Ordered 2 pf this for our office, they both showed up on the same day however the first one we opened the CD Rom drive didnt work. The to top it off we opened the second one and turned it on to start the setup process and it wont boot. When we started the computer we get an error that says "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation, cannot proceed to install windows click "OK" to restart the computer and then restart the installation" When you click "OK" the computer restarts and the same error appears.

Received computer within a week of ordering and plugged it in. Blue screen of death. Bad hard drive. Called tech support and they are supposed to send replacement. More waiting.....Not happy with the "verified" refurbished computer.

I understood that I was buying a refurbished computer, and a few nicks and scrapes from being under a desk wouldnt bother me. What did bother me was the caked on dirt on the inside and outside of the case. This had clearly been in a factory environment (Ive worked in them), and whomever worked on this for refurbishment didnt so much as blow out the inside or wipe down the outside. In fact, the only thing this company did was slap a Windows 10 Refurbished COA sticker on the outside, booting up the first time (and every other time) got a "non-system disk" error. No operating system. I have no time to play with these people, so instead of waiting for Monday (I discovered this on Saturday as Im setting it up for my mother), I just bought a copy of Windows 10 and installed it on my parents old PC. Ill be returning this PC, if this company cant be bothered with doing the one thing they say theyre going to do (refurbish), then I cant be bothered with keeping it around.

I havent hooked it up yet. Just opened the box. I immediately noticed that the unit had been spray painted black (there was overspray on the model tag and front trim panel). The USB ports are filthy, so I popped open the side cover (I like the easy access handle). Dirt piled up in every nook and cranny. Truly, the pictures do not do the amount of dirt justice. Were in a pickle at our office, so I need this to get up and running. Im hoping and praying that it functions, but without a doubt, this was the filthiest Microsoft Certified Re-Furbished computer Ive ever bought...and Ive bought several from Amazon and other on-line outlets. This machine was more than well used, it was really well used...probably in Afghanistan judging from the dirt. Ordinarily, this machine would be going back based on the appearance alone, but as I said, we need it operational asap. Let this review be a warning...at least from the looks of it, it could have come from the on-line classifieds. I dont expect perfect. I just expect, at the very least, clean and functional, but this is pretty bad... Buyer beware. UPDATE: hooked up the PC and performed the setup. Rebooted and it bricked (flashing cursor in the top left corner of the screen, wont boot up). Also found the included keyboard was damaged in the upper right corner (smashed and broken). Despite all of this, I planned on keeping it until I spent the hour and a half trying to get it up and running, only to have it fail to boot up...

The original CPU we received did not work, so we had to return it. We did purchase the extended warranty, and the the second one had quirks that were inconvenient, but we tried to tolerate it until the hard drive crashed. Therefore, we sent the second unit back and asked for a "full" refund. However, they refused to refund us. So we went through Amazon who assured us we would get a full refund. However, Microbee stated that there was 50% restocking fee, which meant that they would only refund 1/2 of what we originally paid. Currently we are working through the dispute process and still have the third computer. When a computer crashes over and over, you have to send it back to these people you lose all of your data and program and they may end up with personal information. So, I would encourage you to spend a few extra bucks and get a new, sending this back is a huge inconvenience, and our experience shows that you will have to return this produce every couple of months until all of your warranties run out.

Update: After 16 months the machine has crashed hard! It shows a BSOD with msg "Automatic Repair cannot recover the PC" ...and a few options that dont work. (for es, system restore function cannot find a restore point, so it fails). I am pretty technical as a user, and went to microsoft site for help plus found solutions on the web but none work...for example, running MBR fix was supposed to help, but it did not. Then TomsHardware had a procedure suggested checking for certain files, and if they are missing (ie, show 0 bytes) then take the machine for service. So now I guess there will be a bill for $200 or $300...we will see. Orig comments: Had it for 1 month, no issues at all so far. Simple out of box setup, Wifi works, internal speaker was nice while I was troubleshooting, bootup is pretty quick...all in all a great deal for less than 1/3 of what I just paid for my latest cell phone. Now that is ridiculous.

I was very disappointed in this computer. Ive purchased MANY refurb products in the past that worked like new but not this one!! When I received it, there were scratches on the exterior of the case and one side was expanded. It was covered with dust - inside and out. When I iplugged it in it sounded like a train, but a bump on the side stopped that. Programmed it for work ( which takes HOURS) and started using it last Thursday, I needed to move it to the top of my desk from the floor today and that horrid fan noise began and it would not even come on, (after only 6 days of use). I called the refurb co 0 Microbeecs - explained the problem and asked for a replacement. She took my number and said they would call back. That was at 11:30 AM and have heard nothing (time 6:30 PM) I will be returning this and need a replacement., I can also provide pics if needed.

This computer worked well until 12/12/2018. During the night it turned itself off and when I tried to use it in the morning, the screen was pale blue and the system tried to repair itself to no avail. My computer repairman came and discovered that somehow windows 10 had completely vanished from the computer and it could not be fixed, I lost EVERYTHING. I had Virus protection and never opened anything questionable. I am very upset and unhappy that this only lasted 1.5 years. The omplete loss of Windows 10 from the system is something repairman had ever seen. I have no idea what to do but cry

Purchased this unit to replace a Lenova PC. Installation was seamless. After 5 days the unit began to emit strange noises. The fan began to rev-up to very high range and then return to normal operation on its on. On the 7th day, upon start-up, received an error message that the fan could not be detected. Returning the unit for credit.
