Just got the computer yesterday and I must say Im pretty impressed with the performance and price! Everything works fine and runs smoothly. MY computer came with a ZOTAC 2080, an ADATA su800 1tb, the ryzen 7 2700x, and a GeIL EVO POTENZA (never heard of it but no issues with the ram.) The only thing Im disappointed in was the gigabyte MICRO ATX motherboard and of course an off brand PSU. I already knew the computer was gonna come with an offbrand PSU so I bought my own and replaced it immediately. Im of course going to be looking for a new motherboard when the time comes, but overall Im pretty satisfied with my purchase. End all be all, I still saved a couple hundred bucks on a RTX 2080 system even after all the part replacements.

The computer works great and is definitely a good deal for the money. However, it seems they chose low quality lights. The upper lights and two of the fans didnt work. It also looks like one of the fans isnt working correctly. I traced what wires I could and everything looks properly connected but definitely seems lazy. If the issue gets resolved Ill change my review but just a warning to anyone expecting 100% quality.

Trying to assemble the computer, my husband picked up the glass side and while he was just simply holding it, it shattered onto a ton of pieces. Instantly cut his hands up, blood and glass everywhere. Unless you want a giant mess, I would not recourhis computer. It is obviously built terribly.

The system itself specs wise was a great buy for the money. I bought two of these machines on the same order, one for me one for the wife. One of the boxes has been previously opened and then closed with a different tape. In that system there were several things missing, and also a broken Hard drive tray. I thought it was just screws missing on the tray but was told that it should hold the drive without screws. I see that there are tabs broken off now and said so in the email. I could tell what was missing because of having a second exact system to open it beside. I called cyberpowerpc customer support and talked to a rep who said to send him an email with pictures and he would get back to me. I sent those pictures to the email he provided me with on Nov 27th, 6 days ago, and have yet to hear anything. Not even an acknowledgement of my email with the pictures he requested. Based on that I would say their support leaves a lot to be desired. The drives arent in the system straight, wont stay in place, and so Ill either find a cage for the drive or Ill have to come up with something else to secure them. EDIT Dec 5 2018: I emailed the same email to the techteam@cyberpowerpc and have been waiting for a response from there. The response time from CP is really bad and Ill have to reconsider the rating if I dont get an answer within 48 hours. Support means a lot in tech buys.

So, maybe its just my computer, but Im experiencing horrible performance and technical issues all around. Right out of the box, the back facing fan was making a strange sound, as if it was hitting against something. I had to un-tighten some of the screws holding the fan to fix the issue. That was just a prelude of what was next to come... after the setup was over, i began installing games onto my HDD and ran into a weird artifact error in the form of a pop up window that made multiple images of my mouse curser. This was within the first 15 minutes of first time use with the unit. I then decided to restart to fix the error and I was greeted to my second error in the form of a fatal crash in one of the VR games I was trying to run. I tried everything to get this game to run, but I couldnt get it going to save my life, as I continually got the error over and over again. So I just gave up on the game completely and tried running a regular game that wasnt VR (My other VR games did work btw). I had planned to test some single player games on steam and needed to hook up my XBOX One controller via bluetooth, but for some weird reason, even bluetooth wasnt working on this PC. It struggles to find discoverable signals. After like 10 minutes of fiddling around with different controllers, I somehow got VERY lucky and got one of the m to connect. So then, I started running Resident Evil (GCN Remake) which is a pretty old game. Shouldt be too hard for an AMD Ryzen 7 and a RTX 2070, right? Well, I ran into slowdown and stutter like no one would ever believe. Im talking, my game would slow down to an absolute crawl. I even lowered the video settings to try and improve my situation, but it didnt help at all. My character would start walking on her own and my controller would vibrate a ton right before the extreme slowdown began, almost as if to personally warn me that the game was about to mess up. I was really puzzled by all this, so I decided to test out one more game, and it would be the lowest of low when it came to performance demand; the Genesis Classics Collection. These are all 16 bit games from the 90s, so theres NO WAY I could run into any kind of failure of any kind here, RIGHT? Wrong. I experienced input lag on my controller that totally made the games on that collection unplayable. I tried so hard to get the controller to work correctly. I even went through the trouble of syncing a totally different controller and its all the same. And the cherry on top of that cake is, right after I quit the game out of pure frustration, the UI crashes. Beautiful. I know based on everything im saying, it really sounds like I should rate this computer one star. The only reason I gave it two was because as I was playing Resident Evil, it was beautiful on the higher settings (for the 5 minutes that it worked properly). That star is also there because im trying to give some reasonable doubt here that maybe my unit is just not a good one. I plan on getting an exchange, and hopefully Ill get something that works properly. Everyone else seems to be rating a full 5 stars, and they all cant be wrong.Ill keep this review updated when and if my situation improves, but as of right now, this is a huge disappointment to me. My old Dell Inspiron is only running a vanilla 1070 video card and it doesnt have not one of the issues I went into detail with here.
