Canon Image Class D570 Monochrome Laser Printer with Scanner & Copier with Canon Original 137 Toner Cartridge - Black

Bought this printer last fall (2017) to use in my classroom so I wasnt having to run to the copy room anytime I needed extra copies. It has worked great! The only problem was from the schools side because their PC was older and didnt support the printer. But had no problems with my lap top or the schools laptop with newer operating systems. Quick printing and great quality copies, and double sided copies without the headache of printing on one side, then reloading to print on the other. It also scans. This printer was a life saver on many days.

I can get this printer to work about once per day. Then the rest of the day is spent rebooting the printer and rebooting the computer until I get the right amount of Re-Sets. Hours later, I can print one more document. This product is a complete waste of money. And VERY limited tech support - find something better. This is being sent back next week if Canon cant suggest a fix for the problems.........

Beautiful Canon printer. After going through couple of different brand printer during last 5 years...This is an upgrade. Printer setup was super easy - connected to WIFI using the electronic panel just by entering WIFI password. Tested using WIndows 8 PC and Macbook air. No setup was needed on both of them. Both systems showed the printer as "READY" just as I was preparing to print. Great experience so far. Note - this is an "office" size printer..meaning a little large size. It has cool print speed of over 20-30 pages per min. Very quiet and goes back to sleep when job is done. Wakes up automatically when new print is on the way. Very fast. AirPrint also works fine. Just print it from iPhone, it automatically detects the printer.

The instructions could have been better written. Once I got the printer on line it worked great, but getting it on line was difficult for me. Finally did a search and found lots of folks over the years have difficulty figuring out how to use key pay to enter numbers. After that, it was easy. Printer seems fine. Does all I need. Would have given it a 5 star rating except for the difficulty with the instructions.

This printer has performed as advertised. It is fast, quiet, and efficient--quick start up. Beside standard printing, it does duplex printing very well. I use this duplexing constantly to save paper and reduces thickness in the file cabinet. The scanning is not automatic, only one page at a time. But this was not an important feature for my use. Takes various size paper. I connect via USB. I have not tried the wireless yet. Paper does not jam. o doubt the best printer I have ever owned.

The more I use it, the more I like it. My previous printer was a Brother HL 2300D. I bought a new computer (an Acer 1080. which Im getting to know as well.) It could not print on my old Brother. My research led to my having to upgrade to a cloud ready printer. I looked on Amazon and reviewed several candidates and selected Canon Image Class D570. I was way over my head. It does things I never imagined! The Amazon Tech who set it up for me was wonderful and showed me some bells and whistles. I have immersed my in learning both which has gotten easier with practice and recovering from my mistakes. Im at the point of appreciating what it is and how to interact with it. Increasingly, I believe it was a good choice. For me the learning curve was steep, but it was no fault with the unit that continues to amaze me. I would do it all again. Bravo Canon (and Acer). If I knew what I was doing in the first place, I would have rated ot 5 stars.

This copy machine smells really strong of formaldehyde. It is impossible to use it inside a dwelling or office. It makes me sick. Canon should not be allowed to sell this copier to an unsuspecting public. I want my money back!!! Ron Autrey

I had used HP ink printers for years but decided to switch to Canon. I don’t have much need for color so the b/w toner was an easy choice and has proven to be very economical. We have Canon’s 550D and 6670 models which we use to print over 4,000 sheets per month. They have worked flaulessly for over two years. This unit I plan to use in another office and believe will give us the same great reliablity. Print double-sided comes as default on these Vanon models, which some have commented that they don’t like, but I have found it to be more useful than a hassle. It’s easier to “tick off” the double sided feature than remembering to turn it on when printing.

This is much larger than expected and does not have fax or color capability. I would not advertise it as “ideal for any office environment.” I would not say “your business will have the efficiency it deserves.” I need fax and color capability and I’m a small business.

I am so pleased with this printer...came set up to do 2 sided printing without jumping through hoops. The biggest pain in setting it up is connecting to the wireless network. The instructions are very poor...I managed to figure it out but they dont make it easy. Other than that I am very satisfied with this printer.
