Do NOT buy from iBuyPower! Their customer support is terrible! They sent me a DEFECTIVE computer with a faulty ram drive, and expected me to pay to ship it to them, and after two weeks finally got around to looking at it, I had to tell THEM the problem because they couldnt even figure it out, and now I have to wait another week to get it back. I went all the way up their corporate ladder trying to get them to understand they need to do something to fix this issue but they literally told me they would do nothing for me. At the end of the day, this is a company that does not care about their customers. This PC is my only source of income and now Im out three weeks of it. If it didnt cost money to return, I would do so in a heartbeat. I will never buy from them again, and I hope no one else falls prey to their terrible practices. Im so sorry if you have, I understand.

The first one of these computers I purchased would turn itself off after 5 or so minutes without warning. After getting a replacement sent, the next computer wouldnt turn on at all. I worked with tech support to ensure there were no connections loose and was informed that I just received defective units. Im very disappointed with this because it was my first time buying a high-end PC and I had heard great things about the brand. Not to mention, its not an easy task to box up and return 2 huge computers. Ill be looking elsewhere for my next purchase.

Don’t buy this computer sucks. 1200 down the drain. Games constantly crash, constant blue screens horrible customer support from ibuypower. Save your money and go with a different company or build your own. Even on lowest settings this computer can’t run games the way it should. A 1200 pc shouldn’t crash after 5 minutes of playing a game.

I love that Amazon offers reliable household items PLUS SOME at the click of a button and normally reliable delivery. I have never had many issues until this purchase. After researching and weighing options this was our sons one big ticket item he got for Christmas. We did take a peek upon delivery because it was left on our doorstep out in the open in the very box from manufacturers with no extra protection and advertising the expensive item. Our son wanted this because this is a PC favored to gamers but can grow with his interests and can be modified, altered to his liking as he learns and developes in this hobby. Christmas Day came and of course the anticipation was held long enough but we sat down as a family to help learn and piece together his new project. As we went down the manual looking at figures displaying steps we felt it was there was maybe a mistake or another box missing?! We went to the parts included list and then while one was on the phone with Amazon the other was reaching out to the manufacturer. SURE ENOUGH FOR $999.99S THIS SHOULD INCLUDE A MOTHERBOARD, TOWER, DVD/CD/BLUERAY PLAYER (TO BE INSTALLED) AND ALL WE RECEIVED WAS THE TOWER WITH REMOVABLE TEMPERED GLASS SIDES AND FANS, A CHEAP KEYBOARD AND MOUSE. Since Christmas I have been on the phone with several Amazon agents and team leaders but none have answers on how this happens nor have they offered any type of compensation for our RUINED Holiday. At this point I feel we have seen a side of Amazon that we never thought existed!!! Item is still within the return window. On Christmas and yesterday I got agents who did NOT speak English well! When I did get agents who were based in the US I had to explain what type of PC this is MORE THAN TWO TIMES! Seems I get passed around for well over an hour each time, nothing resolved and hit a dead end because if your case or item is TOO HIGH theyd rather play dumb and NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. FAMILY FRIENDS AND EMPLOYEES I AM WARNING AND HOPE MANY TAKE NOTE DO NOT PUT YOUR TRUST IN AMAZON TO PUT THE CUSTOMER FIRST. ONCE YOUR MONEY IS IN THEIR HANDS THEY CAN SEND YOU A BOX OF POTATOES IF THEY CHOOSE TO AND CARE NOTHING ABOUT THE LOYAL CUSTOMER! STICK TO ORDERING ZIPLOCS AND LAUNDRY DETERGENT! THEY ARE CLUELESS AND INCAPABLE OF HANDLING BIG TICKET ITEMS AND ASSURING THEY GET TO THE CORRECT DESTINATION!!! WE MAY NEVER FIND OUT WHERE OR HOW THE BRAIN/MOTHERBOARD AND BASICS OF OUR $1,000.00 COMPUTER BECAME MISSING AND AMAZON COULDNT CARE LESS!.........HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!

Update...Pc was still crashing even after adjust fan speeds. I came to find out that the cheapo 500w psu was the culprit. I installed a evga 600w, which I already had, and no problems since. You might as well add a psu into your cost if you dont already have a good one. The PSU was some generic brand. I wouldnt risk it frying everything else. I usually dont review products, but if your spending a decent amount on something I felt the need. I received the Ryzen 7 1800X w/ RX580. Everything come well packaged and set up went very smoothly. My only complaints were 1) Had to plug power to the hdd. Maybe thats normal, but I didnt see anything saying I needed to do that. 2) The power wire going to the gpu seem to bend the card down. Surely that cant be good for it so I had to relieve some of the pressure with zip ties. 3) Probably my biggest complaint was that after downloading overwatch, the pc would hard crash. I downloaded msi afterburner and increased the fan speeds. That seemed to resolve the problem, but didnt seem right that I would have to do that on a "gaming pc". Anyway, thats my 2 cents. Well see how it holds up in the future.

