Good monitor, probably a bit overpriced. Unless youre a pro gamer, the flashy 240hz display probably wont make much difference. Its noticable, dont get me wrong, but its not huge. It also comes at a price other than $$$ -- picture quality. I can definitely tell the difference between this monitor and my IPS panel when it comes to picture quality. If youre someone who values graphics over speed, keep looking. If its only speed you care about, and youre willing to sacrifice some image quality, then Id recommend this monitor. Also, it goes without saying, but consider your budget. This isnt a cheap monitor.

Ive had this product for 3 months and I must say as a gaming monitor this is Incredible. Top notch, and an obvious improvement over 144Hz panels. Now theirs a bit more ghosting with this panel even on AMA = High than my previous BenQ XL2420TE at AMA = Premium which is kinda sad but isnt a big deal for me personally and still on par or better than most 120Hz+ TN panels. Now for the reason for 3 stars. Ive owned this monitor for about 3 months and about ever 5-6 weeks a new spec of dirt appears under my screen. (I know this is dirt UNDER the screen do to it not coming off when rubbed with a microfiber cloth and that Ive gotten 1 of them to move a couple inches by lightly tapping above it with a piece of cloth) Its quite annoying cause 2 of the now 4 (was 2 up until today) are big enough to block SEVERAL pixels. Currently in the process of RMAing my monitor will update my review (and rating) here in the coming weeks on the results of that. -edit- 8/1/2017 Got the response Today that they would like me to ship back my monitor for repair. Will be packing the monitor tonight and sending it tomorrow. (this would be a huge inconvenience if I was playing a game competitively as most games have match nights on Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays...) Luckily I am not, and also have a 144Hz monitor I can use until this is returned. 8/10/2017 BenQ Received the monitor on 8/8/2017 @9:17AM theyre now shipping me a new monitor (or at least a different monitor than I sent them) as of 1AM 8/10/2017. Im expected to receive this monitor back on 8/14 . I would say the timeliness of their Inspection and decision to send me a new one was was spot on 5/5, now the shipping on the other hand leaves more to be desired. I shipped the monitor on 8/2/2017 at 6PM which will leave me at minimum without my monitor for 11days and a handful of hours which for people playing eSports could mean missing 2-4 matches with their 240Hz, that being said it could be way worse and is better than some other parts Ive RMAd from other vendors. 4/5 I will update this review again upon receiving the monitor, and will try to do so about a month or 2 after. If I dont assume the monitor is working fine. 8/14/2017 Received this monitor today at 10:45AM. First couple notes. New monitor has older firmware and was produced in Nov 2016 my original was Dec 2016 (not an issue for me). Came in a plain cardboard box rather than the original box style, also not really an issue especially since they resent all the add-ons and cables. Looks like part of the stand popped of during shipping also not an issue since it reattached appropriately. New Monitor does have 1 dead sub pixel, which I have mixed feeling about. On one hand I have a monitor thats in way better condition than the one I sent in and the dead sub pixel is within 1/8th inch of the top bezel just right of center (and thus perfectly fine imo), but on the other I did just send in a monitor with a similar issue to this and this one already has one. Now so long as no more pop-up in the coming months Ill be happy. (Ive included a picture of the dead sub-pixel its to the right hand side within the mouse cursor) Im leaving my review at 3/5, I was planning on doing a 4/5 had this new monitor not had a dead sub-pixel, but I may up it to 4/5 if I have no more issues over the next 3-6 months. 7/17/2018 Monitor is still working well and no new dead pixels or subpixels have popped up in the 11 months Ive had it. Ive upped my review to 4/5. Would like to add that via the service menu this monitor is capable of blur reduction at 240Hz 1080p AMA = premium works well with the blur reduction, blur reduction on this monitor and other 240Hz 1080p monitors dont look right due to crosstalk, XL2546? with DyAc isnt as bad as this but its still pretty bad. Will have to wait until better hardware and protocol standards are developed for Blur Reduction on 1080p+ 240Hz+ monitors.
