I bought this since my wife is pretty crafty. In less than 3 months, its paid for itself already! Much better than the cricut. It uses similar software to the larger commercial machines. I highly recommend this!

I use this in a sign business and it is awesome. There is a rather short learning curve (that means harder), but there are large number of videos on the web that will get you there faster than trying to figure out things by yourself. I also joined the Silhouette Design Store as a Premium member. I think it is worth the $20 a month. It includes downloads that more than cover the cost. I have not had one of the competitors machines, but I did review their product before making my decision and most importantly their software. I do not like it and I have spoken to many that have switched to Silhouette based on the software alone.

LOVE this machine. Works exactly as advertised for cutting. Never had an issue. HOWEVER, the Bluetooth has horrible connection issues.. But I love the machine enough to let that slide :)

I bought this knowing nothing about it I have been watching videos to learn how to use the Cameo. Its a slow process but im learning. Made my 1st decal and working on new designs. It works great and gave me enough vinyl to play around with
