest this fax machine to anyone who has a low to midsize office. It works great.
Bought this for our office and it is working great. Only one tiny complaint...it doesnt show what page you are on while the fax is progressing. Of course, it may be that I havent been able to figure out how to display this. LOL
