I used this product for recording YouTube videos at my desk. Although I did use another 3-point lighting kit could have easily filmed it with my ceiling light and this as this little device is extremely bright on full, almost unnecessarily bright, but the controller makes it easy to dim. I love how the company didnt cut any corners as most ring lights have one ring of lights with filters you can put on to change the color, but you can see by looking at the device that inside there are three rings of different colors of lights. The controller works well with the device but would be cool to see it have a battery option for wireless use. But lastly, it is incredible that the company included all they did for the price point well worth it!

Honestly for the price this ring light is pretty decent. It’s plastic, so it’s probably not the most durable but it’s great to makeup tutorials and desk top use. The settings are easy to navigate on the user friendly remote and assembly is quick and simple. The ability to make the light very bright or subtly dim is something that most rings can’t get right, but this one does. Overall I’m really happy with this light and am excited to use it to film makeup tutorials.

I love how many light modes there are. I just plug it into my laptop and it works beautifully. I use this to do my makeup because my lights are dull in my bedroom. The phone holder is a huge help for video or photos! I do wish the legs on the stands were easier to prop up to be taller (maybe Im doing something wrong). Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

It is exactly as described. The lighting actually got brighter than expected for both the LED and RGB colors. I would definitely recommend getting this before getting a bigger size ring light to see what you’re getting :)

I ordered this product as someone who streams on Twitch as well as films YouTube videos to have as an additional light source. I was WOWed at how bright this little guy is and love the RGB settings too. The customizable features of the main light source and RGB modes are great! It came with 2 desktop tripods and shipped quickly!

This light is well made, though the buttons on mine say "model" instead of "Mode" but it doesnt matter. The function is perfect, and not only are there 10 brightness levels for 3 shades of "white" light, theres an RGB mode with a variety of colors in high and low modes. Also, you can turn on a shade of the white light (and brightness) on the outside ring and an RGB color on the inside ring by turning both modes on. There is also a spectrum cycling RGB mode that I can think of a couple of uses for. It plugs into any standard type A USB female port and has an inline remote. I use it for Twitch, YouTube, Mixer, Facebook Live, and Mobcrush for streaming and gaming and its better than I could have hoped for. I got it with 1-day shipping too!

I ordered this product for my 11 yr old that is very into making movies with her iphone. She was able to set up and use this light kit with no help from me. The tripods that come in the kit are really great and versatile; both feel sturdy and durable. The tripod for the phone extends and rotates the phone. The light is easy to use. The range of colors is good and the light itself is so pretty that my daughter wants to use it for more than video lighting! What a great table lamp! The videos my daughter has been taking look so much more natural and evenly lit. Highly rec!
