Very economical computer. I wanted to use it for gaming, but I had to make other upgrades to it. It really cant run origin games. It would crash trying to run some of them, other the quality was really low and it would lag. But, the good news is that theres plenty of room to add a large graphics card and extra RAM stick in the case. It has two extra spots for hard drives too, one of them being attached to the dvd optical drive though. Ive had it for a few weeks and Ive had no problems. Good computer choice for anyone

The Acer Aspire TC-885-ACCFLi3O Desktop, 8th Gen Intel Core i3-8100, 8GB DDR4 was easy to setup. My 5 year old Dell I3646 was getting old and slow. The TC885 is fast. Startup to login - approx 9 seconds. Its fast on my software programs I use. It runs quiet and does the job. I dont think you would want this for heavy gaming unless you make some additions. For light games its great. For my needs this PC is perfect. I recommend the Acer TC-885.

Really happy with this machine. There are i3 7100 based machines that are more expensive and the i3 8100 is a huge upgrade as the 8th gen Intel CPUs jumped to four cores. It even outperforms four core i5 7400 based machines. Add in the 16GB of optane boost and you cant beat this machine in a pre-built. It is only a hair slower in booting and loading programs than my SSD equipped machine. I added a $25 4gb RAM stick for 12GB total and dual channel capability. Needs a dedicated GPU if you plan on gaming and the keyboard and mouse leave a lot to be desired but overall very happy with the purchase.

I rated the computer for gaming right in the middle - I do not do games but write local history books. The value for the money seems almost reasonable, though the HDMI ports did not work properly on the TV that I use as a monitor, so had to purchase a VGA cable to make it work properly but that was a minor problem. As for tech support, I picked the middle again because I have not used the tech support - yet. I started off years back with a Commodore Business Machine (before the Vic-20 or C-64), so somewhat know myself around. I was looking for particular things and this one seemed to have much of what I was looking for until Microsoft ends support in about five years for Windows 10. When that ends, I might well switch to Ubuntu or something of that sort. This machine did update nicely and except for making the TV come out agreeably, the machine works just fine. I highly suggest getting a good UPS system!

My mother in law is in the habit of installing whatever browser extension, screen saver, and other nonsense she sees. So she has always had problems with her computers. We bought this for her so shed be able to at least check her emails and facebook. Shes happy, and it was cheap, so were happy. This would NOT be a good gaming computer.

This is a great computer but I use it for basic functions (You Tube, pictures, online browsing, etc). I purchased several refurbished computers (even different models) to return them. I made sure this one wasnt refurbished! It is fast and I am very happy with it. For the price and my needs, I couldnt be happier. Also, I love Acer. My laptop is Acer, going on 5 years and still outstanding.

Quiet, plenty of USB ports, fastest Home PC Ive ever encountered although it has Windows 10. I dont really care for Windows 10, still learning how to navigate it. I dont do gaming so I have no idea how it would work for that. I research a lot and watch You tube. I recommend highly to anyone looking for a good home PC.

Im not a gamer , nor do I use my computer for business. Acer makes a reliable computer. My last one lasted 6 years and never had a major problem. The only downside to my old one was the fan had problems but that is fixable and can be minimized with an additional mini an on the outside.

Threw in my Rx 550 and 550w PSU and its working like a charm. Most of my games run flawlessly on max settings. If you want to do vr gaming, aim for like a RX 590 or a GTX 480. The processor is good enough without upgrading it so you can save money there. Maybe invest in a bit more memory if you plan on streaming or something of that nature. Pretty solid set up just by adding another 400 worth of parts.

Plug and play for sure. Had to make an emergency replacement. Hooked this up to two monitors and my external hard drive. I moved my MS Office subscription over and was up and running in less than 30 minutes. Hooked up and restored my files from Carbonite overnight and was totally recovered by morning. Delivery was very fast.
