We have multiple Brother printers at our office. We purchased this one in January and have had 3 replacements sent because it is not working. Brother admits that there is a software issue on their side but will not give us our money back. We purchased this particular printer because we use the copier, fax, printer and scanner everyday. We have paid our IT guy 6 hours now to "make" it print and fax but there is no way to make it scan. Very unsatisfied with the response from Brother and definitely would like to return it for a full refund so we can purchase something that works as promised.

Does exactly what I need it to for my small office. PROS: - Very fast printing, rated at 48 ppm and seem to achieve that or close to it. - Extremely fast scanning, at least twice as fast as my other MFC (MFC-9330CDW), and transmits files quickly across network - High-capacity automatic document feeder for scanning (80 pages) appears to be best in class by far - Multi-function paper/envelope/label feeder is extremely useful for printing envelopes and holds 5 thick bond envelopes easily - Large capacity main paper input tray holds a full ream of paper - Can add another 500-sheet tray if needed - Takes large toner cartridges that last practically forever - Can be set up to order new toner from Amazon when it gets low - Very little paper curl compared to other laser printers I have used - almost none! - Documents look great - Good price (especially here on Amazon!) CONS: - Its a monochrome laser printer that by its nature is not good for photos and not great for graphics - Doesnt do the advanced finishing features of a high-end copier like paper alignment, punching, or stapling This is a great machine for an office. I do not think you can do better without spending several times the price of this unit. If you can do your own stapling and hole punching, theres really little need for a big and expensive photocopier with this machine around.

Everyone at our small business loves it! Our 20-year old very simple copier finally bit the dust. The thing was so old people visiting our office for press checks (they happened to sell copiers) took pictures of it. It turns out parts are impossible to get when your copier is 20-years old so we had to retire the old girl. All we do is copy black and white labels and don’t need anything fancy. It seems there is not much to pick from in the mid-level copier range. You either get a $10,000 model that copies, staples, and makes you toast, or a $150 model that still prints, copies, scans, and faxes. So I went on a search reading reviews all over the place. I saw Costco was selling this model and I trust their buyers better than myself to spot quality so I decided to take a chance on this one. I like that you can get a high yield toner cartridge for 12,000 copies and load an entire ream of paper into it (less down time and less opportunity to mess something up). We’ve had it a few weeks now and everyone loves it. It super fast and makes great copies. More importantly, even the ones in the bunch a few fries short of a Happy Meal can operate it. Yeah! We were only looking for the copy function, but we’re also enjoying some additional features. I hooked it up to a computer and our WiFi network allowing us to scan (which opens an email on the connected computer which can then be sent to the person scanning), some are printing from their phones, and I was able to print both sides of our employee handbooks at one time without having to figure out how to flip and reload the paper into the “printer”. Another yeah! I didn’t even know it did that when I bought it. The only complaint I have is the noise. This thing is loud, much louder than the ancient machine it replaces, but it’s other benefits more than make-up for the noise. We just need to pause our conversations when it’s running - which means we get more work done.

Im a tech idiot, so I was extremely surprised at the ease in which this copier, scanner, printer works. Ive bought several other Brother products and Ive always found them to be reliable. This really is a Business Laser All-in-One piece of equipment thats easy to use on the first go round. The printing quality is excellent as well. I notice one thing, and that is you must use the paper they recommend to prevent printer jams. The paper loader holds more than a ream of paper, a plus, which means youre not reloading paper if youre doing a big job. But, s it uses up the paper when it reaches the half mark, it can jam if youre not using a Hammermill 20+ lb. jam proof paper.

Absolutely LOVE THIS PRINTER. I have gone through 2 samsungs and 2 large hps in 4 yrs. Completely frustrated and ink cost was ridiculous. This is perfect in every way. Scann is extremely fast and perfectly accurate in not missing a sheet stuck together. Never jams. Never gets hot. Generic toner cartridges work and are $17. Ive had it 5months now and i had to come write a review because im so happy i picked this out. Buy it!

This has been an extremely reliable and durable All-in-One machine that we have absolutely put through the ringer in our office. Since weve owned the machine, we have printed over 85,000+ pages without incident. There have been no service issues, no hiccups, no problems. Ive read reviews that Brother support is severely lacking but since I havent even had to deal with them with this machine yet, I cant comment on that. Daily we send faxes, copy, print, and upload to cloud storage from this machine constantly- so every component is getting used equally hard. We havent had any paper miss-feeds, no issues with print quality, and havent had to do anything to the machine other than change ink cartridges a few times.

I have been using this printer in my home office for a few months now, and I am super impressed and pleased with it. It prints and scans super super fast, it has the ADF (auto-document feeder) so you can just plop in a stack of 50 pages and it scans in like a minute. It hasnt jammed once yet, and installation was very easy and its all Wi-Fi. The first time I printed/scanned was actually easier than trying to hookup and connect to my printer at work. It basically does everything automatically. super easy. Also, the scan quality is major! the docs I scan come out as like 4 and 5 MB files for one page! high quality color scan. I am VERY happy with choosing this specific model of printer. looks sleek too :) added bonus.

Love it. We replace a big leased copy/printer machine. The savings on the lease and maintenance contracts will pay for the printer in two months. This printer does virtually everything the leased machine does and its a little faster printing. . Very easy to set up. We purchased the additional paper tray so we could have a lot of letter and legal size loaded at the same time. Print quality is great, duplexes, fast, knows which paper to use, copy and scan functions are as expected.

This printer is exceptional. I use it for business purposes as our main high volume printer for a group of 6 customer service reps. Little to no complaints (in toner save mode the copies are a little light). Im now purchasing an additional unit for our alternate location. I intend to phase out all other BW MFCs with this model. Its changed/improved our level of efficiency. Installation takes less than 5 mins on Win 7, no restart required. Fast, effective, easy. I would give it 5 stars if it allowed us to more easily queue up multiple jobs. It does but with limited functionality.

Works for a little bit then the first page starts printing with creases. Brother replaced it once and replacement does the same thing. After months of back and forth trying to get issues resolved as they happen, company now says out of warranty so wont replace it. We were verbally told on the phone warranty would be extended because of all the issues but now that appears to not be so. Very disappointed in this product.
