Very happy with this fast computer. While there are no flashy neon lights on the plain vanilla case, I appreciate the front USB ports and the fact that tools arent required to open the case (it uses latches) if I decide to add upgrades. I had a slight issue requiring me to call Dell tech support and I got through to the pleasant tech with almost no wait time and the issue was quickly resolved. The warranty also includes on-site support if phone support determines replacement parts are needed. Since Im not a gamer, I cant rate it for gaming, but Digital Trends reviewed a XPS 8930 with just a Core i3 processor and 8 GB of RAM versus this machine with a Core i7 processor and 32 GB of RAM and rated it as an entry level game machine, so this configuration should perform even better. Unlike the comment by a previous reviewer, the sound that came installed on my system is outstanding.

The computer was ready to go when we got it. Everything worked and set up great. The only problem was having to put all the favorite programs back on the new one and that was not Dells fault. My husbands previous computer was not a Dell and it died without warning. Backups are essential, but you always have to reload your programs on the new one. Personally...I always buy dependable Dell. He learned his lesson and will always get Dell now.

After its initial setup and update installations this computer booted up in 10 seconds flat and was fully usable. I have never used a computer that was this powerful in my lifetime. I can have a 3 screen setup, playing different games on each one or choose to have a dozen applications open at once, all functioning perfectly with no lag time. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I bought this along with 3 monitors and a standing desk and together they are the best purchase Ive ever made.

I bought the XPS 8930 in November. Ive had to return this to Dell twice. Second time yesterday. It works fine then out of know where everything stops working. I reboot with on/off button and the machine will not boot. Blank screen. Cant get into bios. I use a Blackx Duet to access the hard drive to remove my personal files with another computer. Then resend to Dell. Last time Dell replaced hard drive, reinstalled Windows 10 Pro, and replaced express card. Worked for about two weeks then BINGO same thing happened again. Last Dell I will buy.

Review revisited. Although there were missing cables. The PC is much quieter then my other Dell XPS 8910. Microsoft is pushing their browser even further but I still like the Chrome better. Anyway I would give this perfect machine the full 5 stars. As always Dell Is It! Just wished it had 2 16gb memory card instead ln 4 of 8gb cards so now I have to give up those cards for 4 of 16gb ram to be total 64gb max.

Only dislike I had was no Optical sound output! Had to order a sound Blaster card to resolve the issue. Had Polk Audio and sub-woofer sound bar that has Optical sound. Never payed close enough attention when I ordered the Dell XPS which had HDMI ARC bout no out HDMI ARC on the Polk.uding the blue tooth sound until card arrives and it sucks! The lips do not mach the sound from lag with BT.

PC failed to reboot after Windows Update. Had to ship to Dell repair the day after I received it.

The box seemed already opened at the package arrival - tape was cut and it looked it was re-pasted onto the box. Also, HDMI cable once lost connection though both desktop and display are brand new Dell. Except for above issues, this desktop seems working fine with good processing speed.

This computer seems have delay & slow response to wireless mouse. Its very annoying when you always try to find your pointer and it delays for 0.2 second. I tried several wireless mouse. Its always the same issue. By comparison, the same wireless mouse performance normal in other computers. The wireless key-board is fine. In addition, there is noise from the computer too.

So far so good. A bit noisy at times, but it works fine for my purposes. E mail, social media and surfing the net are mainly what I use it for.
