Dell Gaming LED-Lit Monitor 27" Black (D2719HGF), FHD (1920 x 1080) at 144 Hz, 2 ms Response time, DP 1.2, HDMI, USB, 2W x 2 Speakers, AMD FreeSync
At first, I was worried that these monitors had some contrast/gamma issues since my jet black desktop background image appeared to be greyish, even after trying to play with settings and calibration. However, once I changed my screen refresh rate to 144 Hz, the blacks on this Dell monitor matched up to my existing Samsungs, and I am a happy camper. To do this on Windows 10: 1. Right-click on your desktop 2. Click "Display Settings" 3. Scroll down and click on "Advanced display settings" 4. Click on "Display adapter properties for Display #" for your Dell D2719HGF monitor. 5. Click on the Monitor tab, and set look for the dropdown menu "Screen refresh rate" 6. Select 144 Hz, and see if that improves your image/colors. (Optional) 7. If youre still not satisfied, try some calibration; type "Color Calibration" in your Cortana/Windows Searchbar.

Probably one of the best 144hz monitors you can get for the price right now. I ended up opting for this one over others for a few reasons. +For one, it looks gorgeous physically. Build quality seems good and the bezels are very thin--it looks like a very modern and attractive display. +Second, it was Dell, and my previous monitors have been Dell and mentally its nice to have two Dell monitors next to each other. It also offers 2 additional USB pass throughs on the monitor which is always nice. +Third, its 27". When getting a display, its almost always best to opt for the larger one, and Im glad I did. (In the photos, its compared with an older 22" TN display) +Lastly, the price: Its hard to get these features at this price. This is one of the cheapest 144hz monitors on the market at the moment. I was afraid of the other reviews saying the colors are terribly washed out and theres horrible screen tearing. From my experience of playing a few games, even with Vsync off and with an Nvidia GPU, there really hasnt been any noticeable screen tearing. (Im using a Display Port 1.2 cable if that makes any difference) For people who dont think 2ms response time is enough, thats a lie. You wont notice the difference between 1 and 2ms, considering the monitor only refreshes every ~7 ms. Others have complained about dead pixels. Ill update if I notice anything, but so far so good. The colors I do agree are slightly washed out and not as good as they could be compared to an older TN display, but while though I would like better colors, I honestly dont care. Im not a color connoisseur, I just play games, write papers, and watch YouTube. If I had nothing to compare it to, I would think its fantastic. All in all, a solid monitor. If youre on the fence like I was and dont care about not having perfect colors, then this is an excellent monitor and I genuinely recommend it.

It is better than what you will expect at this price point. People will complain about "washed out colors" but that is only right out of the box. With a few adjustments the colors are fine, and Ive had A LOT of experience with VA and IPS monitors. The colors were actually better than I thought they would be. The speakers suck...but I dont know why anyone would buy this monitor for the speakers. Aside from that minor flaw in my opinion....the picture quality is great. There isnt any lag. There is no screen tearing. No screen flickering. It has been a very smooth experience without any issues. I bet most of the low review scores for this monitor will be due to the speakers...even though most people dont use the monitors speakers. Honestly, I wish manufactures would remove internal speakers from gaming monitors and lower the prices.

Pros - 400 nits really make it bright and visible. - I liked the USB ports so i can connect my wireless mouse and keyboard to the monitor and not the laptop. - 144 Hz is really hard to fin on this monitor price range. - Up to date HDMI and display ports. Cons - The buttons sounds so loud. - The menu for settings is too basic. They could add a more friendly graphical user interface. - They could do better with the contrast ratio so it could reproduce better dark colors. VEREDICT: This is a nice monitor If you dont mind not getting the best of dark scenes and want to get good feautures at a decent price. Personally i have a Nintendo Switch which games are colorful and i like to play it with his monitor. Compared with my laptop 4k IPS display. Dark wallpapers looks better on laptop but colorful ones i prefer the monitor.

Great price!!! But the fun stops there. Colors are washed out and there is significant screen tearing compared to other monitors with similar specs.

