I am updating my review to 4 stars. While some of the original issues I noted are no longer present there are still issues. First, the fan cover was majorly dented, I am not certain if this happened before sending or during shipping, but I have to fault the seller because of the packaging. Second, the mouse did not work, when I plugged it up it simply just jumped all over the computer. The next day I decided to just put it back into its packaging and the thing fell apart. Fortunately I already have one, but I intended to keep this one for my laptop so I will be buying another. Third the Windows code on the computer did not work. Fortunately I already had Windows 10 and the system utilized this once I logged in. I will say there are a few learning points that someone like me (who is used to a laptop or fully operating computer) might need to be aware of. 1. the computer comes with Display Ports instead of HDMI ports, the seller was nice enough to provide a display to HDMI adapter and I also purchased a set of my own. You can find one for $10 or less, or get 3 for $16. 2. It does not have wifi so you will need to buy a wifi adapter. You can find a great one for about $20 or less. Overall I believe this was a good buy for the stats that are offered, and I am looking forward to using my new system.

Very nice computer for the price. No problem setting up and registering the windows 10 pro. There was a keyboard but no mouse included which wasnt a problem for me as didnt intend to use either a generic keyboard or mouse. Should be aware that this was a business computer used in a commercial environment. I ran tests on the memory and 2 TB disk drive, both where good but the disk drive had 5+ years of almost 24 hrs a day run time with power cycles only every few weeks. Looking at failure rates for similar drives on line suggest that this should still be reliable for several more years. However I made a system image and backup just in case immediately after setting up the new windows 10 software. This has a Q87 intel business chipset not the Z87 series most gamers are familiar with doesnt support over clocking but what the heck this is a fast enough machine as it is. Compare this to a new HP i7-7700 2.9 GB/s desktop with 8GB memory at BB for $800 and you get a slower 9266 vs 9780 CPU Mark computer, half the memory, without the pro version of windows 10 and the BB one has only a 180W power supply compared to this ones 320 W active PFC . A small negative the optical CD is a slim read only mounted vertically, you read your old CDs but not burn any new ones. Should mention that HP website supports this with excellent manuals, bios updates and community support for questions. For the price a 5 Star!

I had it all installed, started the day to day, and had nothing but problems. The original Windows 10 operation system was incorrecly installed and now, I have paid double for my Teech guy to work on it over and over. At first, we thought it might be my Outlook file that caused problems. Then my Office 365 kept kicking me out. I was ver upset when I couldnt log intp my Word or Excel programs. As it turns out, Office ran a detection program on it and found that it had a "dirty" Windows 10 installation and my operating system was bad. There were over 20 error codes. Now, to fix it, I need to pay someone to take all my Data and programs out, re-install Windows 10, and then put it all back, which costs more than the computer did. I was told it could take up to 48 hours to fix. Im tossing this one out, and headed to Best Buy to get a new computer that has it done right.

This PC is Incredible--I dont know why I waited so long to get a I7 based PC--nothing slows this machine down-- while Win 10 is updating you can stream and edit movies--Incredible---I updated to a SSD main drive---A must if you want to experience this PCs full potential

I ordered this on 3-15-2018 I got on 3-16-2018! I have never ordered something off of Amazon and got it the next day! My head started spinning! I was beyond excited. Set up for the pc was easy. So far works great! I needed this for projects that Im working on and so far programs I have installed run amazingly! Will definitely order from these guys again. The only thing I am concerned about is the warranty that I purchased with it. I didnt see an paper work stating that the PC was under this warranty. But so far im beyond happy with this PC.

The Desktop arrived in a very flimsy packaging - PC protected by paper mache type corner protectors - no bubble wrap or beans to fill in the gaps between the PC case and the box. No 110 volt power cable provided. Bought a power cable and set up the PC - unit ran OK but very serious sounding noise from Hard Drive which was not case vibration but THE hard drive. Talked with Amazon technical support - they mentioned swapping out the hard drive but offered a full refund which I accepted. This item could have been great value for money IF the Hard Drive had been OK

I like the mini-tower case. Came with a 4790 instead of the 4770, and Ive wanted one for a while now since it has good single and multi-thread thread scores. I couldnt work with the motherboard which didnt have a 24-pin power connector or supplementary power for a discrete gpu. I will replace it with an ASUS Z97 with M.2 and support for faster ram. The Win 10 pro is nice. Think its going to work out just fine, my thanks to the seller.

The great news is its a lot of PC for the money. A great processor at a good price. But with the slow hard drive it came with it takes several minutes to boot. So its like a race horse pulling a plow at times. Visually it was in good shape, though the box was pretty beat up.

I understand that purchasing a refurb can be a gamble, but this turned out to be a win. Machine was clean and pretty fast. I added a 512GB ssd---now it is even faster. I installed ubuntu on that ssd. I will use windows 10 under duress--- too bloaty for real work So 99% linux Plenty of USB 3.0 ports. I also opted for 4 year warranty cause it was inexpensive-- hopefully I will never need it.

As described. Well packaged, arrived in perfect condition. Only minor con is that the disk had 68,000+ hours, or almost 8 years of on-time, on it. Interestingly had only 6 power cycles in that time. I understood it was a used/refurb, but that is a lot of hours for a disk. Not a complaint; just a comment.
