There is absolutely no way to prevent this computer from rebooting automatically to apply updates. I do not want the computer to do this, have changed all the settings to prevent it and it still happens. Microsoft help states that this is by design. You can specify the hours for it to reboot but not completely turn it off. I need a computer that is always on and this piece of garbage will not allow that functionality.

Transitioning from Mac to PC. First tried out the Dell G7 with similar processor. It ripped thru Red Raw footage no problem. The G7 crushes my currently maxed out 2017 iMac. Which prompted me to buy this Dell tower. Having six-cores greatly increases performance when editing with Adobe apps. 16GB Ram is a nice sweet spot, more is better, 16 is nice. In this Machine upgraded to 1TB M.2 system drive. Overall the system is quick, quiet and packs a punch. Pairs with a 28-inch Dell minitor. Two corrections to reviews below: no you can’t build this system under $500 with same specs. This is a 3.2Ghz processor with a boost to 4.6Ghz.

Really great specs for the price. Runs very smooth and quiet, set up was a breeze. Runs photoshop cloud very well. Tested on a few virtual world applications, also ran very smoothly. Heavy duty gamers may want more juice, but if youre looking for a decent out-of-the box machine for a moderate price point, this is hard to beat

I could not have built this computer for this price. Fairly easy to upgrade. I have upgraded the internal 128GB M.2 drive to 256GB (Max for the slot), and added a 500GB WD Black M.2 with a PCIe X4 adapter card, and migrated the OS onto it. Some minor issues with the BIOS and migration, however with some free third party software all went smoothly. .

The computer works very well. This version is the 16GB RAM, 2TB storage. It can run Total War Warhammer II at 70 FPS (released 2017), as well as City Skylines, XCOM 2 etc... They all run well. It is a super slick looking computer too!

Wow, pretty slick computer. I didn’t realize how fast the 128 gig SSD would fill up. Only running operating system on it. Everything must be installed on the 2 terabyte drive. Runs real quiet and fast. Very happy.

It arrived well packed, and in a timely manner. As expected the i7-8700 is fast, and responsive, however the included harness is insufficent for upgrades. It also arrived without the 128 GB SSB. I suspect that Dell is saving a few bucks here, and there. The motherboard also leaves upgrades difficult, and really lacking ports for fans. Ive had no overheat problems yet, but putting ice cubes inside after an all day calculus session seems a little extreme.

When the product arrived, I heard some rattling and found that the fan WAS NOT even attached. For someone who does not know how to put together computers, this was very upsetting. I’ll be honest I havnt tested it to see how it works yet because I can’t turn it on, so I will update my opinion once I give it together. But so far, disappointed!

The case is top processed and has a very noble design. The performance level corresponds to 100% of the installed components. From the first minute everything was neatly preinstalled and ready to use. Unwanted software was easily removed. Unfortunately, the desktop has no water cooling as it can be suspected in the pictures, so only 4 stars. Current games run smoothly with the highest settings in HD. Only in the resolution 4K you notice the first performance weaknesses. In this price segment really a very good desktop PC.

When I got it I had to trouble shoot a lot of issues. The biggest thing I noticed was the drivers were miserably out of date. It was a hassle to install updates for all of them because I kept getting errors. Then I had a lot of trouble with the audio on this device too. I finally got all that stuff to work and then I started gaming after day 2 or 3 of troubleshooting. (reckon I havent used windows since 2015) I was trying to run Rising Storm 2 on my computer. Which is a game that my PC that I built back in 2011 could run on medium settings just fine. This computer has 2x the speed as my old computer and it struggled to run the game on high. Being puzzled by this, I decided to go back to the Dell website and do a driver scan on my Video card. Turns out it came broken. So I called tech support and they helped me and solved the graphics issue... "dell support assist" was the thing that was breaking all my drivers. Apparently if that is not up to date all the time the drivers wont work properly. So you have to constantly uninstall and reinstall Dell Support Assist for things to work right. So the guy solved the issues for the most part. there are more problems though. It also has some freezing problems while Im just surfing the web or poking around my files and desktop. I have to restart the computer every time it has this stopping and starting issue. the screen will freeze and the CPU usage will plummet and then 2 seconds later it fires up again. And then 2 seconds later it freezes. This will just go on indefinitely until i turn the computer off and start it up again. Im returning this product. I called Dell and waited on the line for 45 minutes. I put in a return request and Amazon called me! Full refund within 3 minutes of being on the phone. Thanks for the great service Amazon! So glad I dont have to get totally ripped off now! For 1000 dollars your paying for mid-level drivers that just wont work.
