I purchased TWO of these monitors, and I immediately regretted it as soon as I booted up my desktop. Even after an hour of playing with video settings, there was nothing I could do to improve the picture quality. These monitors are too big for just 1080p, and you will notice icons, text, etc. are blurry. Additionally, The tweakable picture settings are absolutely horrible, and theres no way to make them look 100% normal. Both of the monitors are in the same condition, I updated my graphics drivers, and I tested the quality with both HDMI and DisplayPort. Very disappointed, but honestly it is my own fault for going with such big monitors at such low resolution.

I have had this product for a month now and either the picture quality is just that bad or I received a defective product. The image itself appears pixelated, constantly ghosting and minor flickering, to a point where it actually bothers my eyes. Playing games and streaming movies is not realistic as the picture quality is just that poor. I have tried all manner of settings, drivers, software updates, to no avail.

It is a decent monitor. I liked picture quality. You should not sit too close to it - the picture would be grainy, but it is expected from a large monitor with 1080 resolution. At a 3 - 4 feet distance it is not noticeable, unless you have super-sharp vision. Unfortunately this monitor has a fatal drawback - it is unable to display 800x600 or lower resolution. When you rebooting your PC, BIOS usually uses VGA resolution, and this monitor shows nothing. I had to return it - I cannot afford to lose an ability to tinker with BIOS settings, or troubleshoot boot problems. Couple of minor issues: "eye care" is a marketing gimmick, does not do anything useful. Control joystick on the back of the monitor is rather flimsy and is not easy to reach. Windows recognizes it only as "generic PnP monitor" (my previous monitor was recognized by its exact model name).

I decided to return the monitor. I plugged my 2013 MacBook pro in using the HDMI cable that came with the monitor but the text and pictures are blurry. The highest resolution was 1080p. Its most likely due to the fact that Im using the HDMI cable to connect. I didnt try mini display port to HDMI, which potentially could solve the problem. Or maybe a better HDMI cable. But I didnt realize that the monitor didnt have display port. There are other reasons for me to return it, though those were not related to the monitor itself. Overall the monitor was stylish, color was a little washed, build quality seem good, built in speakers were a little weak. I wish it had a display port for my Mac.

I specifically bought a 32" monitor for my mom. She needs glasses and having a bigger screen size is a huge plus for her. But this monitor is really bad. The picture quality lacks contrast, the colors are really bad, it doesnt look sharp, it is very dim even with the brightness maxed, the menu is pretty much useless, and the speakers are terrible. It does work, however, and for my familys usecase is fine as it is. My mom uses it to surf the web every once in a while, my brother uses it to do homework, the printer is next to it so we use it as a print hub. But if you use your pc for gaming, movie watching, serious work, or anything that is not just very casual use, dont get this. The value is pretty bad as well. You can even get a 40" 4k TV for the price and it may be even better than this for monitor use. So, TLDR: this is a very bad monitor that might be fine if you wanted a big screen monitor for your parents.

This monitor at this price point, is...well, BIG. I am a huge fan of ASUS, owning one of their gaming laptops, but....the buttons on the back are absolutely stupid, there is a learning curve with them, and they could have been designed so much more intuitively and user-friendly. My big complaint is the pixels...I SEE THEM ALL, and I am not getting smooth lines around my gaming characters. I feel like I am looking at my games-or screen for that matter, with a pair of panty hose over it. NOW I have read the other reviews here that are VERY HELPFUL and set the settings as such, but perhaps I am just sitting too close?? I am used to being 3 feet away from a 22 incher. I also cannot find a happy spot in the brightness settings for my eyes, (I prefer darker but when I put this one down darker, even messing with contrast, everything just becomes so dark its undefined!) :( and do not understand the blue light setting. It seems to work fine, but I put it back in the box till I have a place to use it in which I have some distance. And yes I am using it as hdmi with hdmi suppoted system and top of the line graphics card. So MAYBEEEE??? Im just not used to THAT BIG of a monitor, sitting THAT CLOSE to me?? Appreciate all the helpful advice in the other comments/reviews, big help, would like to see what to do about me feeling like I am in zillions of tiny pixel hell.

Purchased to use as a computer monitor as well as a TV for bedroom. Picture quality is great especially if your computers or device output is 1080p and set up was easy as the desk stand was pre-installed. HDMI and VGA inputs are a plus and 3.5 mm analog audio output is nice but optical out would have been better. I was expecting the built in speakers to sound a bit better but it does not matter to me as my computer is connected to external speakers. Only other issue which isnt an issue for me is the lack of mounting brackets. I currently have the monitor on my desk but it would of been nice to have the option to mount on to a wall. Overall its a great buy even though it lacks a few features seen on similarly priced monitors. The image quality makes up for it and is serving its dual role as computer monitor and bedroom TV very well.

For the size it has a quality picture and very reasonable price. Overall design is simplistic but aesthetically sleek and good functionality. Has an non-obstructive frame and stand making it feel very sturdy. Unboxing and initial set-up was easy due to the stand being attached while in the box. Has an unusual input and power plug design where they all face down instead of out, making the hardware connection slightly more complicated if you have it set on a desktop but lets you lay it against a wall easier. Four stars only for limited inputs: one HDMI and one VGA. Standard is typically two HDMI.

This is great quality monitor and size for the price. My only complaint is it doesnt have a white DVI output. It only takes analog (blue ended cable) or HDMI. My old monitor took all three but since I dont have HDMI at the moment Im stuck using analog until I upgrade my video card.
