I love this product but now I am looking for the "remote" control. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because one small area of the ring light failed to light up with the white light.That area does light up with the warmer light and playing around with the knobs. However, it is a very good product. I watched another Amazon video review here to go over assembly. If you are using it for self taping with your cell phone, use the camera attachment piece along with the cell phone piece to get your cell phone up a little more to the center of the light ring. Temp control does not seem to be an issue.

So far everything seems to be working properly. I love how the light can be adjusted from warm to cool and it is definitely a bright lamp. For a starter this is an excellent buy. It is a bit flimsy but other than that is good.

It comes with a decent tripod, and I like that I can use the tripod for other things with the similar mounting screw. The light works really well. I like being able to use the temperature control, to get the right tones. very important.
