I purchased this for my father, he had resisted moving from Windows 7 and the Windows Mail program to a modern system. But as 7 aged it became balky and the hard drive was acting up. It was an older slim PC that sat on the floor. I took a chance on this Win 10 and bought 3 year Square Trade/Allstate warranty for about $10. I used the Microsoft Mail program that comes in the store, or on the PC, dont recall. He has adapted well to that but I hate it. MS in their infinite wisdom does not have the Contacts in the mail program, you have to add them into the People Hub in the PC. Stupid. But to the machine, very very happy with the price and the operation. And for a guy as impatient as he is, the SSD is GREAT! He had no need for 1TB of storage, this was plenty, esp so you get SSD and almost instant start up. It is the size of a medium hardback book so he gets the space under his desk back too.

So I purchased this after having another Windows HTPC box for my TV. I wanted something a bit more powerful, as my previous atom-powered box couldnt do 4k @ 60hz. I got this and it turns out, it cant either. Very disappointed. However, since the other box struggled even with 1080p youtube videos (it would turn into a slide show after a few videos had played), Im going to keep this. Just so disappointed since the specs all seem to suggest it can handle 4k @ 60hz. Everything else about this box is nice, especially being able to access and change the RAM and HD. Fairly quiet as well, except when the fan ramps up every once in a while (very rare, usually a Windows Defender check or something).

Im more of an Apple person however I have always had some sort of Windows computer too. This is my second ThinkCantre. The first one lasted about 5 years and I was satisfied with that. It wasnt very expensive and neither was this one. Its very fast. It boots up quickly and shuts down just as fast. Im very impressed with its performance.

Came exactly as described with the Wifi antenna and Wifi enabled. Pleasant surprise, it also came with bluetooth. Bonus! KB and mouse are just your average cheap pieces but the PC itself is very nicely put together. Lightning fast boot up, quiet as can be. So what if its refurbished.

These are junk. Bought 1, arrived with damaged power cord. Returned, bought another - arrived with damaged NIC and a fan on 100% of time sounding like a jet engine.

This PC did not come with the Wifi antenna or a Wifi network card installed. They shipped me a generic USB Wifi dongle that I cannot find the drivers for because there is no name brand on it and Windows update cant identify it. Therefore this PC does not have Wifi as indicated in the description. Useless for my application in an area that only has a Wifi signal.

Lenovo customer service is horrible I purchased a Lenovo ThinkCentre desktop in 2014. In the summer of 2017, the hard drive stopped working. I spent five hours on different phone calls with Lenovo and the problem wasnt fixed until an IBM person diagnosed it with a service call in my office. She put in a new hard drive that ended up not working after about six months. I called Lenovo and spoke with a supervisor who told me that after the warranty ran out, they would not cover the new hard drive. I explained that it might be defective and that Lenovo might want to keep me as a customer. He said that after the warranty ran out, "you are no longer a customer," and hung up on me after I said I would quote him in Consumer Reports. Beware of Lenovo, the company if you are considering a Lenovo purchase.
