My Dell XPs (Ive Had 3) usually last about 4 years which is probably about normal for todays PCs. I use my PC for home stuff and some gaming. This is my first PC with windows 10 so some of what I like about this computer is about the W10. Anyway Ive had this computer a little over a month and here is my take sofar: PROS: -Less expensive than a comparible DELL -Loads very quick on start-up -Graphics GTX1050 very nice -everything I was looking for and a little more CONS: -Slightly noisier than my old DELL but not enough to be distracting -Comes preloaded with MCAFEE just like the DELL. The first thing I did was uninstall it. The problem Ive found with MCAFEE in the past is that it slowly over times uses more and more of the computers memory causing the computer to slow down.

We like ASUS personal computers. We have 2 desktops and 1 laptop. They are very reliable.

Only recommendation I have is to add a SSD for booting, otherwise this computer is great.

What a mistake, I assumed ASUS would make a quality desktop, motherboard died after 4 months, and I found it is impossible to remove and replace the motherboard, since its built into the case, how stupid is that, I purchased for 500 so I thought it was a good deal, but the cheap plastic and metal case is garbage, and they put the cheapest motherboard and fans, it was an embarrassment. I just never thought I would get junk like this from ASUS, just because its budget system, doesnt mean it has to be garbage, they need to fire the engineers handling the desktop builds, please.

Dont do much gaming but do need a high speed machine for video processing. Much better than the previous machine Ive had (also an ASUS). One slight drawback is that it doesnt have a DVD drive or even a slot for one. Converted an old one to an external drive and this works well with the unit. Definitely a work horse.
