We have a four of these (with ranging disk sizes). Three of which have been in use and on 24/7 for six plus months with no issues. No noise or moving parts, lower energy usage than our other desktops. Fast enough for office use and multitasking with multiple screens (2) and multiple browser windows and tabs (5+) open at once. Even that dang Windows 10 update login screen is fast! Very pleased with this product and we are planning to transition all of our desktops over to this model.

I purchased this device to replace my docked Thinkpad T61 which functioned as my TV, and I have been pleasantly surprised with my purchase. I was on the fence between this, and HPs EliteDesk 705 G3 Mini Desktop , but the M715Q M715 beats them by about 100$ at the sacrifice of USB 3.1. The details of the internals of the system, and what it had connection ports in the back. My device has 3 Display ports, no HDMI port so make sure you get an adapter, and no 2.5" drive, but a M.2 128gb. I had planned to add an M.2 drive, but this simplifies things greatly for me. I love that it has dull green LEDs that do not light up the room at night, making it a lovely addition to my bedroom. I erased Windows 10 after doing a UEFI update and installed Ubuntu 16.04. In short: Dont. You can install AMDGPU-PRO and the HWE install, but you will be forced to install the Realtek RTL8821AE by hand. I suggest using a Client or Media Bridge with this devices Ethernet instead, as it is stable. In addition to it preforming as my television, I also had the task of it playing games and transcoding video via OBS and Handbrake. To provide a benchmark, I decided to use Phoronix Test Suite. In which I ran Unigene Heaven and Passmark under the UEFIs quite mode setting. While it is no 3d gaming rig (you can see it benched with common games if you search A12-9800E GPU benchmark),In Heaven, which is a rather intensive OpenGL 4.0 benchmark, I got on adverage 7FPS, with a peak of 12FPS, which is expected and the Radeon R7 still outpreforms Intels integrated graphics in this regard, which is much better for a system in this form factor. Comparing it to a gen 1 Thinkpad Yoga S1, which has a i7 and a HD 4000, the ThinkCentre ran twice as fast. Turning off ICE, the UEFI setting that controls fan noise, and removing any throttling, I was able to determine there was no sigificant thrermal throttling occuring durring Heavens tests. Durring this test, the system showed how noisy its fan could get if unlimited, making about 70db in white noise. In Passmark the system received a score of 2863. In Zigurat, on high, the system was able to get a nearly constant 30 fps on low at my native resolution of 1860x1050, and 15fps on highest. In Shadow Warrior (2013), the system was able to maintain 25fps at my native resolution on medium and was very playable, and the machine remained completely silent. I was unable to get Dota 2 to run under 17.04 due to library incompatabilties. For those concerned, it comes with both a wired mouse and keyboard. I use mechanical keyboards exclusively, and while I find the keyboard undesirable, its membrane feel was far better than any Logitech membrane keyboard I have used, and is decently quiet. The mouse is thin and clean, but I opted for wireless for my set up for this device. Despite all my troubles, I have been pleased with its performance, and I would recommend this hardware pairing, even if you were using Windows 10. I had no problem within it while I had it installed, and it had minimal bloat-ware. Pros: - Great price for the hardware, beating out competitors and DIY solutions. - AM4 APU - Power efficient! Only uses in power saving mode 18w average. It can get up to 65w when playing games. - M.2 - Small form factor - Quiet - All USB 3.0 ports - Bluetooth 4.0 - Keyboard and Mouse Cons: - Realtek RTL8821AE (hopefully with time this will no longer be a con) - No HDMI - No USB 3.1 Notes: I have not thoroughly tested the bluetooth, but I was able to pair with my laptop under Ubuntu 17.04.

Exactly what I needed. Plenty of memory and speed for what I use. Boots up quickly and works as advertised. I would recommend for the average household use.

Mostly Working great, with issues like the 3rd monitor will not work and the warranty was activated 6 months before I got the unit. It is small and fast, and all the rest of the features are great, as long as you update the drivers and firmware from Lenovo regularly.

This mini PC supports dual monitors and works great. Most impressive to me was that it came without any junkware (except McAfee) pre-installed.