I got one of these, and while it was a nice build... It wasnt a nice picture. Out of the box the colors were so washed out I could hardly read any text without discomfort. I tried to make multiple adjustments, and short of making the screen super dark, there was no comfortable settings I could find. I reset it to factory settings and returned it. Also, I would like to note the built-in speakers were simply awful. Though I never planned to use them, they were merely like listening to an AM radio in stereo.

Since nVidia recently began supporting G-Sync on some FreeSync monitors, I had been looking for a new gaming monitor that worked with G-Sync, was a bit larger and thus easier on my eyes, and wouldnt break the bank. After a lot of reading (both product info and reviews) I ended up choosing the D2719HGF after reading other users were having good luck getting G-Sync to work with this monitor. I am happy to report that this is indeed the case, and after connecting up the display with a DisplayPort cable and enabling G-Sync in the nVidia settings tool, adaptive refresh is working and, man, I am actually surprised at the difference it makes. Everything is just noticeably smoother on screen and responsiveness is improved, as well as eliminating input lag sometimes associated with previously having V-Sync enabled. Note that this monitor is not "officially" listed as G-Sync compatible by nVidia, but I can verify it does work flawlessly. As with all FreeSync displays that are G-Sync compatible, you will need a DisplayPort cable connection (not HDMI) and the latest drivers from nVidia that implemented FreeSync compatibility (starting in mid January of 19). As for picture quality, color reproduction, black levels, etc; They are good to acceptable. This is a TN panel which means you are sacrificing deep blacks and color reproduction for enhanced response time. I am happy overall with the image quality of the display, but it is noticeably less vivid than the IPS panel on the monitor I have next to it. In addition, since this is a 1080p display, text appears less fine (more pixelated) than it would on a smaller monitor. This is of course to be expected as the pixel density is decreased compared to a smaller panel. This is most noticeable on the Windows desktop or in Chrome, etc. For gaming, this is a great monitor and I am very happy with it, especially for the price. Im using the monitor with an nVidia GTX 1070, so 1080p is about the upper end if you want refresh/frame rates above 60fps with everything cranked to ultra detail-wise. With that target in mind, this is a great gaming monitor and I am very happy with my purchase. There are definitely nicer monitors out there, but for the price point, and if you are on a budget, this is an extremely solid choice.

First off this monitor arrived late. The shipping portion of this experience was terrible. Its shipped by Amazon and you cant get updates of where your package is at. They did send me a notification that it was late but you cant track it like a normal carrier. I also tried to call them but that really did not help either.. all they could tell me was that it was late and did not arrive. When I did get it in I was able to get it set up so it looks ok but nothing spectacular. I also bought a wall bracket so I could install it next to my 27" Ben Q. I went through the DP so I could try out the new free sync on NVIDIA GPUs. (10 or 20 series) This did work and it worked well in games. With the Free Sync it does have a strange bug that can cause the monitor to actually give an Out of Range Error. If you turn the monitor off and then on it works fine. I would think this is just an issue with Free Sync being a new feature for NVIDIA and it might get fixed with a future update. This only happens with the DP Cable. Problem is that HDMI is not supported for the Free Sync with NVIDIA GPUs so for the time being Im stuck with the error. My complaint is the day after I received the monitor I was looking on Amazon and the monitor went on sale. So I figured that I would just contact Amazon and get the refund for the difference. I learned they are not like a normal retailer and will not offer the the difference if a product goes on sale even if it goes on sale the day you get it. You can return the item but then you have to pay shipping which really makes it not worth it. Of course the monitor was on sale down the street at Office Max for the same discounted price. My opinion here if your reading this and plan to try this monitor out is to go to Office Max and pick it up.. if its still on sale that is and if you dont like it just return it. Make sure you check with them about their returns but Ive never had a problem with them. So all in all its a good monitor. Its not the best out there and dont expect it to be but with some tweaking you can make it passable. The 144hz is nice as well but I have to admit that my BenQ which is HDMI running at a lower hertz runs much better and has a clearer picture in gaming. Watching videos they both seem about the same.

I truly believe this is the best it gets for a semi-budget 1080p gaming monitor. The only issue I seem to be having is when i go into the display settings, it tells me that its a 60hz not 144hz Panel. I have yet to experienced any artifacting at frames above 60 or higher and am beginning to think it is just a bug of some sort on windows part. Other than that the monitor has been working great and I am very happy with my purchase.
