This is the slowest new computer I’ve ever purchased. I purchased because my 6 year old system was struggling to run windows 10, this one is even worse. Do not purchase this computer unless you like to sit around and wait for basic functions to execute.

Everything is fine except it is slow. I have removed all those unnecessary out-of-box software including antivirus. But it is still slow. It is even slower than my 4-year old laptop. Check the performance manager, I see memory, hard disk, network are all fine. It is CPU usage is near 100% each time I use some application, in particular open a web site (with browser, either Chrome or MS Edge already opened earlier). Maybe 2-Core CPU is the problem? It has 3 GPU which may not help on non-gaming usage. Anyway, what I see is a super slow machine. I wanted to return it. But setting up a machine (with favorite software, accounts, etc.) takes time. So I am still hesitating. Added on 2018-12-22: This slowness is the biggest problem. I see browsing web could take 100% of CPU. If you watch a Youtube, with some ads going on, the browser (Chrome or MS Edge) would take 100% CPU (2 CPUs). The 3 GPUs are completely useless. Maybe GPUs are good for games. But I dont play games. So the bottom line is, this machine is not suitable for daily use since it has only 2 CPUs and is slow.

Do yourself a favor and spend a couple hundred dollars more and buy higher quality. Got an error on the very first boot up. Freezes when I’m surfing the internet using CABLE INTERNET! I’m talking about simple internet pages. I’m sure it will be awful when I attempt YouTube or videos. CPU constantly running at near 100% usage with internet explorer ONLY running. And the only things I have installed on this computer is Microsoft Office Suite and Google Chrome. See for yourself — good reviews are mostly people who gave a review of this product because they got it FREE! DO NOT BUY! Or if you want to throw away some money, message me and I’ll make you a deal on this piece of junk! Disappointed!

Not sure if the computer I received was defective or not but the CPU and Disc were running continuously at 100% and ran at a snails pace. Item was returned for refund.

This all in one PC doesnt have a lot of bells in whistles (no touch screen, no webcam, wired accessories), but it does have a clean small footprint, nice screen, its super quite and doesnt have a lot of junk pre-installed. The processor is more than enough to handle office applications, web surfing, streaming video, as well as games... just not at the same time. When I first set the machine up it did seem slow, so I checked the task manager and the CPU was constantly hitting 100% usage... I was worried that it didnt have enough oomph to handle to OS (like some netbooks Ive used), but I was relieved when I realized that the system was just downloading and installing all the extra software that it does come with... notably an non-activated license of Office, McAfee, and few Windows 10 apps. After the initial download and installing process which lasted about 30 minutes, the system speed was not noticeable (which is good). I activated the Office apps and they all ran fine without any lag, same with all my daughters homework apps. I could tell this wasnt a gaming machine but I loaded some graphic intensive games including Sims 4, SimCity, Unravel, Minecraft and Battlefront and attached a Bluetooth Xbox controller. Although they mostly ran at the low to medium graphics level, they were are all very enjoyable playable. Only Battlefront suffered from some lag that would make the game a little less than enjoyable. PROS: + Fast enough for Office and School Apps + Web is no issue even with a lot of tabs + Runs simple games like Card games and even Minecraft easily + Runs intense games at a medium low graphic quality (impressive for this price point) + Has WiFi and Bluetooth built in (so its possible to have only a power cable if you replace the keyboard and mouse) + Has microphone/Cortana assistant built in + Quiet... no whirring fans or grinding hard drives, perfect for an office environment. CONS: - No Webcam (may be a plus for a kid/office computer) - Basic wired keyboard and mouse... functional, but wireless would have made for a cleaner looking desk - Doesnt multi-task intense apps well, CPU caps out especially during the initial installs - No touch screen... I actually like my screens free of fingerprints, so Im not too sad about this, but there are a few times touching the screen would be a little easier OVERALL: This is a good budget machine that would fit in well at a quite office running web/office apps or for a kids homework computer. Its fully capable, has a clean footprint, and doesnt have a lot of junk on it. It is not however a speed demon, and you wouldnt want it for video editing, a pure gaming machine or in situations where you need a fast machine no matter whats going on in the background. Finally its up to you and your needs to decide if the lack of touch screen and webcam are a blessing or a curse.

This is a terrible PC , very slow, presents with so many problems that could have been solved before going to the market. Example: I do a lot of photography editing and it keeps blocking the access to the graphics when using online programs. The video sucks it also gets blocked at times and keep having annoying warning sounds that its blocking the access to the graphics, up to 36 I counted once. I thought by buying a DELL which is my first time I would have a good quality PC, but I DO regret it, I not a PC guru, but I have the service by Geek Squad, that has helped me partially to solve these inconveniences. If you want maybe to play solitaire with it it might work for you. The initial setting should be a breeze, but it hasnt been, so I DO NOT recommend to buy this item.

This is my first and for sure last Dell product. No matter how cheap, no decent manufacturer should put out such an agonizingly slow computer. Didnt believe the bad reviews and got kicked in the butt for not doing so. This is also my first and last AMD processor - if this is the best they can come up with after Seven Generations there sure is no point in sticking around for the next seven. My old Compaq from twenty/thirty years ago would leave this thing in the dust, even with dial-up.
