I had originally ordered the taller one, but it was way too tall to use sitting at my desk, my biggest fear was that this would be unstable and tip over. The base is nice and sturdy and even when I tip my 18" ring light forward the base never wavers. I have been using this since the day it arrived and I love it. its perfect for filming
So, I do YouTube videos. Sometimes I do makeup videos. I got a little frustrated because my traditional ring light from neewer has to be so far from me that a lot of the details are missed. And I hate having to zoom in when I edit because it makes a quality of that portion of the video not as good as a rest. So, when I found that they had a ring light stand that could be on your desk I was all for it. And isnt affordable. Now it is wobbly when there is no ring light on it. The setup part of this is so easy. There are no instructions you were just screwing him one part with the other and Bam you done. I love the fact that it has gold. The cool part of this is that it is very travel-friendly. Trust me when I tell you trying to travel with a traditional ring light plus the stand and all of that. You be like you know what Imma just deal with this natural lighting and whatever it gives me is what it gives me. Its too much work this makes is so easy. I would recommend this for anybody who wants to do YouTube because you really dont need that stand unless youre going to be in an area where there are no desk or chair. Just as pictured, you get the stand (it’s metal and seems sturdy, with the legs padded so it doesn’t slide around or scratch your table. No instructions which is normal for Neewer however, all you have to do is unfold the legs and screw on the gold tube and voila :) I purchased to mount my 18” dimmable neewer ring light on my glass desk for a setup.

My neweer ring light was not very stable and I hated messing with the tripod stand. I didnt know if this kind of thing existed, but I took to amazon and took a risk and this is PERFECT. It is super steady, holds my ring light and sits on my tabletop evenly. I mainly use it for makeup looks and self-recording, and I couldnt ask for a better product.
Fits perfectly on my vanity table. So much easier to keep my ring light on my table and not have to use the traditional stand.

Love this ring light stand. It was only $15.99. It arrived quickly. Took only 2 days to arrive. No instructions were included but it was very easy to set up. Its sturdy and not cheap. I attached it to my 18" Lusana Studio LED ring light. So it seems that the adapter may be universal? It gave me more space in my bedroom which is what I needed. I have a video review. It’s perfect!! The one I had was wobbly and wouldn’t stay put. With this stand I’m able to balance my ring light and point it wherever I like and it stands straight up. I’m gonna repurchase for my daughter vanity.
