These are great monitors, but the speakers are really quiet. If you want any volume, buy the "AmazonBasics USB-Powered Computer Speakers" to go with this monitor. Those speakers are about $14, and theyre great.

Im happy that I bought a SquareTrade plan on this display. 4 months into using this display, I started to get green lines and white lines along the right side of the monitor. When I brought this up to BenQ, it took them almost an entire WEEK to get back to me regarding this issue just to say they would send me a new unit out, to which I THOUGHT was great. What they failed to mention to me before taking another WEEK to get back to me to continue with the RMA process is that they would only send me a new unit out if I sent this in. If you get this, get a SquareTrade warranty on this and dont bother with BenQs. IF you get this, which I do NOT recommend you do. Good panel backed by cheap components that just are not reliable. Youre best off getting another monitor at this price point.

There are what looks like compression artifacts even though the image looks perfectly fine on my other monitor. The color is also very unsaturated. I couldnt do anything to fix these issues even when using user settings and tinkering with saturation, contrast, brightness, gamma, etc.

Mine was defective and BenQ said to return it. Im exchanging it for the same model. The problem was that the display often was washed out. It wasnt consistent. Most of the time it would be fine. It happened with three computers (Win 10 and OpenSUSE Linux) and three inputs. I wasted a lot of time fiddling with Win 10 Calibrate Display and Color Management and with adjusting monitor settings. Nothing solved the problem. One thing I do not like about this monitor is the location of the control buttons. They require reaching behind the display. This means that if you have a dual or triple monitor set up and theres no gap between the monitors, this monitor needs to be the rightmost monitor. I had planned to use it as the center monitor in my triple monitor rig, but couldnt because of this. However I do give BenQ credit for having control buttons that are a bit more intuitive to use than most monitors. I give BenQ tech support high marks for answering the phone immediately, with no delay at all, and for being very helpful. After get the replacement monitor, Ill update this review.

bought this to replace my current monitor that had color distortion as primary and to use the old one as a secondary monitor. let me say having a 2nd monitor is the best thing ever. set up was simple and the difference is beyond compare. image was a lot brighter than I was used to tho. I got this at the same time as WoW upgraded visuals and tech on alot of things and started giving many people problems. I got bad headaches and tbh Im not sure if it was the game or monitor or combination of both. I bought a pair of yellow tinted glasses and turned the settings on the monitor down and things have gotten alot better tho I do still get headaches from extended use. I am also not playing WoW as much so Idk which was the problem or which was the solution. I looked at alot of monitors and this was by far the best in the budget I set. Great value and lots of features.

Sure, this is a budget monitor. No, its not going to be as exact in colors as a monitor that costs three times the price. ...but you know what? This monitor has been great for gaming, some light graphic design, browsing, typing, page layout, and everything else Ive thrown at it. It was purchased to become my primary monitor as my previous (solitary) monitor moved over to serve as a secondary screen and Ive found myself turning off the original screen and just leaving this one on to help make sure I get tired a bit sooner. The low blue light (however they do it) seems to do a great job of not keeping me up longer than I should stay up and it has been super easy on the eyes. Id recommend this monitor to anyone.

I have 2 of these to complete a triple monitor setup. Due to my gfx card I have to use them as variety of setup so one is DVI and one is HDMi to dp I think. The one that is DP is a like slow on load up when I turn the monitors but functions great. The one that is DVI is sensitive and if you wiggle the wire it will turn to lost signal error, but I dont move them often and they are wall mounted, so I didnt bother with a return/exchange. Its been about 5 months, so far great. They run eyefinity (AMD triple resolution) fine if you can make it work with Windows 10. Every new update with Windows 10 and usually the eyefinity fails and sometimes never get it back, so I dont usually run eyefinity anymore due to Windows 10 (I have 10 pro, doubt it will even work on 10 home). I dont actually use these monitors for gaming, but I did test it and looked great. I have an ips as my third main middle monitor. I would recommend these and buy another.

I just bought two of these monitors last week, and Ive wavered for a while between giving these monitors four or five stars. The only reason I even considered lowering the rating to four stars is because the speakers on these monitors are so weak as to be nearly useless. But I didnt buy them for the speakers, so that doesnt matter to me. For someone else, that may be more of a consideration. Pros - Crisp and clear picture. (1920 x 1080) Great price. VESA compatible. (100 x 100) VGA, DVI, HDMI, and 3.5 mm audio inputs. Audio output (if you want to use headphones with them.) Cons - Terrible speakers As other reviewers have mentioned, these might not be the monitor for you if you have heavy graphics demands (online gaming or video editing). But for normal day to day use, you cant do much better that these for the price.
