For me this is an "AWESOME MONITOR"!!! The box came in a little banged up and I was worried that something would be wrong with it but I unpacked it, set it up, plugged it all it and "BOOM BABY"! The picture is incredible and the various resolution sizes that I have had it at is just great. I have always been a fan of ViewSonic but they were always a little more than what I wanted to pay but I am really glad I went with ViewSonic this time. As an auxiliary monitor to my HP 4K Spectre it does the trick!

Maybe it was a bad batch. But the 1st monitor had extreme backlight bleed problem, mostly on the left side (see pictures). I ordered a replacement but just like I predicted the second one was no better. It had slightly better controlled light on the right but the left side was even worse. And no, you dont see it if youre watching something bright on the screen. And YES you see it with anything dark, like a screenshot from youtube video I included. Its bad during the day, its even worse at night. Any kind of gaming or dark videos make this monitor a nightmare. The only positive thing about this monitor, well not the actual monitor, but the packaging is extremely simple and makes returning it a relative breeze. Thats really the only good thing about this product. DONT BUY Shame on you Viewsonic.

This 32" monitor is great for work and console gaming. Just a heads up though, IT. IS. HUGE. It was thinner than I expected. If I had to complain about something, it would be (1) the process to switch between video inputs is clunky. Id prefer if they had controls on the front so you could easily switch between HDMI 1 and HDMI 2. That would make it easier to switch from my laptop to my console. (2) Because of the size and the mount, its not possible to adjust the height or turn it sideways. That wasnt a huge deal for my purposes, but just something other monitors may offer.

Absolutely love this monitor. The picture is grisp, bezel-less, and my desk got de-cluttered since I dont need two monitors anymore. It also looks stunning overall.

Im an architect working mostly with AutoCAD, and also do lots of general graphic design, photoshop, and web design. This display is great for me! I was on the fence for a while about getting it due to some negative reviews about screen glare and backlight bleeding, but now I can definitely say this monitor has NONE of those problems, and I cant even believe that those reviews were for this monitor. It is bright (not too bright), crisp, great at lots of viewing angles, and has a nice matte finish with NO glare. The color is great too. I did the Windows color calibration to fine tune it, and Im very happy I decided to buy this monitor.

Updated 04/22/2019 The replacement was just as bad with the back light bleeding. So unhappy as again I really want to like this monitor. Then the added factor of how the control setting is hard to access. Who put their buttons behind the monitor? I ended up getting the Dell 32" 1440 (S3219D) monitor. I will come back again to Viewsonic in a few years as I love their monitor design. Not very happy. As you can see from my picture. Very very bad backlight bleed. Already put a return. I really hope and pray theres no bleeding with replacement. I want to like this monitor as I have been using and still using the old model VX2770.

This frameless monitor is beautiful and really compliments my Macbook Pro. It feels very high-end and the picture is great out of the box. The built-in speakers are horrible, but I wasnt expecting much from such a thin monitor.

I agree with many of the other reviewers, this is a very nice large monitor with very bad controls. My 27" Apple display finally gave up the ghost, so I was left with finding a high quality image without the $800 price tag. This display is very crisp, and I enjoy the extra couple of inches. However, its annoying that the display has speakers, but cannot be controlled via the volume control icon. You can opt to switch between the Macbook internal sound (which isnt great), or the external Viewsonic speakers via System Preferences. From the controls on the back of the monitor, which are a real pain to figure out, I finally set the volume on the monitor to 100%, which isnt really all that loud, but will be just fine for listening to music or YouTube. Ill go back to the MacBook volume when working, because I hate the bonking of Excel, etc., so I can still easily mute when desired. All-in-all, I think this monitor was the best brand given the parameters of 2560x1440p for the price.

Best buy so far for myself! Eyes dont get tired fast. Thanks to IPS and ANti-flicker technology. Kids love watching movie on it.