I would recommend getting the 1800x because the specs are just so much better then the i7. I got this for the 800$ mark, now its at 999$ which is still better. Its extremely fast and very quite. Why recommend this one over the other amazon desktops? Because it has literally the best budget specs you can buy for this price instead of building your own. Not to mention the specs for this one are just BARELY even going under the i7 PC, so whats the point in spending an extra 500$ for the other? It makes no sense. You can spend that 500$ on something else, or to upgrade the graphics card, ram, or PCU. The PCU that comes with this is already top notch and is barely even under the 2800x. I just see no point in any of this, all I see is wasted money. This PC is also good for streaming, mulitasking, video editing and rendering. Yes, you can play just about any new game on ultra, no problems. I dont know about those 1 star reviews, im guessing the ones with the missing product are fake reviews, or people stealing parts from the computer and returning it to build their own. I took 1 star off because the amazon box was flawless, but the product box from ibuypower was 40% damaged. I had a tiny little ding on the top tower, not really noticeable, but I carefully inspected it. I do recommend this PC above all others, and I will keep this updated as time goes, since Im always on amazon.

It seems like a decent deal for the price but the 2 usb ports on top came broken. Meaning they dont work. There are 6 usb ports in the back so im keeping it but its annoying. I just have to bend under my desk to plug new things in if i need. I have my printer, mouse, keyboard, speakers, cameo and gopro plugged in a lot. Also the computer doesnt have speakers. It might say that so i wouldnt mark it down for that but i didnt realize i needed to purchase some lol. Also. HDMI cord came broken, so did the display port cord.

The package was a day late but thats not really the problem now. I inspected both the computer and the box. Some key items were missing. There wasnt a wifi card or wifi USB dongle installed. The computer is supposed to have RGB lights and a remote to control them but those were missing as well. Cant really do much with the computer until I get a wifi card. Ill update my review once I can ACTUALLY start using it. EDIT: Other than the mentioned issues, this computer is a beast. p.s What should I do about the missing items? Contact Amazon or the manufacturer? Update: I dont even see the RGB lights. What the hell? Update 2: I decided to contact Amazon to see what could be done. They offered me a 25% discount or sending me a proper replacement unit. I opted for the discount because repacking a large gaming computer would be difficult and inconvenient. I am disappointed for receiving a model with missing features but I am extremely grateful for Amazon going above and beyond to help me.

I purchased the 1800x/RX580 version of this computer for $799 on 9/17/2018. At this time, the computer has an excellent value- all the parts added up to build one yourself costs about $200 more. First impressions: The computer came very secure in its box however, checking the wiring for loose connections, I was unimpressed with the cable management. Everything was out of view of the viewing side of the case, but cables seemed like they were just stuck wherever possible. (A few were stuck through the SSD slots in the back lol) Upon first boot I was impressed at the noise levels. I was able to set up my device and I started to update windows. Going through the process of updating, I had to restart to continue and the device would not boot a second time. I am currently contacting Amazon support in hopes of getting a working computer. Edit: Ok, round two. Pretty much same process as the first. I update windows and hooray it works! This time I noticed I didnt receive some of the accessories I got the first time around- speaker, fan filter, screws for the case. Talked to support again and they said they would arrange for me to get them. Ran some benchmarks after updating so here they are. UserBenchmarks: Game 71%, Desk 77%, Work 86% CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X - 93.7% GPU: AMD RX 580 - 71.3% SSD: WD Green 120GB (2018) - 37.1% HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012) - 110.6% RAM: Adata DDR4 2666 2OZ 2x8GB - 94.2% MBD: MSI A320M PRO-VD PLUS (MS-7B38) Pretty satisfied with what I got so far- the games that I play get around 150 fps at high graphics. If not for the cable management and DOA computer, I would give this 5 stars.

So the price of this system just went up again and Im glad I bought it when it was only $799. For this price, I got a processor that is on par with an i7, a very capable GPU, 16gb of RAM, and more importantly an SSD and HDD. Yes the SSD is only 128gb but many other comparable systems doesnt even ship with an SSD. There are also slots for SSDs, and I will probably add one in the near future. Everything inside the computer is laid out neatly and cleanly, which makes upgrading very simple. Ive read many horror stories about iBuyPower and Cyberpower computers not working or using crappy parts, but my unit works just fine. This computer is incredibly fast and gaming on it is very smooth, particularly when paired with a FreeSync monitor. Sure the RX580 cant compare to higher end NVIDIA cards but its enough for most games (certainly for me). Its also easy to upgrade to a better card in the future when GPU prices go down. I also use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop and I have not experienced any problems with it. So why am I giving this only four stars instead of five? One reason is that I believe one of the HDMI ports on my unit is defective. Often times when I turn the computer on, the monitor doesnt recognize the connection and remains black, and it would take several restarts for it to work. But Ive been using another HDMI port and so far so good. The second reason is that the fans do get REALLY loud if youre running a demanding game or application. Overall, Im extremely satisfied with what I have, especially considering what I paid. Even at $899, I believe this computer is still a good deal.
