(And thats an professional opinion from a software developer with 35 years experience) Ive been experimenting with running Android apps on this product. About 9 outta 10 seem to work pretty good.

Im loving ChromeOS and this is the most powerful computer Ive found so far to run it. I wish someone would make a 32GB of ram version, but Im not sure if i would ever even use that candidly. Chrome OS is the future, and the ability to play Android apps on my desktop is just magical. dont wait, buy a pixelbook and/or this Chromebox.

So easy to use compared to Window PC. Watch out Microsoft. I wanted to replace my All in one PC and the Chromebox with a monitor and speakers did the Job.

Currently own two of these small Chromeboxes (and a ChromeBook). They are simple to set-up and incredibly fast. However, I do use a desk top tower for my "old school" computer needs as the "Chrome" systems have no appreciable hard drive storage, or external disk drive--which I use. In short: Yes, I recommend the Acer ChromeBox CXi3-4GNKM.

Works great, no windows 10 hassles as it is not a Windows OS. Plenty fast for me but all I use it for is banking, email, web browsing for news and an occasional game of solitaire.

I develop mobile apps on flutter and this thing is awesome. Since it runs android apps you can deploy on... itself! It’s small enough to carry in your backpack, so just plug it in your monitor at work and code away.

Display repeatedly failed. Now it wont boot. Recovery screen displays but fails repeatedly. Heading back to the factory at my expense. And I will have no desktop for weeks. Not happy at all. This will be my first and last Acer product.

Been a decades long Acer customer, but their warranty and support is a joke. You have create an acer account to post on their customer discussion board online, and then the moderator Manny will ask you to PM a message to him, and then thats the end of your request. They shadowban you for any negative comments posted, much like Apple discussion boards. I have yet to need to contact CTL after 10 months, but I see so many posts and responses from them that you can tell they are much more responsive and serious about making a dent in the Chrome OS market. I have also had ASUS products and they are also not reliable.
