Happy to have a printer thats always ready to go. Color is nice but it seems like Im always replacing expensive cartridges. I had a terrible experience with Brother years ago and said Id never purchase another Brother product but I gave them another try. Liked this one so well I bought another one for another location

I have just set this up, and this has been a joy to put in my computer system. I am not able to do a real review that does this justice, but functionally, it is really good. More will be revealed with more use but, copy, print etc seems to be first rate, but the real joy has been the ease of setting this up.

I have been using this printer for 1.5 years now. It has all the functionality I need and I like it a lot except for one major issue which is why it gets 2 stars. When I first installed the printer, brand new printer, I noticed black dots on the printouts. I had to clean the drum per instructions I found on the Brother side. Since then I have found that I need to clean it every 6 months. Right now it has black streaks and dots that are very visible. I contacted Brother support and they said my Toner must be leaking. They dont have an explanation why it occurred out of the box and then why I need to clean it every 6 months. I had used HP laser printers for more than a decade prior, and never experienced this issue. So now Im going to buy a new $100 toner to see if it fixes an issue Ive had from the beginning. If it happens again, Ill just keep cleaning it every 6 months until Im ready to replace the printer.

Ive loved this printer. An absolute speed demon, and work horse. Good toner economy too! Unfortunately, just over a year later (just outside of warranty, of course) and the ADF is broken. Considering we do quite a bit of scanning on this, a broken ADF pretty much derelicts the machine. Its looking like a $100+ repair cost.

Needed a home office printer, something I could stand behind and expect great quality. I love brother printers especially the small office to mid size office brands. This one features everything you need to get rolling. Great quality at a reasonable price.

Ive had good success with other Brother printers in the past, hoping the same for this one. The network cheer settings are not as easy as they could be, but not as difficult as the x brand.

I like everything about this printer. My first brother and i was more than impressed. The toner lasts a long time for a starter toner. All the software features including faxing from your pc work flawlessly. I had a xerox printer and brother just blows it out of the water on every level. If you want a printer from a company that gives you features that you will love because they actually work, than brother is the way to go in my opinion.

The scanner on this actually works! It faxes, it scans, it copies. You can use card stock, stickers, etc it in. Cheaper printers jam with odd thickness things likes that.

We bought this printer for work, it was amazing....easy to set up new and fancy compared to the dinosaur we had before. All that being said..... they dont make them to last. Of course the one year warranty has expired and after Brother tech support couldnt do anything it was said you have to buy a new one. It is so disappointing that this once great printer cant with stand two years of printing.

This printer was bought for minor business printing for a small church. Print quality is very good. Printer is simple to use. We havent had any problem whatsoever with this printer. 4 stars instead of 5 because estimated Toner yield has been very disappointing. Yield has been about half of what is advertised.
